When I went to the their concert two days ago, they played this song, and when they came to the ''what a waste of a perfectly good, clean wrist'' Vic put up his arm in the air, with his wrist facing the audience and everyone put of up his/her wrist in the air. Honestly, it was so beautiful.
Certain parts of the song are from the point of view of his blades. He makes it sound like he's singing about a girl, but it's actually a blade singing about him.
I'm currently living in a psychiatric unit and discovered this band while using one of the unit ipods. Maybe the most unexpected scenarios to discover a great band

As you get older the things that seemed so difficult as a young teenager (making new friends, participating in social activities, etc) get so much easier because you get so much more comfortable in your skin. Things also get harder, though, because you have so many more pressures put on you to prepare for your future, learn how to do things that you've always depended on your family for (like taxes, driving, finances).

I was like 11/12 when I started to listen to bands and it helped me get through some of the toughest times I never thought I’d make it to 15 and now my 18th birthday is in March and I haven’t self harmed or relapsed since 2017 it gets better eventually I won’t lie I continue to go through tough things but I just learned to handle it in much healthier ways

2 minutes into the song and I started crying 😣 I remember I used to play this song when I was cutting (passed tense, I stopped 😊) and the “Can we create something beautiful and destroy it” part got to me because what was something beautiful to me was my life, and I was destroying it so I just bursted into tears. And then I called my guy best friend and he freaked out and came to my house at 6:30 am just to hug me 😂😂😂 lmao I love him 😂

I was like 11/12 when I started to listen to bands and it helped me get through some of the toughest times I never thought I’d make it to 15 and now my 18th birthday is in March and I haven’t self harmed or relapsed since 2017 it gets better eventually I won’t lie I continue to go through tough things but I just learned to handle it in much healthier ways

Damn. This was my most favorite song as a teen apparently. It’s been 6 years Since I’ve heard this song. Today I came upon a comment on my Facebook memory . “ I can’t stop listening to Disasterology - PTV” I thought, I should come back here and listen to it and reflect on how I used to feel. Haha well it’s not a bad song but I can no longer relate to their music. Which makes me really happy because I see it as maturing and maybe becoming a bit happy with myself? Don’t misunderstand me, if you’re even reading this. I’m glad I had this kind of music to help me out when I was going through rough times.
