@@-nazzer-2578hopefully after a year you got it figured out but I was having the same exact problem. Bass would bite and I would jerk the rod to set the hook and it gets off pretty much every time . What I started doing was to keep reeling it in for 2-3 seconds and then jerk the rod to set the hook. Seems to work for me.
For anyone who wants lots of line on a tiny reel its easy. Equip a big reel amd fill it up. Then switch to the small reel and it keeps the line. I got 1640 ft of line on the smallest reel in the game.
@@kevinmunley just put the biggest reel you have in your rod then it will hold more line abd after the line is on you can switch back to your normal reel and it will keep the extra line.
Make sure you are using the correct .006 braid line. I have 2. One is green and the line test is only 6 pounds. The other is a light blue line that is 13 pounds. You need to use the green line that is 6 pound test.
If you use the #2 bass jig you will catch alot of bass but that includes small ones
i prefer using #2/0 for trophy bass although any bass jig will work regardless, as long as you have the right rod and line
@@melazmusic i keep missing my bites when the controller vibrates it stops and i miss any tips?
@-nazzer-2578 yes, there's a few things that could be wrong.. Bass is too small for the hook size or you do the retrieve wrong..
Genuinely give up, 4 years in I go back n do all of these n I’ve gotten 0 bites in 48 minutes?!

@@EliteNugz I will test it out. Thanks.
Same problem here. . .it doesnt see that the setup is same as yours, just using the value spin 230, inspira slim 1000 and 0.5 braid
I have a bass caster rod , 006braid and bass jig and it wont register that I’m using the right equipment.
