Quick thought: When you have a creature with double strike the triggers that happen when damage is dealt triggers twice "sword of feast and famine😉" meaning that when Wyleth connects with first strike damage you can untap your mana from the feast and famine, retain priority and cast instants/instant speed effects, the untap your lands again from the double strike damage trigger. You may already know this but just wanted to let people know in case they didn't. Awesome vid and my Wyleth deck is one of my favorites 😁
I went in another direction with my version. I use Wyleth's card draw to grab a boros recconor effect and equip his sunsteel to go infinite ping. Ofc the creature needs indestructable but in boros that's like pocket change
I personally like running Akiri more than Wyleth. I think Wyleth has a higher power ceiling, but it is more open to being blown out and it also makes you more of a target. Akiri also has built in protection which I like. My build has a lot of hatebears to slow opponents down, so people tend to remove those creatures instead of Akiri. Love your channel btw! Awesome video as always.
Great insight @Arthur Hasted. I usually think of Boros as aggro and never thought of using Akiri with hatebears, that's a pretty neat idea. I added a lot of protection to the deck to hopefully keep Wyleth alive longer. I feel like most commanders are must kills in the new era of Wizard's infinite legendary creatures will walls of texts era. Thanks for the support!
I'd suggest godsend, underrated card for commander, it's really good in this deck because wyleth has temple so if they block with 1 creature you're exiling it and hitting full
Great version. Have you gave armory automation a thought. When your running that good equipment, wyleth will get targeted fast and if you can tutor or have armory in your hand it’s a quick back up plan that gets you back in action. Magnetic theft is also a good card to cheat high cost and fast equips
I did consider it, it's just hard to find room for everything, but after reading your comment, I think it's right to have Armory Automation in the deck.
@streetsurfer24. I have a friend that plays Rograkth and Ardenn partners. It's a pretty fun deck. I generally think any deck with Rograkth is really fun, you can't go wrong with him. 😅
you played commander without having protection ready, am I right? also you told to find weakest player while Inhave read that voltron should enter when younhave protection ready and you should eliminate biggest player threat first. It's quite $$$ build. congrats. I can't afford such thing yet :) There are plenty of things that fits here. Bruenor Battlehammer gives sick attack boost and 1 free equip per turn. silent arbiter, windborn muse or ghostly prison will slow down the opponents. Also I suggest some red double battle effects, and more unblockable effects like trailblazers boots or some white auras with protection from creatures. I am not sure if I saw some reliquary tower or thought vessel, they are mandatory with such massive card draw. Me myself have too many good options and I struggle to limit.them to 100 :) thank you for vid it was useful
Wyleth is better than akiri no question. Here is my argument to support the claim: Wyleth only needs 4 cards (wyleth and 3 equip) to draw 3 cards while akiri needs 6 cards (3 pairs of creature with equip) to draw the same number of cards. Same cards drawn but wyleth does it faster in terms of turns and cheaper in terms of mana cost and requires fewer resources. It is also easier to build beacuse there is clear direction to equip everything on wyleth, protect him and swing.
Three suggestions: Sun Titan, Halvar, and Sword of Hearth and Home. Sun Titan can get Wyleth, or most of your equipment back if needed, plus Combines with your fetches for ramp. Halvar either gives double strike and auto equips, or the equipment side will protect Wyleth. Hearth and Home ramps plus Combines with any Etb effect.
Sword of Hearth and Home,(SHH) while a really good card actually isn't that good with how his deck is built. The issue is that his alot of his equipment and auras are white, so once he equips SHH, the auras and equipment will "fall off." It also will prevent Ardeen (along with any other white permanent) from targeting Wyleth. That is why I don't run any colored equipment in my Wyleth deck. Instead, I went with all Swords of X and Y. It's not as explosive, but it gives a much more staying power, especially when combined with the tutors and equipment search in Boros.

@Aqublue3dsi, that sounds like a sweet combo, I love Boros Reckoner tricks.
Honestly, when you tapped Wayleth that sounded exactly like the hit marker fps meme
@Lazersification if does😂, I had to look that one up!

@@vex_mtg that’s very true! With nearly all commanders being kill on site now, some of them are bound to survive on the board!
Whisper silk cloak is also a really good one!
@Freddy Inferno2, indeed it is, I'm just scared from it not being as useful in my Yuriko deck, but I'll have to give it another try.
I'd suggest godsend, underrated card for commander, it's really good in this deck because wyleth has temple so if they block with 1 creature you're exiling it and hitting full
@Chris Kyger, the Godsend is a really neat idea, thanks for the recommendation! 👍

This was a nice one learned loads haha. I use Rograkth & Ardenn for my Boros equipment deck

@@vex_mtg yes. has been very fun :))

26:25 You played the skycat but forgot to search.
I do admit I make misplays on camera.
what does everyone think about Kol, The forgemaster, Heiko Yamazaki and Cloudsteel Kirin?
I think they are all fine inclusions, you can always just try them out.
Finally found a good list, similar to mine
Thanks @Marcin!

I totally agree @Xantcha Sleeper.
Quite an expensive deck. But great picks!
Thanks
hi, i am really interested in that sram deck!
@Emanuel Heinzmann, I'm still getting the last few cards for it, I'll see if I can squeeze it in between all of the set releases.

Again, thank you @TripleTrouble for your support. (I guess you turned Twin into Triple).
Too many creatures,
@chris bayer, I like to have extra creatures just in case my commander is killed too many times.
