Theres a reason for the young cast. The director said he wanted that feel , as if we were there with them. Because they are younger and have no experience, more people can relate to them more than having scientists that know what theyre doing. He also said it would be more frightening following people that dont have a clue. Also he wants young people that come from a colony like hadly hope and to see how they live etc...
I get it but I still would prefer an older cast. For example, a group of grunts with two or three highly trained experts. A lot of folks could still relate to that.
The young actors will make younger viewers find interest in the Alien universe, and so the Sci fi horror franchise and the H. R. Giger art will continue to live forward in decades to come. 🖤😎👍
@@spiritual2355 H. R. Giger art and his Biomechanical Alien is saved for all future through his incredible artwork. Alien is based on science fiction that is already there, no matter what happens in the future.
essentially abandoned children grew up on a planet that has been terraformed (to a degree). Their parents left them there for another mission. So after 2 decades feeling lonely, bored and helpless, the now young adults along with an android fixed an old scout ship to leave the planet to get to the big craft (romulus) that was stationed along the permimeter of their planet. fede was inspired by a scene in an extended scene in aliens of kids running around hadleys hope and wondered what kids like that would do if they grew up
I always prefer mature cast in horror films too. Hate annoying and stupid teens but despite that this film looks fantastic so far. I keep my fingers crossed

In the reality they had a younger cast because they are less expensive this is not a big budget movie.
Fede does tend to cast younger ppl in his films
Fede himself stated this was the case. But yes, they are cheaper. Killing two birds with one stone.

Let’s hope so 🤞
Or lose the franchise for ever
