Apparently recently ANA brought GEnx 787 too, on their new -9 and -10 So now ANA has both Trent 1000 and GEnx 787. Which is pretty cool. I wonder what was the reason they starting to switch. I learned this the other day during plane spotting. I saw 787 ANA with GE logo on their engines. I was so confused 😅
Thank u for watching! I think it's a risk hedge in case something to wrong with the engine. Personally, I think this is due to the fact that the RR's engine had problems several times.
