@@Stardust375 shimenawa doesn't debuffs u for burst, it just makes it harder. I can easily burst after using my E with 120% er shimenawa and I can easily get 200k, so bursting with shimenawa will let you burst and won't debuff you
Homa is just a all around amazing polearm, if hou use a team that dosent use Hu Tao, you can just borrow her homa for someone else as it works with basicly all polearm users
- Hu tao need to be on life support always - if you put her on a shiminawa set you shouldn't use her burst -use rosaria with her so u melt her atks -try to get her c1 it's a really good consultation or get her weapon
C1 isn't necessary it's just a comfort thing but staff of homa will be useful for every other caracters in his account. Besides, the 4 stars on the banners aren't good while the weapon banner as way more to offer so i think he should go for that

hue tao also id say you go for shenhe, with hu tao xiangling rosaria and shenhe you could have really good single target team for bosses in abyss, even though homa is really tempting option, shenhe may be around the corner so u really have to choose 1
Going after Shenhe might actually be worth it to pair her with rosaria and hu tao, so you can consistently trigger melt. I know she doesn't directly buff hu tao, but she'll buff rosaria, plus triggering melt will increase your dps greatly, probably more than just having staff of homa does, thpugh that weapon can be used by many characters, while shenhe won'tbe as versatile. I think if you wanna play hu tao more optimal and use her a lot, go for shenhe, and if you want a versatile and amazing weapon, go for homa. Anyways love your videos :)
I personally would recommend going for c1 hu tao bc you either fix her entire stamina issue by winning the 50/50 OR you get guaranteed for the next 5* polearm! If you don’t want to do that however I would recommend saving. I had hu tao with black cliff / death match for over 2 years and I can confidently say she will be fine without homa :)
me thinks the pros of homa is that it's a flexible weapon that can be put easily on any other character like cyno/xiao/zhongli so it might be more beneficial for the account

Shimenawa is a perfectly good set for hutao! If you have c1. Shimenawa is for charged attack builds, which without hutao c1, are not as good. I recommend using Crimson Witch for everything else. Crimson is better for c0 Hutao, as the 4 piece buffs reactions, and you can use the burst more often, which is a lot better for c0 hutao. Pyro damage bonus is good, but the four piece is what you want to go for. Some builds I recommend 2pc Crimson 2pc Tenacity- Crimson buffs pyro, and tenacity buffs hp. 4pc Crimson - for the pyro damage buff and reactions buff 2pc Shimenawa 2pc Crimson- atk is good for most characters, and 2pc crimson for the pyro dmg bonus.
You should definitely wish on the weapon banner to get Staff of Homa, it's a great weapon for Hu Tao and alot of other characters that can use it as well. You might even get lucky and get two of them so you can give one for Hu Tao and the other one for anyone else that needs it like Thoma or Xiao.

As a Hu Tao main let me tell you some tips if you are going to pull for her. So first of all the first tip is the correct order to play her. It is = skill - charged attack - burst. The second tip is her extraordinary play style and more. You should play her with low hp (when the hp bar is red its fine) because she gets more powerful if you play her with low hp. So the next time you see a Hu Tao main running from a healer, thats the reason. And the last and third tip is to never worry about your hp if you have a shielder.( It doesn't have to be Zhongli or a fancy 5* character because Diona, Layla or your shielder is fine. ) The reason I'm saying this is because Hu Tao' s skill, yes takes her dmg but can't really kill her. If you get her try this with 150 hp. Her hp becomes 100 ≈ (aproximetaly) so don't worry about that. I wish everyone the best luck at your pulls!!

This account got ro a point where more characters won't do a big difference for the account but weapons could be the difference between 36 star abyss and 30 star abyss So definitely go for Homa, it's to good to be missed
imo you should jump cancel due to the fact that you can do more charged attacks and deal more dmg (it’s done by jumping in the middle of the animation or the beginning) it may take some time to do so but you can squeeze in 3-4 more charged attacks than usual
im not sure how well shenhe synergizes for melt with hu tao but that might be something worth looking into!! i would say she would be an expensive alternative to rosaria though so i don't know how willing you are for that. i do think her cryo application is on par or maybe succeeds rosaria's (i don't use either of them so take it with a grain of salt). there's also the chance for reverse melt and considering ur hu tao isn't running cwof and doesn't have much em it might not be worth it. i think if you do pull shenhe, the team you would run would be reverse melt with rosaria shenhe and xiangling with a flex slot (maybe kandake to get some vapes and to have an on fielder for some time and thoma might steal melts and vapes)
Generic tip but you should usually look for HP stats over ATK% even in substats, her E converts 30% of her HP into ATK, so it’s basically worthless prioritizing ATK
If a future Polearm user is Cryo, maybe Shenhe can be an optimal unit, but looking at Hu Tao's dmg, she's more likely to need 4 pc Crimson and Staff of Thoma, although Blackcliff and Deathmatch are both great, you can also rock the Dragon's Bane for EM boost but that only works if Xingqiu is in so Deathmatch, Blackcliff or Staff of Homa are you best options
Shenhe can actually buff normal/charged attack damage as well as elemental burst and skill damage depending if you press or hold her e (this is her 2nd ascension stat i think)
his best bet to a good team comp imo would be mono pyro comp with hu tao XL and thoma and have hu tao on a 4p lavawalker the last slot can be a flex like rosaria. second team can be a cyno aggro team with zhongli yaoyao and raiden/yunjin
Keep in mind that the trial hutao was *melting* 13k with her charged attack and 80k with her burst. I think without melt her burst only does 30k and CA only about 5k, so your hutao outdid the trial one already (as long as you burst when the e skill buff is active)
at this point of your account, homa is the best possible choice you could make. either that, or staff of scarlet sands on the upcoming banner for next update. i think thats the weapon coming out with dehya? that could just be rumor though...but honestly. homa is good on xiao, homa is good on hu tao. homa is good on zhongli. homa is good on rosaria. homa is just all around. a straight up, 100% upgrade for your polearm only account, and id either say go for THAT, or c1 hu tao because she becomes multiple times better with no stamina use on charged attacks.
Hu Tao gets a biggest atk buff from being on life support and she scales off hp (which is why theres 30k on her in the trial, like, if you set her up to get her into red of her hp in the trial she was doing like, 50k-60k for me. Took forever to set up tho/j)
im not sure if it can work but if you want to do vaporize candece can be an option since her burst infuses everyones weopen with hydro and infusion doesnt have a bad effect on hu taos e skill since it cannot be uninfused with pyro🤷
I think you should prioritize C1 hu tao before getting the staff of homa. It's probably easier to get, plus you wouldn't have to learn her animation cancels. She has a lot of four star weapons that work well with her! I think dragons bane is the best, but lithic spear can work well too. There are other weapons that have a crit main stat that can be subbed for lithic or dragons bane as well.
actually there's a high chance of Cyno getting a rerun in 3.5 so if there's no luck on Homa, the Staff of Scarlet Sands is also a good option since it's bis for Cyno and a second best weapon for Hu Tao right after Homa

Wish for Homa because people think you should never pull on weapon but you actually should pull on it because 5 star weapons make it way easier to progress through spiral and to defeat enemies. You should also use Rosaria with Hu Tao because melt.
personally, i think you should go for homa because homa can really benefit all the polearm characters you have currently and shenhe may or may not get a rerun soon but since you dont really need her, you should go for homa
I'd recommend you get homa, the crit damage you get when you crit SKYROCKETS HUGELY (i think it's by around a 22-20k increase in crit damage per crit, don't quote me on that) and if your worried about crit rate being too low, just have rosaria on your team and use her before you put hu tao on the playing field, i also wouldn't really incentivise pulling for Shenhe because, as you have said, she really doesn't bring much to the team, sure it would be better cryo application, but it'd be a minor damage increase compared to the raw crit damage (and i mean crit damage as in the actual damage you do when you crit) you get from homa, plus homa works for most of the polearm characters you have, making it (in your position) a universally greater choice than Shenhe, this is just my opinion though, just pick whatever you wanna pick and have fun.
GET STAFF OF HOMA! There will be no new polearm characters for at least 3 patches and I would personally suggest skipping shenhe completely. She is completely useless for this account and I think getting her just to collect all polearms is not worth it. You should put her on hold until we get a new cryo polearm dps and only then wait for a rerun. Staff of homa is by far the best dps polearm in the game, it is good on every character, you should spend every primogem you earn until you get staff of homa and then just save for future characters, since you'll have at least 3 months to save primos.
Shenhe can help rosaria but no one else where as homa can be used with hutao xiao and mostly everyone..but you have hu tao so use it on her ...in my opinion you should try to get homa

Funny. To balance things out on my account Xingqiu is lvl 90 with crowned talents and Hu Tao (after more than a year) still never used at lvl 20 (for a free wish).
I think Shenhe is worth the risk, just a different build, so she can do cryo damage, cause she for sure can help Rosaria out, and maybe even trigger melts, since its easier, and then weapons in my opinion,

You should try using the black cliff pole on her with the shimenawa set that was on the lumine because you still have good crit without the death match
I think on this account homa would be more important than c1 hu Tao since the stamina issue doesn’t seem that big of an inconvenience. But shenhe definitely isn’t as necessary compared to homa.
If you wanna use deathmatch on her, use a crit dmg crown. I use hu tao on blackcliff and on a crit dmg crown and her stats are 63/241 but deathmatch isnt that good when it comes to dmg
Definitely go for staff of homa, we don’t know when Shenhe will get a rerun, and banners are back on the 20-something day schedule so you’ll have a lot of time to save primos. I hope this made sense😅

Thoma is so good for Hu Tao, you should level him up and try to play them in one team.
But still go for Homa :)
personally, i think you should go for homa because homa can really benefit all the polearm characters you have currently and shenhe may or may not get a rerun soon but since you dont really need her, you should go for homa
I'd recommend you get homa, the crit damage you get when you crit SKYROCKETS HUGELY (i think it's by around a 22-20k increase in crit damage per crit, don't quote me on that) and if your worried about crit rate being too low, just have rosaria on your team and use her before you put hu tao on the playing field, i also wouldn't really incentivise pulling for Shenhe because, as you have said, she really doesn't bring much to the team, sure it would be better cryo application, but it'd be a minor damage increase compared to the raw crit damage (and i mean crit damage as in the actual damage you do when you crit) you get from homa, plus homa works for most of the polearm characters you have, making it (in your position) a universally greater choice than Shenhe, this is just my opinion though, just pick whatever you wanna pick and have fun.

GET STAFF OF HOMA! There will be no new polearm characters for at least 3 patches and I would personally suggest skipping shenhe completely. She is completely useless for this account and I think getting her just to collect all polearms is not worth it. You should put her on hold until we get a new cryo polearm dps and only then wait for a rerun. Staff of homa is by far the best dps polearm in the game, it is good on every character, you should spend every primogem you earn until you get staff of homa and then just save for future characters, since you'll have at least 3 months to save primos.

Shenhe can help rosaria but no one else where as homa can be used with hutao xiao and mostly everyone..but you have hu tao so use it on her ...in my opinion you should try to get homa

Funny. To balance things out on my account Xingqiu is lvl 90 with crowned talents and Hu Tao (after more than a year) still never used at lvl 20 (for a free wish).

I think Shenhe is worth the risk, just a different build, so she can do cryo damage, cause she for sure can help Rosaria out, and maybe even trigger melts, since its easier, and then weapons in my opinion,

You should try using the black cliff pole on her with the shimenawa set that was on the lumine because you still have good crit without the death match
I think on this account homa would be more important than c1 hu Tao since the stamina issue doesn’t seem that big of an inconvenience. But shenhe definitely isn’t as necessary compared to homa.
I also lost my 50/50 to Jean (C2) then got Hu Tao in another 20 wishes

its nice if u get c1 if youre using 4pc shimenawas since charged attacking can be painful in terms of stamina consumption.
If you wanna use deathmatch on her, use a crit dmg crown. I use hu tao on blackcliff and on a crit dmg crown and her stats are 63/241 but deathmatch isnt that good when it comes to dmg
Definitely go for staff of homa, we don’t know when Shenhe will get a rerun, and banners are back on the 20-something day schedule so you’ll have a lot of time to save primos.

go for homa after genshin 3.5 special program to see who's coming up in 3.5, and if there's no shenhe, go for homa
The test run Hu tao hits 132k damage if she is below 50% hp
If you get shenhe you could do double cryo hu tao and shenhe also can give 15% charge atk bonus she isn't completely useless.
Plus your not guaranteed the weapon so if you pull you could potentially get really unlucky and not get anything useful from the banner
