My Spinal Tap story...We had this sorta acid-rock revival band in the early 80's and were invited to play somebody's birthday party...This was, if not the first, only our second or third real gig...We did a cover of The Who's "My Generation"...Badly...We had this old crappy Pan copy of a Les Paul someone had lent us, from his dad, no less...I had this idea: "It would be really cool if our lead guitarist switched over to this guitar for that song, then, at the climax, smashed it on stage!" I swear, we were loading out, and the guy who lent us this guitar showed up at the last minute to wish us good luck: "Hey man, do you remember that Pan guitar of my dad's? He's been asking about it"...We pretended we didn't know what had happened to it, while we hid it under the cover of a tarp in the bed of a truck...Turns out the gig is in the middle of some East Texas piney woods, with an improvised stage, and all power running through one exetension cord run over our heads...We get to the crucial moment, the lead guitar player dramatically raises the Pan over his head to tomahawk it to the stage, catches the extension cord, and immediately kills all power: light, sound, everything...He did a good job smashing it, but nobody could see it...I think we encored with some acoustic Neil Young...Heh...
Love all of these guys, but what where is Don Felder's interview? I wanted to hear from him. The 1970s as a kid: 1971: Jonathan Edwards - Sunshine; 1973: The Eagles; 1974: Styx; 1977: Foreigner.
@@TontoEpstein Nah, the voice is Lou Grahm. When I was in college, and playing rock star in the 1990s, I could sing exactly like him. I love singing Foreigner songs, one of my fav bands.
Personally, the biggest Spinal Tap moment for me is when Foreigner makes concert appearances with literally nobody that originally played in Foreigner.
HEAD games, thur ya go! hahaha Was that a prank? Climbing out of the dead from the dry ice to create Thriller. Juke Box Hero promo, you can see the scuffed knee? Oh dear :)
Always interesting to see members of different famous bands interacting with each other off stage. Thanks for posting :)

Why they are musicians and not comedians. I guess you had to be there.

Really? I thought Johnny Edwards is the voice of Foreigner.

Mick Jones is literally an original member of Foreigner that still tours with the band.
@@Bsmiley333 Umm...there have been shows when Jones didn't bother showing up.
@@TontoEpstein this is true because I believe he was recovered from some kind of surgery.

Their best album.
Kelly Hansen is Steven Tyler's doppelganger. Seriosly!
I agree!
Totally. Bring Lou back.
He thinks he is funny, he is not.
These other 2 posers aren’t part of journey or Styx please
😂😂😂😂
Scale back the Botox, Tommy! It is waaay overdone!!!
No it's not!!!
No, not if frozen, waxy foreheads are your thing.
Of course, in a month's time, he'll look great!
i dont think he looks frozen or plastic like some of the other famous people do
He has not done any of that. Tommy still sounds like he did 35 years ago, love that guy!
