"The revolution failed because the Greeks fought more with each other than against Turkey," he says. He also recounts that some of the bravest leaders were Arvanitas, who could not even speak Greek.
"Those who don't like Albanians should know that some of our brave leaders and captains were Arvanites, who didn't even speak Greek. And when Mavrokordatos spoke to the crew members of the Greek fleet, an interpreter was needed because they did not understand a word. (writes Paparrigopoulos)", writes Dimou.

Dimou also ridiculously claimed to the New York times Greeks used to all speak Albanian and aren't related to ancient Greeks. He's an antinationalist idiot that has no clue what he is talking about. Its painfully obvious why Albanian ultra nationalist adore Nick Dimou. You are genoicdal towards Greeks. Your racism becomes obvious when similar modernist histeography oriented academics deconsturct Albanian national identity into notinging using the same approach Dimou does with Greeks. Then you switch to claiming you are ethnically Albanians and related to Illyrians. Not a moral or inllectual principle in sight.
Dimou is a populist not a indepedent thinker. He's very popular among antihellenic trolls like you that he's trying to fit in with to show how he's an antinationalist. The populist coward can't be bothered to notice those that he's in bed with typically have far less in common with their claimed roots than Greeks do ancient Greeks.
