Are ya kidding me???? These guys sound AMAZING. It's no 3 chord song, either. I'm bloody well blown away. Cheers mates, job well done!
I’m reading this as I listen to the intro and it’s literally just two chords. The verse is three chords. The chorus is four chords (although one could argue that one of them isn’t really playing an important role). Harmonically, this is a pretty simple song. It’s still a great song, and the soloing and arrangement have a big part in that.
Thinking about my first band in high school, we were total crap and barely got through one show. These kids in this video are better than most bar bands I have ever seen.
But the vocal harmonies are weak. I give them credit. They sounded good, but there could’ve been more vocals to properly cover the song.

I agree! Supertramp music is not just simple progression and chord phrasings either- these young kids all pulling it together and sounding fantastic doing it too!

Rhythm guitarists never get much love, but this one deserves it. I'm not sure I've ever heard as solid of a rhythm guitarist as this one. She's rock-steady, great guitar sound, perfectly placed in the mix, and throwing in sweet backup vocals!!!!!

At 67 years old, this song has considerable significance for me. I first heard it as a 21 year old, young American in Saudi Arabia. It is associated with so many, many experiences throughout my life. So when I say you "NAILED IT", I do so sincerely. Great job!

Not an easy band to cover on, you did a great job. I went to a Super Tramp show in Buffalo NY in 77/78 ???. It was so good they added the next night for a show. Whew, long time ago. Not many bands do that, sold out both shows ! Rock on.

Hey! I'm a Connolly in AZ. The Low Darts started appearing on my YT feed today and made my day. Unbelievable talent, skills and dedication. I have a lot of video to explore. My family's musical interest apparently ended with me. I would have loved to be playing with my son and grad sons but it wasn't in their hearts and I wasn't a pushy parent. The next Elton John or Billy Joel for sure. They're ALL phenomenal! I can't fathom kids at 15 playing at that level unless there are to some degree extremely dedicated or like a prodigy of some sort. WOW.
