You were on the right track. One can actually take out the driver bij freeing from tabs. It's a bit fidly, but you have to spred apart 2 of the 4 tabs and then the driver pops loose. Once you've done it succesfully, you 'll get the hang of it and can pop them in no time.

Hey, I got my first Sennheisers HD560s and while I was admiring those I "accidentally" touched and pushed *lightly* with index finger on middle of that round plastic part over diaphgram, Im asking that is that hole big enough that finger actually reach diaphgram and damage it? Can't tell obviously is there anything wrong since did that first day.. damn :D

that's not a model I have so I can't say with certainty. HOWEVER my HD600 and my old HD450BT both had similar versions of that little circular guard feature over the diaphragm and both had enough of a gap that you couldn't really do any damage to the diaphragm without damaging that guard noticeably first. I would bet that yours are fine, especially if that side doesn't sound different or anything. I m not a doctor though.

@@morgaboy01189 Yeah, HD560 structure is almost like HD600. I might be neurotic, but can you actually hit/touch diaphragm thru that circular guard on a finger, not nail ofc?
Great video by the way, there is actually time to see things and in different angles too + got some perspective how big things are.
My OCD sure got some gas and it was hard to find pictures/video that show that gap between guard and diaphragm. HD560s disassembly seems to be harder than HD600/6XX and reassembly can be difficult.

@@Tomijee the guard looks like it's specifically designed to keep human fingers out. I wouldn't worry too much unless you got a tool after it. thanks, I'm doing my best to show the anatomy of these devices as best I can. your statement bout the 560S has me considering getting ahold of one and doing an episode for the science.
