My f2p wanderer with poorly built c0 faruzan and. C2 Bennett and furina Hits 75k per charged attack he can easily do 100k if I built his supports and better artifacts. Xaio getting. 2 best support for him is very good. I hope madame ping would be a great buffer for wanderer.
Being truly honest, I never had Xiao, and do not intend to get him, for I DISPISE burst reliant units with a bigger energy problems than the Taylor Joy's eyes width. But I do have Wanderer, and his gameplay is far more fluid.
For me if we have xinyan, xiao is better, but if we don't have it and we have faruzan c6 Scaramouche is better. But in any case I prefer scara because he's soooo useful in open world

i think wanderer have more artifact choices than xiao though? they both can use 2pc 2pc of either anemo dmg or atk% so i won't talk about that, but pre c2 wanderer can use shimenawa if you don't want to farm for his BiS. he can also use MH if you're using him with furina. at c6 echoes of the offering is significantly better than DPC. and you already mentioned how he can play as an anemo driver with VV set too.

This calculation doesn’t count the stack damage that wanderer have from bis and the attack speed that he get a lot from artifacts, bis, C1c team mates. When you add all of these factors, wanderer scales way higher than xiao who have no way to increase the jumping speed. The fact is wanderer is used much more than Xiao in abyss and he clear a lot faster.

You aren’t limited to 5 star chars/c6 Faruzan, even tho she’s great w both. At c0 Xiao has ER issues. Wanderer has an edge in exploration, too! Both have unique exploration skills, but Wanderer’s has its own skill-specific “stamina” bar like Yelan’s/Xianyun’s, so you can alternate between flying & sprinting. It cuts down exploration time by a lot, & helps you reach high/difficult places!

Xiao is my most favourite character in the entire game so i choose xiao, i really like xiao's playstyle and his background story as well, but wanderer is a very fun character to play too, so they're both really good.

Yeah Xiaos f2p weapons are literally nonexistent. The only thing you can use is the white tassel for crit rate and its a 3* weapon with an almost useless pssive and 375 base atk💀.

Now, this is a really difficult question. Xiao and Wanderer are extremely different characters with very distinct agendas. Xiao is a formidable dps character that can inflict enormous damage because to his high critical numbers and potent skills. ...whereas Wanderer is a diverse yet specialized support character capable of providing buffs, debuffs, and crowd control while doing good damage.

As you proved, Xiao does do more damage than Wanderer. However, I'd want to stress out that his damage output is heavily reliant on his burst, which is only available once every 20 seconds. Wanderer, on the other hand, may use his normal and charged strikes to deal prolonged damage and maintain crowd control. So, while Xiao may inflict more damage in a shorter amount of time, he is far more adaptable and consistent in combat.
i main both but personally artifact wise wanderer has more options than xiao, wanderer can use 4 pc shimenawa too specially at c0 or echoes if you kinda wanna cope, and again 4 pc vv is you run taser team also shimenawa is more resin efficient since many characters can use eosf
I wouldnt recommend using echoes I tried my top 1% Ayatos set on wanderer and my 4pc DPC did way more damage with way worse stats. The set bonus only works on normal attacks aswell so unless u really have to cope like you said you should forget throwing echoes on him.
@@thegurlama7356 yeah i know that, i used to use echoes when wanderer just came out, since i’ve been farming for xiao for much longer, so i had spare echoes, (shime outdamages echoes too) but at c0 it’s fine, usable as long as you have stable ping, dpc will outdamage echoes since dpc is literally made for wanderer and is his bis, i’m just stating that wanderer has many more options than xiao, echoes just came as a cope artifact if you have xiao to farm for too, it’s not like f2p has many options to use their resin on and they will most likely choose what is more efficient since you don’t really want to waste farming for dpc, specially if you don’t have anyone to use paradise on, its a waste coming from someone who is still farming dpc, at the end of the day as long as you can clear the game content with okay builds, it’s fine, not everyone is competitive and perfects their builds.
Just got Xiao. Both of them are good if you have c6 Faruzan, no need to compare. Just get both of them 😂 P.s. Wanderer has more flexible teams (And has more powerful constellations). Xiao has more powerful premium team (Furina, c6 faru and xianyun)
Xiao and Wanderer are very comparable as an anemo hypercarry Both have cons and pros Before discussing deeply, wanderer has a pro over xiao that he is useful in exploration Now for the damage, xiao has a higher scaling but is weaker at the base level, he needs a lot of ER, a good crit ratio, good weapons (preferably his BiS) and good team mates As for wanderer, he is a lot more forgiving in his crit ratio and his weapon stats, heck you can use the almighty widsith, also the infusion gained by wanderer in his E state is something not to joke about, so he is a lot more forgiving in team comps as well. Point to note - both need a faruzan, preferably c6 atleast c4 to function properly as DPS's For the average casual gamer, wanderer is undoubtedly the better choice as he is easier to build, easier to use, forgiving team comps and exploration bonus. As for xiao, if you can somehow manage to get his BiS and some cons and his preferred team mates (c6 faruzan highly recommended) xiao will always out class wanderer in AOE damage and be the same as wanderer in Single target damage. Also, point to note, for xiao you need a healer as his burst takes away his HP, which isn't needed for wanderer All In all, xiao is undoubtedly the better DPS if build to max potential but as a casual/F2P player, wanderer wins. as a person that had a c4 faruzan for the longest time the fact that scara didnt have to reliably burst was a huge advantage
both of them are fantastic and actually fun, though I do enjoy wanderer more because of the flight and the whole long range shenanigans
People say Xiao is better now with Xianyun, however you could just get Scaras c1 / c2 which imo is more worth it specially with his huge burst damage.

Yeah Xiaos f2p weapons are literally nonexistent. The only thing you can use is the white tassel for crit rate and its a 3* weapon with an almost useless pssive and 375 base atk💀.

Xiao is a formidable dps character that can inflict enormous damage because to his high critical numbers and potent skills.
...whereas Wanderer is a diverse yet specialized support character capable of providing buffs, debuffs, and crowd control while doing good damage.

As you proved, Xiao does do more damage than Wanderer. However, I'd want to stress out that his damage output is heavily reliant on his burst, which is only available once every 20 seconds.
Wanderer, on the other hand, may use his normal and charged strikes to deal prolonged damage and maintain crowd control. So, while Xiao may inflict more damage in a shorter amount of time, he is far more adaptable and consistent in combat.

i main both but personally artifact wise wanderer has more options than xiao, wanderer can use 4 pc shimenawa too specially at c0 or echoes if you kinda wanna cope, and again 4 pc vv is you run taser team also shimenawa is more resin efficient since many characters can use eosf
I wouldnt recommend using echoes I tried my top 1% Ayatos set on wanderer and my 4pc DPC did way more damage with way worse stats. The set bonus only works on normal attacks aswell so unless u really have to cope like you said you should forget throwing echoes on him.
@@thegurlama7356 yeah i know that, i used to use echoes when wanderer just came out, since i’ve been farming for xiao for much longer, so i had spare echoes, (shime outdamages echoes too) but at c0 it’s fine, usable as long as you have stable ping, dpc will outdamage echoes since dpc is literally made for wanderer and is his bis, i’m just stating that wanderer has many more options than xiao, echoes just came as a cope artifact if you have xiao to farm for too, it’s not like f2p has many options to use their resin on and they will most likely choose what is more efficient since you don’t really want to waste farming for dpc, specially if you don’t have anyone to use paradise on, its a waste coming from someone who is still farming dpc, at the end of the day as long as you can clear the game content with okay builds, it’s fine, not everyone is competitive and perfects their builds.

Before discussing deeply, wanderer has a pro over xiao that he is useful in exploration
Now for the damage, xiao has a higher scaling but is weaker at the base level, he needs a lot of ER, a good crit ratio, good weapons (preferably his BiS) and good team mates
As for wanderer, he is a lot more forgiving in his crit ratio and his weapon stats, heck you can use the almighty widsith, also the infusion gained by wanderer in his E state is something not to joke about, so he is a lot more forgiving in team comps as well.
Point to note - both need a faruzan, preferably c6 atleast c4 to function properly as DPS's
For the average casual gamer, wanderer is undoubtedly the better choice as he is easier to build, easier to use, forgiving team comps and exploration bonus.
As for xiao, if you can somehow manage to get his BiS and some cons and his preferred team mates (c6 faruzan highly recommended) xiao will always out class wanderer in AOE damage and be the same as wanderer in Single target damage.
Also, point to note, for xiao you need a healer as his burst takes away his HP, which isn't needed for wanderer
All In all, xiao is undoubtedly the better DPS if build to max potential but as a casual/F2P player, wanderer wins.
But the difference isn't huge and you should pick whatever character you like.
