I’m a Celtics fan and I love seeing Theis playing so damn well throughout this tournament. Despite being undersized, his game is suited perfectly for the FIBA rules and style of play and his chemistry with Schröder is great. The physicality of FIBA helps a lot too as it lets him contest shots with max effort without too much of a fear of foul trouble while in the NBA he gets fouls called on him for breathing on the shooter. Definitely one of my favorite role players to watch
The official basketball rules internationally are the FIBA rules not the NBA ones. This is the reason the same player performs better, different rules.

I was the Mall of Asia Arena to watch the games live. The crowd went crazy for both the Germans and Americans. They appreciated the athleticism and sportsmanship of the players regardless of the teams. That has made the game more spectacular and edifying for the players to do their best. Kudos Germany 🏀
