You sound like you believe you're advocating for animals but i see it as looking down on them. They don't need you or me to look out for them. That same bear you think needs not to be taken for granted, will rip your skull open if it has to or thinks you are a threat.

@Baba Foodle Congratulations...at least you admit that you are sharing your personal opinion rather than evidence, but again your opinion is contrary to the overwhelming evidence that is accepted by the vast majority of academics and scholars who work in the field. You criticize evolutionary theory because we can trace it back to one man's theory - this is a fallacious argument - it is like saying Calculus is not a solid discovery because we can trace it all back to one man - Isaac Newton. You also cite that your argument is strong because before Darwin most people accepted creationism - again a fallacious argument know as argumentum ad populum - According to this line of reasoning we should also accept that the world is flat because that is what the majority used to think...or that the sun revolves around the Earth or that lighting bolts are thrown by angry gods on the mountains... Grow up and do the research...the science is not a secret, it is accessible for anyone to study. If you have a legitimate criticism or have found legitimate flaws with evolutionary theory than you are deserving of a Nobel Science prize.

Bears can open up coconuts much in the same manner as they open up human skulls. A multi-use skill in their instinctual tool set. There is a LOT of calories inside a human skull. Definitely a worthwhile acquired skill for bears in the last million years.

The sun bear, which are naturally gentle animal, will get surprised from their nap on a tree, and instinctivly will fallin themselves right on top of your head 🤣 with their claws reach you first.
