I had a terrible day today. My abusive husband was more toxic than usual, blaming me as the cause of his failures. I pray fervently, desperately, for God’s help out of this situation. Come to my aid Jesus God; ease my physical & mental suffering soon. In the Name of Jesus I ask this, Amen

I will invite God into my room tonight and sit completely silent for a moment until God arrives. When I feel his presence I will ask God for what I need at this time, knowing all too well he gives what he thinks I need.
I plead for your prayers. My poor blind ,Parkinson diseased husband Bill, married for 62 yrs Sept Ist . I got him ready for bed, went to kitchen heard crash. He fell into his his dresser and they told me he broke 3 ribs and bruised his kidney. It’s been horrible. His pain is severe and he has been in the emerg dept on a bed since the ambulance took him Wed. Afternoon. I’ve been taking care of him by myself for the last 3 yrs. I need prayer for them to keep him. I’m 82 and have had 2 back surgeries and a total knee replacement. Billy is totally dependent on me and I only way 104 lbs. We’ve served the Lord for over forty yrs and travelled all over sharing the Gospel. The last 3 yrs we never expected to be so traumatic. I can’t stop crying, my heart is broken to see him suffer. I’ve been asking the Lord to let us sense His presence , but I think we are so worn out the devil is stealing our peace. Please my brothers and sisters, pray God will pour His presence on Billy in the hospital and me here alone. He is 83 and I’m 82. Thank you. God bless you. Mina
Dearest Mina, I am praying for you right now. I lost my husband suddenly 2 years ago. He was 68. Such a terrible, terrible thing. It hurts us so bad to see our husbands suffer in pain. His biggest fear was letting me down. He worried about me all the way to the end. I love him and miss him so much. One of the best things that has helped me through this time is journaling. Writing down my fears, worries my frustrations. My lack of understanding. I would just pray a scripture and then journal all of my feelings onto paper. That has really helped a lot and might help you sort out what you and your husband are going through right now. I'm praying for strength and courage for both of you and hopefully the hospital or a social worker or someone might be able to arrange help for you in the house and taking care of him. I can't imagine how difficult that is, esp being 82 years old and in need yourself. Blessings and prayers to you today dear sister that the Lord will lift you up and strengthen you in the days ahead.

I'm presently on a journey of being less religious and more relational with Jesus. I was born again when I was 4 years old. Now I am 41, and the past couple of years have been teaching me that doing all the right stuff is not enough. Life is about close communion with Jesus, not habitual religious practices.
