Thanks for the video and great information. I am planning to go to Lviv and maybe Kyiv in March/April 2025. Thinking about train from Przemysl. Are the border checks very long into and out of the Ukraine? Can't find good information online about it. Thank you.
:-) I smiled when I saw the title, because just last night I bought a train ticket for December 27, Budapest - Chop. I know there is Flixbus as well, but I’d have to be mad to choose a bus over a train (given the difference in comfort), especially when the bus is 2.5 times more expensive than the train. Have an awesome trip! Cheers from Thessaloniki.
Thank you for your information. My sister dreams of traveling to Ukraine so she can get baptized there. Our local small town church no longer has a priest. I reminded her there is a war going on there. With the way the US elections turned out, I worry the Ukraine will not be any safer anytime soon. But thank you.
Hi Tanya, hope you are safe and well:) I wanted to ask you, when i am in Kyiv, which official taxis are there now? i mean the names of companies, so that i can prepare in advance just in case :) Thx
Hey Tanya, I did it a few weeks ago. By train from Warsaw, via Chelm, to beautiful Kyiv ❤ Returning I had to travel by bus from Kyiv to Warsaw The trips were both 19hrs
@@Tanyafiona well the train was more comfortable. Only me and an 80yr old Ukranian man in a 4 bed carriage from Chelm. He lived in America and it was his first time home in 15 years! Coach was half the price but wasn't too bad!
Hello today is my last day visiting ukraine. I was traveling for 6 weeks here and will miss is alot. I took a train to prezemysl. And a bus from prezemysl to Lviv. It was such a nice time in the country. It breaks my heart whats happening in the eastern side. I am hoping everything ends soon. Lviv is wonderful i would recomend 100%. Slava Ukraine.
Thank you so much for this video, i am planning on a day trip from Budapest to Mukachevo, using the train, do i still need to purchase at ticket office in Budapest or can i book tickets online? As i am in UK i would need to book in advance
basically you will have go to re-seller , if you cant get to the train station in person . roughly cost warsaw to kiev by train from a re seller ? thanks for the vid btw 👍
What is the situation with travel insurance for foreigners with the war? Do you need a travel policy excluding Ukraine then purchase one for in Ukraine?
Martial law is in effect in Ukraine and air traffic has been suspended, however, the entry and exit of foreign citizens by land is allowed. Checkpoints on the border with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova are open and safe. Checkpoints with the russia, Belarus and Transnistria are closed. Crossing the state border of Ukraine is possible with: • a valid passport document (the passport must be valid for the entire stay in the country); ! Citizens of Turkey and Georgia can enter Ukraine on the basis of an ID card. • availability of an entry visa, if required; • a residence permit, the term of which expired after February 24, 2022, gives the right to enter Ukraine; • availability of a health insurance policy. Insurance in Ukraine is mandatory. For journalists, reporters, correspondents, opinion leaders, as well as media representatives, this is enshrined in the Law of Ukraine on Insurance (Article 7). Visit Ukraine also strongly recommends that you take out medical insurance covering military risks for the entire stay in Ukraine. This policy guarantees monetary compensation in the event of an accident as a result of passive military risks, terrorist acts, including repatriation of the insured person (or his body, in case of death) from the place of stay to the place of his permanent accommodation. Options such as emergency care, outpatient treatment, hospitalization, etc. are included in health insurance contracts. Recommendation! Be prepared to confirm the purpose of your entry and stay in Ukraine. Source : “Visit Ukraine”

If foreigners come to Ukraine can they be forceful mobilizied? Here in media they say Ukraine catch people on street by force and bring them to frontline by force. Is this true?
