Here is my issue with this. These players want their money and guarantees upfront, so the team does it with the contract. These players know the back-end guaranteed is really taken up front, then they want new deals with guaranteed money again. Stop taking all the money upfront.

Truth Is, Trent Williams is one of the best Left Tackles in the NFL. If this holdout continues on into the season, I expect Jarrett Kingston to step in as a Solid Rookie Starting Left Tackle, although I do think the 49ers and Trent Williams to solve what they need to solve to continue this machine going. The 49ers do have a contingency plan in place.
