Just to answer a few questions at once. Yep im Australian living in Japan. It is a slip on. Cost about $400 US I think it was. It is super loud without the supplied baffle. With the baffle in it still sounds good, just a little quieter and better to live with for a daily ride without pissing everyone off. I dont have the bike anymore. Had to sell it as I have to carry lots of camera gear around everyday for work. It was super fun and I miss it. I'll get another bike sooner or later.
I just bought a used 2009 250r and the previous owner (who was also the original owner) had this exact one installed but with a polished metal (chrome or aluminum not sure) outer cover. After hearing your stock exhaust I’m so glad he put this new one on!
I kept going back and forth on what would be an ideal first sport bike that I could start doing track days....This video with the exhaust pretty much concreted the decision. 2011 all black kawa 250R with Yosh FTW
love the sound. i just bought one! I'm sticking with my ninja 250 for life... tried some bigger bikes and it gets wayy too tempting to go crazy... the ninja 250 holds you back from being crazy... going to start doing stuff to my bike this summer
Realmente MUY MUY LINDA... Felicitaciones y Saludos!
No problem at all. I don't notice any real change in millage. Perhaps a little snappier with power performance but nothing incredible. Although this is only a slip on. Im sure with the full pipes and exhaust change it would be noticeable. Mostly for looks and sound.
It's good to have loud pipe for a better sound and also so other road users can hear you. I have got a CBR250RR with a screaming demon exhaust and everybody can hear me. Don't mean to brag but if they can me then I feel safer already.
Full exhausts give more power but require the bikes jets to be changed. If you just want the sound and look go with a slip-on, but if you want the pipe for power go with the full exhaust.
@kingkonghouse ABS is a 2 or 4 wheel system that prevents the wheel from locking up automatically, during an emergency stop by regulating the brake pressure :)
Can't wait to get my bike in a month I'm getting that Ninja 250r too in green, I'll have to buy that exhaust too, I think you can get them for like 300$ now.
lol no problem. the reason i said anything in the first place is because i own a ninja 250. i was looking for a cheaper slip on, but these are too expensive lol.
There's a higher percentage power gain putting an exhaust on a 250 vs a 600 or above. So if anything it makes more sense to put one on a 250, not to mention they sound great! UA-cam videos don't do justice to how low they sound.
I have been wanting a 250r because it is excellent for beginners. Which I am. I wasn't impressed with the cosmetics. They have stepped it up. I can't wait to get it now!
Might be buying a 250r soon grandparents are kinda iffy because my dad wrecked his when he was little but they said as long as I dont act stupid, and show off and always wear my helmet they said I can get one. Tell me how do you like your 250r?
@israellupine they are fuel injected in a few countries where it can't pass emissions with carbs. I didn't see the choke lever on the handlebar so it probably is fuel injected.
No wonder once i was out the house and heard a subaru on the other side revving and all and so went to check it out, before i arrived there it was turned off but didnt see any Subaru but a bike. makes sense from this exhaust lol, cool though like it
@doksik Wel thanks a lot for the tip!! People on ebay are trying to charge over $100 more because they actually put that it fits the 2011 model^^ what jerks huh? It sounds amazing...but $300 for a muffler tip seems a little high. Maybe if it was a full exhaust system I'd buy it! oh and btw...somebody commented earlier about your fuel injector...I am pretty sure the American Version is not fuel injected :(
nice imma get ma first bike the same one but i looked into things to make it nicer like wide tire, exhaust , ect, ect but i keep hearing that once i get use to the 250 imma wanna die to get a 600..
the yoshi sounds almost identical to my stock exhaust with the first baffle separator drilled out from the tip. better, but sure as hell not worth the money considering performance is irrelevant.
WOAH!!!!!! SOUND LIKE SUPERCAR!!!! FERARRIS OR LAMBORGINI V8 AMERICA!!!! LIKE V16 SOUND!!! 300HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BEST SOUND IN AMERICA RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!
@doksik Are you sure it fuel injected because they didn't used to be and I'm not aware that's changed. The CBR and Hyosung are but ninjas not I think. And I think you mean 55,000 yen lol. Otherwise the pipe costs more than the bike!
and you can state yours too :) im assuming your counter argument is slip on exhausts are a waste of money? i think you should spend your money on what you want :)
hi fallows , I want to put a yoshi slip on on my ninja 250r , is it necessary to jet the bike? i don ride fast I only cruise around and want that sweet yoshi sound
hey im looking at getting the 250r pearl white in a month here in california.....im goign to put a yoshimura trc slip on like yours, just curious on what your overall feel and like of it is!?!? any pros and cons people?? Also i heard something about a "BAFFLE OUT" . . . . i saw some videos and the sound is amazing......how do you do the baffle out and where is it located!?!? please any bikers out here help!!! thanks again.!! god bless!
You might know how to answer this but i'm 17 and getting a bike soon but my father (who's had past experience) thinks i should get a gsxr-600 and i honestly think it would be to big of a bike for me, i'm not a huge kid but i was thinking a ninja 250r. I'm a quick learner but i'm more worried about weight and being able to keep it balanced.
a brand new 2011 is $4000.. if i were you i would get a 2011, both models are practically the same and you save extra money for gear and a better exhaust. Just my opinion though thats what i think im aiming for. i only got about $2000 saved though lol lucky you.
Love the new sound to that man!
Vast improvement. I'm amazed at how quiet they are stock.

bakachikun Same
Lol just went to a '09 ninja 250 from a cb919 turbocharged for the same reason. Too much temptation to be like "uh... who's gonna stop me? A jet? Lol
quick question mate. Does it increase the mpg changing from stock to yoshimura?
@@AndresAndreaTV No, if anything it might decrease slightly but the focus when you buy a slip-on exhaust is sound not mpg!
Much, much better sound. Thanks for the vid.
UA-cam algorithm brought me back to your after almost 9 years
haha holly cow. Well welcome back!
Thanks everyone for the interest in the video! If I had of known it was going to be this popular I would have filmed it better.
Can you tell me what exhast is this guy using ??m.ua-cam.com/video/tkj1ved3Bho/v-deo.html
quick question mate. Does it increase the mpg changing from stock to yoshimura?
The best part of the video is the random fear factory at the end, definitely took me by surprise
I'm getting this exact bike in a couple months and I'm SO excited to put my own yoshi exhaust on it :D
Realmente MUY MUY LINDA... Felicitaciones y Saludos!
I used to be stationed in Futenma and miss it. Also love yoshimura Exhausts. 😁🏍👍 Make sure to visit 宮古島
Nice! I used to work at Futenma sometimes. Yes I love Miyako. Used to work there too. Beautiful!
No problem at all. I don't notice any real change in millage. Perhaps a little snappier with power performance but nothing incredible. Although this is only a slip on. Im sure with the full pipes and exhaust change it would be noticeable. Mostly for looks and sound.

- i think im gonna get one Ninja 250r and Yoshi ex. after seeing this.
safe ride dude !
I have this bike, it’s my daily and I love it! Splitting lanes is amazing
That actually sounds great for a 250
This bike is my love
Its a great bike. Tons of fun!
leaps and bounds of difference, sounds so much better
The Sound is just gorgeous!!!

sorry for late reply. Yes just Yoshi Slip on. Nothing else. Its for sale now!
it's also safer to have a louder exhaust, as car drivers will be more aware of you.
@kingkonghouse ABS is a 2 or 4 wheel system that prevents the wheel from locking up automatically, during an emergency stop by regulating the brake pressure :)

Props for playing Fear Factory in your video!! Nice.
lol no problem. the reason i said anything in the first place is because i own a ninja 250. i was looking for a cheaper slip on, but these are too expensive lol.
Sounds great ! Way better than the stock one

@robthatguyx many people choose a 250 because it is a smaller bike aimed at beginners, thus since it is smaller it allows the rider more control :)
Outside of America this bike is fuel injected. Inside the states its carbureted.
hey dude, very nice bike, but a little tip is maybe try to wait for the fuel injection to finish before starting the engine :P
I have been wanting a 250r because it is excellent for beginners. Which I am. I wasn't impressed with the cosmetics. They have stepped it up. I can't wait to get it now!
Thanks a lot!, now, the exhaust looks sounds beautiful!!!
Nice sound with that Yosi exhaust.
Sweet ..guyz it sounds less in video but whn u hear it in real ull b in love wit it
this is exactly what I want. Did you have to buy new fairing or did it originally come in all black?
Might be buying a 250r soon grandparents are kinda iffy because my dad wrecked his when he was little but they said as long as I dont act stupid, and show off and always wear my helmet they said I can get one. Tell me how do you like your 250r?
Hey could you do a full review of this bike? I'm getting one soon and there are no reviews of it anywhere!
@israellupine they are fuel injected in a few countries where it can't pass emissions with carbs. I didn't see the choke lever on the handlebar so it probably is fuel injected.
Second exhaust sounds really good :)
Yeah great video ! Thank you so much, i make my choice now ! Yoshimura's exhaust sounds so greaat !
I wanna get into bikes, and this is definitely gonna be my first bike
Vast improvement my fellow rider
My honda cbr 125r 06 sound’s same as that bike with my Devil’s Exhaust
No wonder once i was out the house and heard a subaru on the other side revving and all and so went to check it out, before i arrived there it was turned off but didnt see any Subaru but a bike. makes sense from this exhaust lol, cool though like it
@imbadar it does have one, its on the right hand side, you only see a glimpse of it in this video
does the ninja use unequal length headers? sounds a bit like a subaru :)
very nice. is this the carbon slip on?
sounds awesome mate!!
hey, do you feel the diference with the yoshimura exaust??? the noise is higher? the power is better???
Beautiful sound for a 250cc engine.
once you've listened to the sound of a cbr 250rr,,,,,you can't go back....
ERNIE YU until you hear a Gixxer.
+Sheldon Summers and then comes kawasaki and aprilia
I prefer 2strokes sounds..
fiuuuu ducati comes
Whatever... to each his own! I dont even have a bike lol
Wow really changes the 250 from a dirt bike to an actual bike
@artsygan ninja 250 has carburetor not fuel injection you can start it up right away.
@doksik Wel thanks a lot for the tip!! People on ebay are trying to charge over $100 more because they actually put that it fits the 2011 model^^ what jerks huh?
It sounds amazing...but $300 for a muffler tip seems a little high. Maybe if it was a full exhaust system I'd buy it!
oh and btw...somebody commented earlier about your fuel injector...I am pretty sure the American Version is not fuel injected :(
That sounds sick. How much did the exhaust cost?
nice imma get ma first bike the same one but i looked into things to make it nicer like wide tire, exhaust , ect, ect but i keep hearing that once i get use to the 250 imma wanna die to get a 600..
@doksik Awesome. I'm debating whether or not to get it for my Ninja. Love the sound. Thanks for letting me know.
the yoshi sounds almost identical to my stock exhaust with the first baffle separator drilled out from the tip. better, but sure as hell not worth the money considering performance is irrelevant.
how did you do it mate ?
WOAH!!!!!! SOUND LIKE SUPERCAR!!!! FERARRIS OR LAMBORGINI V8 AMERICA!!!! LIKE V16 SOUND!!! 300HP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BEST SOUND IN AMERICA RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!! SO GOOD!!!!!
There are 4 lights, Oil pressure, neutral, high beam and turn signal.
I don't know what FI light you're talking about. I know, I had a ninja 250r.
Does the carbon fiber slip on get as hot on the outside as the stock? Also, how long of an install and was it easy?
@doksik how much was that exhaust? sounds like a sports car, pretty sick
Your Ninja has white gauges. Did you modify it yourself? As far as I know only the pearl white Ninjas has the white colour dash board?
carbed in USA/Canada and Australia
Fuel injected in Europe and Asia
Vast improvement!
Do you know if there is a change of sound & Rpm comparing the full exhaust with the slip on? Thanks!
didnt this bike used to have a gsxr exhaust on it? i remember seeing pics of a bike with oakly stickers and a gsxr exhaust..
have you changed out the sprockets and chain yet if so what did you replace them with
It's so cold in Europe you need a thermometer to know how bad your hypothermia is after a ride.
@doksik Are you sure it fuel injected because they didn't used to be and I'm not aware that's changed. The CBR and Hyosung are but ninjas not I think. And I think you mean 55,000 yen lol. Otherwise the pipe costs more than the bike!
@doksik the whole light when your running out of gas thing, unless it warns you when u have like a half a gallon left or something
Where did you get those Oakley stickers from? Everything I own is Oakley... Why not put it on my bike too! Looks nice.
Is the injection bit when he turns the key, kind of electronic noise?
ill check em up. thanks :) will they work on 2002 models?
im thinking about getting a 250 sound good with the new exhaust. how much did you get this bike for?
Sorry for my noob question but is there is an improvement on gas or performance with this after market exhaust?
And that is just a slip on? Or replaced the whole pipe?
does this exhaust fit on every Ninja 250r?
and you can state yours too :) im assuming your counter argument is slip on exhausts are a waste of money? i think you should spend your money on what you want :)
hi fallows , I want to put a yoshi slip on on my ninja 250r , is it necessary to jet the bike?
i don ride fast I only cruise around and want that sweet yoshi sound
whats the different between a slip on and a full exhausts does it make a different in the sound ?
i have a question.can we use the slip on a stock exhaust system? do we just take the stock one off and put the slip on in?
hey im looking at getting the 250r pearl white in a month here in california.....im goign to put a yoshimura trc slip on like yours, just curious on what your overall feel and like of it is!?!? any pros and cons people??
Also i heard something about a "BAFFLE OUT" . . . . i saw some videos and the sound is amazing......how do you do the baffle out and where is it located!?!? please any bikers out here help!!! thanks again.!! god bless!
I would never add anything to a 250, but damn this sounds nice
No dejes el casco en el suelo!!! Muy buena quedo con el yoshimura!!
Overall which year product is the best from the ninja 250r??
Is that the fuel injected ninja? Would there be much difference with the sound if i get the stainless steel yoshimura exhaust?
Can you install these at home or do you have to go to a bike shop? Thanks!
Do you notice a difference in speed?
Press 3 and 7 to hear the difference.
Any idea what hp your running? I got a 250 ninja with a slip on yoshimura and was just trying to figure out a rough go output
Nah sorry. Haven’t had this bike now for 10 years or so. Loved it though.
purrrrttttyyyyy can you only purchase that in china or japan wherever you are? or could i order this ??
Where did you buy that awsome yoshimura exhaust ? :D
You might know how to answer this but i'm 17 and getting a bike soon but my father (who's had past experience) thinks i should get a gsxr-600 and i honestly think it would be to big of a bike for me, i'm not a huge kid but i was thinking a ninja 250r. So how's life now
@@keronge we're all waiting with bated breath
if you install the full pipe and head it boosts about 5 horse power. :)

Are those slip ons as easy to install as the name implies?
