My dad was just there and wanted to run into you so badly, and funny enough you caught him on camera waiting for the parade and he didn’t see you!! Love the video!
Yeah this is a helpful video that I hope educates people on how to interpret the wait time signs, not just as this park but ANY park. A lot of people actually think that these wait time signs are predictive and in real-time when in actuality, there's a ton of lag time between when they can actually update the wait based on where the line is and when you actually see the sign itself in reality. So as Trevor pointed out, instead of focusing on the number that the wait time sign or the app says, you're better off just going to the ride and looking at the physical line itself.
We saw you walking back to the park on Disney Way that evening. I was too surprised to say hi at that second but "Hi Traver!!" Thanks for helping us with all your great content.
We are from out of state and go to Disneyland/DCA almost every year on Christmas break. We will be coming this year a couple of days after Christmas. We have been pretty lucky with rain over the years, but the last couple of years it rained more. While not always ideal, it’s doable at Disneyland/DCA moreso than other non disney parks especially if you have a multi day ticket/parkhopper. One night last year it rained and we just stayed in a couple of areas and got on a bunch of rides. Most were walkons. I think time of day makes a difference too. Thanks for an awesome video 😊
Honestly a great video, never expected a rain day at Disneyland, interesting to see the impact on lines and vibes. At least at WDW you expect and prepare for rain
Thanks for the update! I miss Disneyland 😢 this will be our longest stretch of the year without going November to February! We did book Great wolf lodge (NorCal) and Disney on ice so there are some in between things.
Omg I actually laughed out loud at your story about riding Autopia in the rain at WDW 💀😭 I’m sorry bc it sounds awful, but trying to open an umbrella mid-ride is just the perfect balance of reasonable and unhinged to be hilarious 😂😂
Hi Trevor! Thank you so much for all your videos. I've been watching, and studying them and we are finally flying there in 2 days! I hope I'm prepared enough😅. It'd be so cool if we can bump into you too!
Hi Traver, we were there the same day and actually see ourselves on your video after exiting Tiana's! lol The ride halted right before going up for the drop and we all had to be escorted off the ride. Maybe it was providential as our 7-yo was very apprehensive about the drop. That day they cancelled both parade times, it was interesting. :D Hope to see you next time!
We survived today! I have nothing really to compare it to… but it felt very busy. We rope dropped Fantasyland next to Tomorrowland. Had LLMP, took a break midday, and got back until closing!

Hi Trevor! I’m going to Disneyland on January 6th, the last day of the Holiday season. How busy do you think it might be that day? Do you think I will need to get a Lightning Lane Pass?
Im expecting crowds, but hoping it’s a little less for me since I’ll only be there on the weekdays next week. No weekends at the theme park for me at all lol.
Crowded. One would think that people would be home with the family on holidays, but many have made it a tradition to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving and Easter at Disneyland now.
Unrelated question: Since Haunted Mansion is no longer using a virtual queue, how does your rope drop strategy differ from your usual one? I know you usually ride space first but recommend doing HM first during the holidays. Would doing pirates/indiana jones be the route to go from there?
@@xTheOnlyExceptionx I do recommend going to Haunted Mansion first as it gets 45+ minute waits during the holiday version. Case in point, as I type this, Haunted Mansion is 50 minutes, while Space Mountain is only 40 minutes. So Haunted is definitely the more desirable ride. I’d head to either Indiana Jones or Big Thunder (provided you’re visiting after the 13th) after since both are nearby.
You southern californians in a sprinkle thinking you will melt...haha just poking fun! We live in Southwest Washington and 60deg with a sprinkle id be in a t-shirt. Again just giving ya'll a bad time but dont mean anything by it.
Traver you forgot 2 other types of people; those of us having Disney withdrawals and those of us who just like to support you. ❤
I love that I am all 3 types of the people who love this type of video 😂
I'm the type that will be in the crazy crowds in two weeks!!
I'm looking forward to a rainy disney day next year✨️

Im going Friday im so excited for them first time 😍😍
I'm looking to visit for Christmas next year. This is so helpful to manage expectations.

Just letting you know. His name is Traver 😀
I’ll be there tomorrow!! Hopefully it’s not busy this week!
thanks for sharing❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
I’m in the third group of people you described who watch these crowd update videos…I don’t have a trip planned; I’m just nosy 😂

@@mama-at-home That sounds like a very good day!
Question. Is it usually packed the week before Christmas? Going on surprise! Going next Thursday, Fri and Sat. I know there’s supposed to be rain Sat
👍

Watch out for Chris the snake Provost. Not everything is as it seems!
What are the rides consistently with the shortest wait times
We are going on Christmas Day. What do you think the crowds will look like that day?
Crowded. One would think that people would be home with the family on holidays, but many have made it a tradition to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving and Easter at Disneyland now.
It's crowded every single day at Disneyland. Every, single, day.
@Coast2Coast88 it's not. You just need to know when to go.
Christmas Day is a nightmare. We did it last year. Never again. 😮
@@Coast2Coast88you’re nuts. Because that’s definitely not the case.
