This is so true. I spent all my life searching, I was a sinner and prayed often. I started reading God's word daily a couple of years ago, I started to pray deeply and still do. Last year I was transformed. Those who knew me do not recognise me. I have given my life to God. I am now a born again Christian. Never give up, keeping seeking the Lord, he is listening to you.

Sometimes I think I've done it, then the thoughts (the devils weapon is my thoughts, reminding me of the evil the person puts me through), then im back needing to forgive. Its a journey, I am trying my level best to be a good child of GOD.
Just open your Bible and fall absolutely in love with Him! Once you love Him truly, you won’t desire sin. So don’t start with your sin, start loving God!
Faith without works James 2 passage is in the context of discipleship and not salvation, its a contradiction to say "we are not saved by works, "BUT" faith without works is dead (if what you are referring to by "dead" = no salvation. , you are conflating two scriptures contexts and confusing babes in Christ, the simplicity of the gospel is simple and Paul warned the churches to not be stumbled by false doctrine and those who try and mix law and grace together. Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel is the same today as it was 2000 years ago and it will never change, we are justified by GRACE alone through FAITH alone in CHRIST alone.
Amen, James is clearly speaking about practical Justification, faith in what the Word instructs us in matters of discipleship, and growth, where Paul in Romans 4 is speaking of Positional Justification that is by faith alone in Christ!! I fully agree with that statement. He has the tendency to touch your soul with his words. He calls it like it is and that is how it should be. And after you have struggled and then put those words into our hearts that is when we can say, “I am a true Christian.”
Every time I sin, I get this awful feeling in my heart. I think that is the Lord working in me. I was scared I was going to hell, and I am, but because of Jesus because He died on the cross instead of me I will go to His glory. I'm still barely changed, but It is happening.
Sanctification is a process. The longer you are a Christian, the more God molds you and makes you more like Christ. Pray for this change. Pray that God would continue to mold you, guide you, and help you to repent. Most of all, pray that He would help you to love Him more. Then keep praying for growth in these areas every day for the rest of your life. Take care and God bless.

I’ve never felt comfortable in sin the Lord keep pulling me bk when I was younger I was thinking how come others are doing stuff and felt no way and I can’t I was just so uncomfortable. I give God glory for the Holy Spirit and thank Jesus for coming and giving his life so I can be redeemed.

I was in great sin for decades. I grew up in the church, my dad was even a pastor, but even I needed Jesus. Jesus has turned my life around and now I can’t imagine doing life without Jesus leading the way. Praise God.
I feel this. I thought I was Christian for years. My parents brought me to church. I left. I lived in great sin… I finally truly found Jesus and the changes have been drastic. Things of the world I was once attracted to now repulses me. I can feel Him drawing me closer every day and I thank Him with all my heart for pulling me away from that darkness. @ Mavors read the book of romans and interpret it verse by verse. If it makes no sense to you read the book of John and interpret it verse by verse. If it still seems foolish to you then you may be cursed, and you have much to fear. The Bible says the gospel seems foolish to those who are perishing. Your life and your soul depend on the gospel and how you respond to it. There are only two destinations and only 2 destinies. Look inward in light of the Bible and gospel to see to which you will go. JESUS said you will know them by their fruits! In other words actions speak louder than words. The Bible is either true or false and if it is true their will be evidence. If it is important and true their will be much evidence. If It is true it will be the only religion which will have evidence. Do your own independent research. Look at history, archeology, look at Bible prophecy to see if any of it came true. But the simplest way to know if it is true and to where you are destined is to seek GOD with your whole heart and read his gospel. He promised if you seek him with your whole heart you will find him.

To some this may be scary, but I can say that I'm officially cleansed. This video made me happy and thankful that God has revealed Himself to me. I grew up in a nominally christian home. At the age of 45 I woke up! I became obedient. I have been saved in Christ alone. I was baptised within 34 hours, because God heard my prayer to please organise it!!! God is good!!! God is faithful!!! End of this month I will be "15 years old in Christ "!!, thanks to His grace to me!!!

Paul, a little over 2 years ago I heard this sermon and it started me on a journey back to Christ. I started delving into his word and having a daily personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Thank you reminding me of the truth of his word.
Pastor Paul really brings me assurance in these tough teachings. I mourn over my sin and I so deeply want to be like Jesus for His name sake. I just want to be holy, i hate my sin. This video is amazing & gave me great insight & grounding of the Christian life/style. If what is being said here reflects you primarily in asking yourself ‘Am I being more Christlike & striving to be of God & not the world’ then there is something to savour & be thankful for. Alternatively, if you still seek to crave the attention of the world & the worlds offerings, then that is something to put behind you. Do it now, don’t wait for tomorrow, there may not be a tomorrow. Paul washer is a false teacher. He teaches a false gospel that is universal, potential not actual and conditioned on man .The true gospel is the good news of the Person & work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is concerning who Christ is and what He did to save His elect only. The gospel includes the how and why, which can only be seen by faith. It is a message that declares how the eternal Son of God came down, took on a body of sinless flesh (John 1:14) as He was born of a virgin (Mat 1:23). He was both God & man in one Person. He was born under the Law to keep and fulfill it (Mat 5:18, Gal 4:4). He did that, not for Himself, but for all those He represented because they could not keep it themselves. The word of God calls these people the elect or His sheep, among several other names. His obedient life also included the part of dying. He took on the sin of His people as both a Substitute and Representative of those people. The Bible said He was "made to be sin" (II Cor 5:21) and the way that was done is by God imputing (legally reckoned or charged to the account of) sin to Christ. That means all the sin of all those people God chose was "laid on Him" (Isaiah 53:6). This sin was legally transferred to His account and He then owned it in such a way to be guilty of it all. God the Father poured out His wrath and hatred toward sin on His Son and had pleasure (Isaiah 53:10) in doing so, in that, He was completely satisfied in Christ as a Sacrifice that met all the demands of His strict Law and inflexible justice. Christ finished the work of paying the penalty of the Law and then said " It is finished" (John 19:30). He secured salvation for all God’s chosen people that would even be born. His resurrection is evidence of the acceptance of His sacrifice to the Father. The combined work of His obedience to the Law &His obedience unto death on the cross was considered establishing righteousness. This is what one of the Old Testament prophets prophesied as "bringing in an everlasting righteousness" (Daniel 9:24) as Christ died effectually and exclusively for those chosen of God before the world began (Eph 1:4). I love this message! It’s what’s missing in the modern society called church! I too was a hypocrite lost person thinking I was a Christian, until I repented of my wretched sins and He is changing me daily and I’m not going back. 2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation. This so convicted me, for I've been rather lukewarm in my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Plz brother do not give up because of hard preaching that makes you feel condemned. If you truly believe in Christ and no one can convince you otherwise, then place your trust in him and his work for salvation. Stop looking at your own deeds and remember the one great deed the Lord did for us and trust in that. You WILL be saved. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.” I John 3:6 NKJV I can also prove that it is your sin that is allowing sickness to enter your life. Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.” Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. ANY BELIEVER WHO POSSESSES SIN AND SICKNESS IN THEIR LIFE IS PROVING THAT THEY ARE DECEIVED IN THEIR BELIEFS AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT IN REGARDS TO GOD AND SCRIPTURE. The majority of believers have fallen for the misguided teachings of the many false preachers and religions and they never allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctify their heart in God’s word and truth through testing the Spirits. These believers have no idea what it means to be born again since a child born of God is someone who has learned how to overcome their sin and their afflictions by going through God’s sanctification process. “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” I John 5:18 NKJV “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” I John 3:9 NKJV This is the big difference between a believer who is a Christian and a believer who is deceived. A deceived believer thinks that they will always sin and they will always have sickness in their life. A Christian knows they can never sin nor can they ever get sick since they live their life exactly “like Christ.” Here is what most certainly do not understand. Yes, scripture relates that Jesus was born without sin and that He lived His entire life without sinning so Jesus certainly was the only sinless person. However scripture is definitely not relating that His followers will always sin or that they will always have sickness in their lives. Scripture is actually stating the exact opposite of that utter nonsense and it is relating how the children of God will learn how to overcome their sin and their sicknesses in this lifetime and not the next. Many deceived believers often try to justify their sin and their sicknesses by twisting the meaning of 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. First in Romans 7 Paul is simply relating how he was a sinner until He was freed by knowing Christ and these deceived souls clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6. The other scriptures are simply relating that everyone is born in sin and ignorance and so they are not living righteously and they fall short of the glory of God. They are relating that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. They also relate that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere are they ever stating that a believer will always sin as these children of the devil are foolishly believing. A true child of God can no longer sin and because they do not sin they can never get sick. So the deceived believers who sin often try to justify their afflictions by claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. For some reason these fools desire to believe that Paul was always sick or that Paul had bad eyesight. If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone think that he was someone who had sickness in his life? Read Acts 19:11-12 and Acts 28:7-9 to prove my point. Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself? These sinners also try to claim that the apostles were sinners themselves. Now did the apostles live in sin at some time in their life? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. But the apostles were believers who allowed Jesus to sanctify their heart in God’s truth and they learned how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for their sanctification. Many believers also try to manipulate what John 9:3, 1 Timothy 5:23, Galatians 4:13 and Philippians 2:26 are relating in order to explain the sicknesses they possess in their sinful lives. Some will even use Job and others from the Old Covenant to try and justify their sicknesses. When these deceived believers look to the Old Covenant they completely reveal their ignorance of scripture since they fail to realize that we are all born in sin and there was no forgiveness of sins in the Old Covenant since Jesus had not arrived yet. Many others will simply claim that sin has nothing to do with sickness and they deny the very words spoken by Jesus Himself. “But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” John 5:13-14 NKJV So if you are a believer who can still sin then your own words are proving that you do not know Jesus nor do you know scripture and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. You are simply a deceived believer who is actually an unbeliever and you are nothing more then a child of Lucifer since you have clearly fallen for the devil’s lies in regards to scripture. 
Amen Paul! I have been carnal since the 11th grade, and I was continuing that life even though I accept Christ as my personal Lord and savior. But when I read Romans 6 and Ephesians 5, I knew the Word of the Lord came to me and spoke to my heart and I realized that what I was participating is of the world and I want to know God more by turning away from the sins of the world. When I witness my friends talk like the world, dress like the world, watch like the world, and even act like the world, I would walk away from them and needing God for guidance. Thank Jesus for preserving Paul Washer. He was dead several times and revived from a massive STEMI. God used Paul's heart attack to show me how fragile life is. I was an atheist until around 3 years ago when I became agnostic. Then I began reading the Bible about a year and a half ago, and became a believer in Christ. I have had doubts around the idea of salvation/repentance/baptism and permanence of salvation…. I do not know that I can say I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit… but I do feel that the work has been started in me. It started when I began to realize and accept that there is a God and became open to the idea of reading the Bible honestly and not mockingly. I am still struggling with falling back into sin, but maybe it’s that I’m aware of my mistakes that convicts me that is proof that the lord has done work on my heart? Either way I continue to pray for guidance, wisdom, and deliverance from evil. Amen.

All I wish for was to not be ashamed of the gospel and to not care how my family, friends and others will view/judge me that's holding me back the most along with acting like the world with my sinful friends
Here’s a couple good verses I like to refer to when I feel this way.. “But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” 1Timothy5:8. To me this means I have the responsibility even more to be Christ-like around my atheist and agnostic family members, because I have to provide for an love them. Showing them the way to righteousness IS providing for and loving them. Another good one is.. “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12 To me this means to protect my relationship with the Lord AT ALL COST. Remain strong and courageous around your friends. You don’t have to speak the gospel around your family either, just be Christ-like. Trust me, they won’t be able to ignore your light.
I hear this comment a lot as well. Luke 9:26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. I would be more afraid of Gods judgement than family/friends. We need to be the light for this world. Never be ashamed of Jesus!! Never be ashamed to pray for your meal in public! It is so easy to be willing to die for Christ. It can even be so easy to consistently put away sin from our lives, but the hardest part for me and probably for many is giving him time each day. Doing more than just prayer. The hardest part is discipline and consistency in the word and presence of God.

Good point. While alcohol isn’t bad in of itself, you need to be careful. The world will say, look at the things that fill you up. Alcohol, money, fame, drugs, food. Worship them and receive joy. But in the end, they still leave you hollow without God and without Jesus and without the Holy Spirit. But God fills you up with love and holiness. They you may spread The Word without losing any love from God.

I do try not to sin, but sometimes I really stumble badly. But I know in my heart I truly believe in Christ and sincerely want fellowship with him. I am genuinely sorry for the things I have done, and always seek forgiveness.

I was called out in a jail cell 23 years ago. When I came to an understanding that it was God alone that was sinning against, Psalm 51 hit hard. The very moment I admitted I was wrong and prayed for forgiveness, it was like a shaft of light shot through me and laid me flat on my back. Instantly 6 evil and unclean spirits ran out of me and couldn't get away fast enough! Instantly I understood what the love of God is, what the Cross was about, and why. I went from having a depraved mind to having a spirit of love, power, and of sound mind. The Holy Spirit testifying to my spirit, I belonged to Him.

I've been so busy working and no time to meditate and look back to God 's grace and forgiveness of me. It is really hard for me now to feel the presence of God. But i am still hoping and praying now to grant me my prayer of going back to my intimate relationship with HIM. I fee so stressful and tired of working and working to life goes on. Faith without works James 2 passage is in the context of discipleship and not salvation, its a contradiction to say "we are not saved by works, "BUT" faith without works is dead (if what you are referring to by "dead" = no salvation. , you are conflating two scriptures contexts and confusing babes in Christ, the simplicity of the gospel is simple and Paul warned the churches to not be stumbled by false doctrine and those who try and mix law and grace together. Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel is the same today as it was 2000 years ago and it will never change, we are justified by GRACE alone through FAITH alone in CHRIST alone.

If I had seen this video a few years ago, I would've either been annoyed or terrified, I called myself Christian but I wasn't at all. Now, it's actually kind of a comfort, because it reminds me that I'm no longer pretending, I'm a true child of God, He loves me and has saved me.

I agree I keep on reminding myself that God does not take us out of darkness and reveals our sin to us, just so that we could live according to the world that's not how it works. Romans chapter 6 yield your members unto righteousness and not unto unrighteous. It's going to be a battle even in the process of sanctification.

I know that you cannot provide any scriptures because there are no such scriptures and that is why you need to twist or add to God’s word so that you can try and justify the sin and the sickness that you possess in your unbelieving life. “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18-19 NKJV I can certainly prove that if you can sin then you are of the devil and that you do not even know God. “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” I John 3:8 NKJV “Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.” I John 3:6 NKJV I can also prove that it is your sin that is allowing sickness to enter your life. Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.” Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. ANY BELIEVER WHO POSSESSES SIN AND SICKNESS IN THEIR LIFE IS PROVING THAT THEY ARE DECEIVED IN THEIR BELIEFS AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT IN REGARDS TO GOD AND SCRIPTURE. The majority of believers have fallen for the misguided teachings of the many false preachers and religions and they never allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctify their heart in God’s word and truth through testing the Spirits. These believers have no idea what it means to be born again since a child born of God is someone who has learned how to overcome their sin and their afflictions by going through God’s sanctification process. “We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.” I John 5:18 NKJV “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.” I John 3:9 NKJV This is the big difference between a believer who is a Christian and a believer who is deceived. A deceived believer thinks that they will always sin and they will always have sickness in their life. A Christian knows they can never sin nor can they ever get sick since they live their life exactly “like Christ.” Here is what most certainly do not understand. Yes, scripture relates that Jesus was born without sin and that He lived His entire life without sinning so Jesus certainly was the only sinless person. However scripture is definitely not relating that His followers will always sin or that they will always have sickness in their lives. Scripture is actually stating the exact opposite of that utter nonsense and it is relating how the children of God will learn how to overcome their sin and their sicknesses in this lifetime and not the next. Many deceived believers often try to justify their sin and their sicknesses by twisting the meaning of 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. First in Romans 7 Paul is simply relating how he was a sinner until He was freed by knowing Christ and these deceived souls clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6. The other scriptures are simply relating that everyone is born in sin and ignorance and so they are not living righteously and they fall short of the glory of God. They are relating that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. They also relate that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere are they ever stating that a believer will always sin as these children of the devil are foolishly believing. A true child of God can no longer sin and because they do not sin they can never get sick. So the deceived believers who sin often try to justify their afflictions by claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. For some reason these fools desire to believe that Paul was always sick or that Paul had bad eyesight. If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone think that he was someone who had sickness in his life? Read Acts 19:11-12 and Acts 28:7-9 to prove my point. Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself? These sinners also try to claim that the apostles were sinners themselves. Now did the apostles live in sin at some time in their life? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. But the apostles were believers who allowed Jesus to sanctify their heart in God’s truth and they learned how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for their sanctification. Many believers also try to manipulate what John 9:3, 1 Timothy 5:23, Galatians 4:13 and Philippians 2:26 are relating in order to explain the sicknesses they possess in their sinful lives. Some will even use Job and others from the Old Covenant to try and justify their sicknesses. When these deceived believers look to the Old Covenant they completely reveal their ignorance of scripture since they fail to realize that we are all born in sin and there was no forgiveness of sins in the Old Covenant since Jesus had not arrived yet. Many others will simply claim that sin has nothing to do with sickness and they deny the very words spoken by Jesus Himself. “But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” John 5:13-14 NKJV So if you are a believer who can still sin then your own words are proving that you do not know Jesus nor do you know scripture and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. You are simply a deceived believer who is actually an unbeliever and you are nothing more then a child of Lucifer since you have clearly fallen for the devil’s lies in regards to scripture.

The Bible does not disagree with itself. If you need understanding of a verse, read in context and don't read into the verse what you want it to mean. We have sickness because of our fallen nature. There doesn't need to be a verse that states you get sick or don't get sick because I am sure you have gotten sick and the fall of Adam and Eve helped that. There are many scriptures that use terms like, do not sin, has died to sin, has ceased from sin, cannot keep on sinning and cannot sin. All of these terms are used when describing a follower of Christ and this is why only the children of the devil would believe that they can never stop sinning. Here is what deceived believers are clearly missing. Yes we are all born in sin and we have all sinned but this does not mean that a believer can never stop sinning. Jesus came to forgive us of the sins that we have already committed and this occurs at the moment that we repent of our sins and we accept Jesus and His Holy Spirit into our life. Once we receive His Holy Spirit we were then commanded to surrender our will to God so that we would allow the Spirit to sanctify our heart in God’s truth. Sadly this is where the majority of believers fail and go astray because they never allow this process to occur since they do not understand how to test the Spirits as instructed in 1 John 4. Many are ignorantly believing that Jesus came to forgive our past, present and future sins. This spoken untruth is having people believe that they can continue in a life of sin and then simply repent and God will forgive them over and over. This is why many believe that if they repent just before they die then Jesus will save their sinful soul. This twisted reasoning would mean that you can continue to steal and then simply repent. You can then lie and then repent. You can then murder and simply repent. You can keep committing whatever sin you desire and simply repent afterwards and you will always be forgiven. This is simply nonsense that is fabricated by the devil to make you believe that you will always sin. Jesus came to call sinners to repentance since we are all born in sin. This meant for us to stop sinning entirely and to start living holy and righteously just as God commanded. “Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. This is so true. I spent all my life searching, I was a sinner and prayed often. I started reading God's word daily a couple of years ago, I started to pray deeply and still do. Last year I was transformed. Those who knew me do not recognise me. I have given my life to God. I am now a born again Christian. Never give up, keeping seeking the Lord, he is listening to you.

Its a journey, I am trying my level best to be a good child of GOD.

Faith without works James 2 passage is in the context of discipleship and not salvation, its a contradiction to say "we are not saved by works, "BUT" faith without works is dead (if what you are referring to by "dead" = no salvation. , you are conflating two scriptures contexts and confusing babes in Christ, the simplicity of the gospel is simple and Paul warned the churches to not be stumbled by false doctrine and those who try and mix law and grace together. Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel is the same today as it was 2000 years ago and it will never change, we are justified by GRACE alone through FAITH alone in CHRIST alone.

washer is a false teacher. The gospel means “good news”. The gospel is the proclamation of who Jesus is and what He did for His elect only. The entire Bible (Old testament and New Testament) foreshadows and proclaims who Jesus is and what He did for His elect only (John 5:39, Luke 24:44).
Jesus is the Son of God (John 3:16), fully God and fully man (John 1:1 & 1:14) and second person in the Trinity (Matthew 3:16-17).
The gospel is God’s testimony concerning Jesus as revealed in the Holy Scriptures by the Holy Spirit which proclaims how Jesus the Christ (John 1:41, Matthew 16:16) was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23) and born under the law to redeem His elect who were under the law and save His elect from their sins (Matthew 1:21, Galatians 4:4).
God’s elect /sheep are the people past, present and future from every tribe, tongue and nation God actively chose to redeem/ justify/save based on Christ. The law was given through Moses (John 1:17). The law condemned all mankind and brought knowledge of sin (Romans 3:19-20). All people are under sin and none are righteous (Romans 3:9-18). Sin entered the world through Adam and death through sin and death spread to all mankind because all sinned. (Romans 5:12-13).
Jesus Christ is the Passover lamb without blemish (1 Peter 1:19) for His elect by God’s sovereign grace (1 Corinthians 5:7). Just as the Israelites were released from Egypt after the death of the firstborn (Exodus 11-13) - Jesus Christ the firstborn of all creation (Colossians 1:15) justified all His elect at the cross from the wrath of God(Romans 5:9-11). Jesus willingly went to the cross (Philippians 2:8) and offered one sacrifice for all time for His elect He sanctified (Hebrews 10:11-14) as their representative and High priest. Jesus was crucified for the elect’s sin and raised for their justification (Romans 4:25). It pleased God the Father to crush His only begotten Son( Isaiah 53:10) and God the Father accepted Jesus’ perfect sacrifice on behalf of His sheep( Acts 2:23) . Jesus paid His elect’s sin debt and there is now no condemnation for those who are married to Christ (Romans 7-8).
By Christ’s knowledge He justified all His elect (Isaiah 53:11) and finished His mission (John 19:30). All of God’s sheep will believe God’s testimony concerning Christ because Jesus justified them by His perfect sacrifice on the cross. Not one sheep Jesus died for will perish. Jesus is the good shepherd. Faith(believing God’s testimony concerning Jesus) is the fruit of what Jesus accomplished for His sheep. God’s sheep are righteous before God by the imputed righteousness of Christ provided at the cross as prophesied in Psalm 32 and fulfilled in John 19. All Jesus died for are regenerated at God’s appointed time to believe God’s testimony concerning Christ on who Christ is and what He did at the cross( Acts 13:48).

I fully agree with that statement. He has the tendency to touch your soul with his words. He calls it like it is and that is how it should be. And after you have struggled and then put those words into our hearts that is when we can say, “I am a true Christian.”
Every time I sin, I get this awful feeling in my heart. I think that is the Lord working in me. I was scared I was going to hell, and I am, but because of Jesus because He died on the cross instead of me I will go to His glory. I'm still barely changed, but It is happening.
Sanctification is a process. The longer you are a Christian, the more God molds you and makes you more like Christ. Pray for this change. Pray that God would continue to mold you, guide you, and help you to repent. Most of all, pray that He would help you to love Him more. Then keep praying for growth in these areas every day for the rest of your life. Take care and God bless.

Paul, a little over 2 years ago I heard this sermon and it started me on a journey back to Christ. I started delving into his word and having a daily personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Thank you reminding me of the truth of his word.

Paul washer is a false teacher. He teaches a false gospel that is universal, potential not actual and conditioned on man .The true gospel is the good news of the Person & work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is concerning who Christ is and what He did to save His elect only. The gospel includes the how and why, which can only be seen by faith.
It is a message that declares how the eternal Son of God came down, took on a body of sinless flesh (John 1:14) as He was born of a virgin (Mat 1:23). He was both God & man in one Person.
He was born under the Law to keep and fulfill it (Mat 5:18, Gal 4:4). He did that, not for Himself, but for all those He represented because they could not keep it themselves. The word of God calls these people the elect or His sheep, among several other names.
His obedient life also included the part of dying. He took on the sin of His people as both a Substitute and Representative of those people. The Bible said He was "made to be sin" (II Cor 5:21) and the way that was done is by God imputing (legally reckoned or charged to the account of) sin to Christ. That means all the sin of all those people God chose was "laid on Him" (Isaiah 53:6). This sin was legally transferred to His account and He then owned it in such a way to be guilty of it all.
God the Father poured out His wrath and hatred toward sin on His Son and had pleasure (Isaiah 53:10) in doing so, in that, He was completely satisfied in Christ as a Sacrifice that met all the demands of His strict Law and inflexible justice. Christ finished the work of paying the penalty of the Law and then said " It is finished" (John 19:30). He secured salvation for all God’s chosen people that would even be born. His resurrection is evidence of the acceptance of His sacrifice to the Father.
The combined work of His obedience to the Law &His obedience unto death on the cross was considered establishing righteousness. This is what one of the Old Testament prophets prophesied as "bringing in an everlasting righteousness" (Daniel 9:24) as Christ died effectually and exclusively for those chosen of God before the world began (Eph 1:4).

I can also prove that it is your sin that is allowing sickness to enter your life.
Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness.
ANY BELIEVER WHO POSSESSES SIN AND SICKNESS IN THEIR LIFE IS PROVING THAT THEY ARE DECEIVED IN THEIR BELIEFS AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT IN REGARDS TO GOD AND SCRIPTURE.
The majority of believers have fallen for the misguided teachings of the many false preachers and religions and they never allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctify their heart in God’s word and truth through testing the Spirits. These believers have no idea what it means to be born again since a child born of God is someone who has learned how to overcome their sin and their afflictions by going through God’s sanctification process.

This is the big difference between a believer who is a Christian and a believer who is deceived. A deceived believer thinks that they will always sin and they will always have sickness in their life. A Christian knows they can never sin nor can they ever get sick since they live their life exactly “like Christ.”
Here is what most certainly do not understand. Yes, scripture relates that Jesus was born without sin and that He lived His entire life without sinning so Jesus certainly was the only sinless person. However scripture is definitely not relating that His followers will always sin or that they will always have sickness in their lives. Scripture is actually stating the exact opposite of that utter nonsense and it is relating how the children of God will learn how to overcome their sin and their sicknesses in this lifetime and not the next.
Many deceived believers often try to justify their sin and their sicknesses by twisting the meaning of 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. First in Romans 7 Paul is simply relating how he was a sinner until He was freed by knowing Christ and these deceived souls clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6. The other scriptures are simply relating that everyone is born in sin and ignorance and so they are not living righteously and they fall short of the glory of God. They are relating that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. They also relate that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere are they ever stating that a believer will always sin as these children of the devil are foolishly believing.
A true child of God can no longer sin and because they do not sin they can never get sick. So the deceived believers who sin often try to justify their afflictions by claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. For some reason these fools desire to believe that Paul was always sick or that Paul had bad eyesight. If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone think that he was someone who had sickness in his life? Read Acts 19:11-12 and Acts 28:7-9 to prove my point. Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself?
These sinners also try to claim that the apostles were sinners themselves. Now did the apostles live in sin at some time in their life? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. But the apostles were believers who allowed Jesus to sanctify their heart in God’s truth and they learned how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for their sanctification.
Many believers also try to manipulate what John 9:3, 1 Timothy 5:23, Galatians 4:13 and Philippians 2:26 are relating in order to explain the sicknesses they possess in their sinful lives. Some will even use Job and others from the Old Covenant to try and justify their sicknesses. When these deceived believers look to the Old Covenant they completely reveal their ignorance of scripture since they fail to realize that we are all born in sin and there was no forgiveness of sins in the Old Covenant since Jesus had not arrived yet. Many others will simply claim that sin has nothing to do with sickness and they deny the very words spoken by Jesus Himself.
“But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
John 5:13-14 NKJV
So if you are a believer who can still sin then your own words are proving that you do not know Jesus nor do you know scripture and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. You are simply a deceived believer who is actually an unbeliever and you are nothing more then a child of Lucifer since you have clearly fallen for the devil’s lies in regards to scripture.

Amen Paul! I have been carnal since the 11th grade, and I was continuing that life even though I accept Christ as my personal Lord and savior. But when I read Romans 6 and Ephesians 5, I knew the Word of the Lord came to me and spoke to my heart and I realized that what I was participating is of the world and I want to know God more by turning away from the sins of the world. When I witness my friends talk like the world, dress like the world, watch like the world, and even act like the world, I would walk away from them and needing God for guidance. I was an atheist until around 3 years ago when I became agnostic. Then I began reading the Bible about a year and a half ago, and became a believer in Christ.
I have had doubts around the idea of salvation/repentance/baptism and permanence of salvation…. I do not know that I can say I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit… but I do feel that the work has been started in me. It started when I began to realize and accept that there is a God and became open to the idea of reading the Bible honestly and not mockingly.
I am still struggling with falling back into sin, but maybe it’s that I’m aware of my mistakes that convicts me that is proof that the lord has done work on my heart?
Either way I continue to pray for guidance, wisdom, and deliverance from evil. Amen.

All I wish for was to not be ashamed of the gospel and to not care how my family, friends and others will view/judge me that's holding me back the most along with acting like the world with my sinful friends
Here’s a couple good verses I like to refer to when I feel this way..
“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” 1Timothy5:8.
To me this means I have the responsibility even more to be Christ-like around my atheist and agnostic family members, because I have to provide for an love them. Showing them the way to righteousness IS providing for and loving them.

To me this means to protect my relationship with the Lord AT ALL COST. Remain strong and courageous around your friends. You don’t have to speak the gospel around your family either, just be Christ-like. Trust me, they won’t be able to ignore your light.

I would be more afraid of Gods judgement than family/friends. We need to be the light for this world. Never be ashamed of Jesus!! Never be ashamed to pray for your meal in public! Speak the truth and show it! Pray for boldness.

It is so easy to be willing to die for Christ. It can even be so easy to consistently put away sin from our lives, but the hardest part for me and probably for many is giving him time each day. Doing more than just prayer. The hardest part is discipline and consistency in the word and presence of God.
This is what I have been feeling in my heart thank you Jesus.

Good point. While alcohol isn’t bad in of itself, you need to be careful. The world will say, look at the things that fill you up. Alcohol, money, fame, drugs, food. Worship them and receive joy. But in the end, they still leave you hollow without God and without Jesus and without the Holy Spirit. But God fills you up with love and holiness. They you may spread The Word without losing any love from God.

It's the first step to connecting with God (Acts 20:20-21). The result is a new life (Romans 6:4-7).
You must be born again and that must mean exactly what that means in the Bible. It's a transformation by the power of God. When the Bible talks about becoming a new creature in Christ, it's talking about a literal transformation into a new being (2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 5:15). Titus 3:3-7 highlights that.

21 Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with humility the implanted word, which is able to save your souls [that's repentance]. 22 But be doers of the word [that's faith, which implies obedience], and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

I was called out in a jail cell 23 years ago. When I came to an understanding that it was God alone that was sinning against, Psalm 51 hit hard. The very moment I admitted I was wrong and prayed for forgiveness, it was like a shaft of light shot through me and laid me flat on my back. Instantly 6 evil and unclean spirits ran out of me and couldn't get away fast enough! Instantly I understood what the love of God is, what the Cross was about, and why. I went from having a depraved mind to having a spirit of love, power, and of sound mind. The Holy Spirit testifying to my spirit, I belonged to Him.
This went straight to my heart and brought conviction in the Holy Spirit. Pure truth, Lord Jesus have grace mercy 🙏🏻
Thank you for this message. I became a Christian long time ago in February of 2007. Unfortunate as life goes on i've been having a lot of trials and lot of responsibilities. I've been so busy working and no time to meditate and look back to God 's grace and forgiveness of me. It is really hard for me now to feel the presence of God. But i am still hoping and praying now to grant me my prayer of going back to my intimate relationship with HIM. I fee so stressful and tired of working and working to life goes on. But i am still looking and asking God to bring me back to HIs holiness. Thanks for this song and may you please include me to your prayer. Faith without works James 2 passage is in the context of discipleship and not salvation, its a contradiction to say "we are not saved by works, "BUT" faith without works is dead (if what you are referring to by "dead" = no salvation. , you are conflating two scriptures contexts and confusing babes in Christ, the simplicity of the gospel is simple and Paul warned the churches to not be stumbled by false doctrine and those who try and mix law and grace together. Repentance = greek word for metanoia which means to change your mind, in the context of true salvific biblical repentance what it is saying is change your MIND from UNBELIEF in Christ alone as your savior (aka trusting in yourself, trusting in your law keeping, trusting in your "turning from sins") and BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christs finished redemptive work on the cross for remission of your sins. The gospel is the same today as it was 2000 years ago and it will never change, we are justified by GRACE alone through FAITH alone in CHRIST alone.

If I had seen this video a few years ago, I would've either been annoyed or terrified, I called myself Christian but I wasn't at all. Now, it's actually kind of a comfort, because it reminds me that I'm no longer pretending, I'm a true child of God, He loves me and has saved me.
This message is really feeding the soul, a very true indication that Christianity is to not be conformed to the pride of this life, boasting of flesh, lust of the world.

First it started on the subject of deconstructivism, you can't interpret the Bible that way, if you do you're not going to learn nothing, the devil is very crafty.
Both of you have no idea what you are even talking about. Just because someone claims to believe in Jesus does not make them a Christian nor does it even make them a believer since even the demons believe in Jesus. This is why many of the believers here on the internet are simply children of the devil since most are clueless in regards to scripture. To prove my point it is impossible for you to be a child of God if you possess sin and sickness in your life! If you foolishly believe otherwise then try and prove it with scripture!
Give me just one scripture verse where God stated that a person who possesses sin and sickness in their life is His child?
Give me one scripture verse that states that a Christian will possess sickness in their lives or where scripture states that sickness is a normal part of this life?

I know that you cannot provide any scriptures because there are no such scriptures and that is why you need to twist or add to God’s word so that you can try and justify the sin and the sickness that you possess in your unbelieving life.

I can certainly prove that if you can sin then you are of the devil and that you do not even know God.

I can also prove that it is your sin that is allowing sickness to enter your life.
Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness.
ANY BELIEVER WHO POSSESSES SIN AND SICKNESS IN THEIR LIFE IS PROVING THAT THEY ARE DECEIVED IN THEIR BELIEFS AND THEY ARE COMPLETELY IGNORANT IN REGARDS TO GOD AND SCRIPTURE.
The majority of believers have fallen for the misguided teachings of the many false preachers and religions and they never allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctify their heart in God’s word and truth through testing the Spirits. These believers have no idea what it means to be born again since a child born of God is someone who has learned how to overcome their sin and their afflictions by going through God’s sanctification process.
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
I John 5:18 NKJV
“Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.”
I John 3:9 NKJV
This is the big difference between a believer who is a Christian and a believer who is deceived. A deceived believer thinks that they will always sin and they will always have sickness in their life. A Christian knows they can never sin nor can they ever get sick since they live their life exactly “like Christ.”
Here is what most certainly do not understand. Yes, scripture relates that Jesus was born without sin and that He lived His entire life without sinning so Jesus certainly was the only sinless person. However scripture is definitely not relating that His followers will always sin or that they will always have sickness in their lives. Scripture is actually stating the exact opposite of that utter nonsense and it is relating how the children of God will learn how to overcome their sin and their sicknesses in this lifetime and not the next.
Many deceived believers often try to justify their sin and their sicknesses by twisting the meaning of 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7. First in Romans 7 Paul is simply relating how he was a sinner until He was freed by knowing Christ and these deceived souls clearly overlook how Paul related that he had died to sin and was no longer a slave to sin in Romans 6. The other scriptures are simply relating that everyone is born in sin and ignorance and so they are not living righteously and they fall short of the glory of God. They are relating that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. They also relate that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere are they ever stating that a believer will always sin as these children of the devil are foolishly believing.
A true child of God can no longer sin and because they do not sin they can never get sick. So the deceived believers who sin often try to justify their afflictions by claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness. For some reason these fools desire to believe that Paul was always sick or that Paul had bad eyesight. If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone think that he was someone who had sickness in his life? Read Acts 19:11-12 and Acts 28:7-9 to prove my point. Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did him no harm how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself?
These sinners also try to claim that the apostles were sinners themselves. Now did the apostles live in sin at some time in their life? They most definitely did since everyone is born in sin and in ignorance of truth. But the apostles were believers who allowed Jesus to sanctify their heart in God’s truth and they learned how to overcome their sins. This is why God then used them as His messengers and He gave them His power to heal. Read John 17:6-19 where Jesus prayed for their sanctification.
Many believers also try to manipulate what John 9:3, 1 Timothy 5:23, Galatians 4:13 and Philippians 2:26 are relating in order to explain the sicknesses they possess in their sinful lives. Some will even use Job and others from the Old Covenant to try and justify their sicknesses. When these deceived believers look to the Old Covenant they completely reveal their ignorance of scripture since they fail to realize that we are all born in sin and there was no forgiveness of sins in the Old Covenant since Jesus had not arrived yet. Many others will simply claim that sin has nothing to do with sickness and they deny the very words spoken by Jesus Himself.

So if you are a believer who can still sin then your own words are proving that you do not know Jesus nor do you know scripture and you certainly do not understand the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind. You are simply a deceived believer who is actually an unbeliever and you are nothing more then a child of Lucifer since you have clearly fallen for the devil’s lies in regards to scripture.

@@mikerutkowski7265 Just because you find one verse that says that does not mean that is what it means. 1 John 1 says that if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. The Bible does not disagree with itself. If you need understanding of a verse, read in context and don't read into the verse what you want it to mean.
We have sickness because of our fallen nature. There doesn't need to be a verse that states you get sick or don't get sick because I am sure you have gotten sick and the fall of Adam and Eve helped that. I hope you don't take what I am saying as I am trying to be angry. I am just trying to explain as it seems what you are saying goes contrary to other parts of the Bible.
Also, Justification happens at salvation and sanctification continues happening until we get to heaven. Because if we were completely sanctified at salvation, that means we have no sin. @@mamamememimimomomumu you just proved that you belong to the devil since you are twisting scripture to try and justify why you sin and why you can get sick. There are many deceived believers who are children of the devil and they will take a scripture like 1 John 1:8-10 and they will twist its meaning to claim that a believer can never stop sinning.

These people are so lost and misguided that they believe that this scripture is relating that a believer will always sin. These fools cannot comprehend that this scripture is simply stating that everyone is born a sinner since we are all born in sin and ignorance of truth. It is saying that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. It is also stating that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere is this scripture ever relating that a believer will always sin as the children of the devil desire to believe.
There is not one scripture that ever states that a believer will always continue to sin. Only people who are deceived think that a believer can never stop sinning and that God will just forgive them for all the sins that they commit. A Christian is someone who is a follower of Christ which means they are living “exactly like Christ” and they do not sin. There are many scriptures that use terms like, do not sin, has died to sin, has ceased from sin, cannot keep on sinning and cannot sin. All of these terms are used when describing a follower of Christ and this is why only the children of the devil would believe that they can never stop sinning.
Here is what deceived believers are clearly missing. Yes we are all born in sin and we have all sinned but this does not mean that a believer can never stop sinning. Jesus came to forgive us of the sins that we have already committed and this occurs at the moment that we repent of our sins and we accept Jesus and His Holy Spirit into our life. Once we receive His Holy Spirit we were then commanded to surrender our will to God so that we would allow the Spirit to sanctify our heart in God’s truth. Sadly this is where the majority of believers fail and go astray because they never allow this process to occur since they do not understand how to test the Spirits as instructed in 1 John 4.
Many are ignorantly believing that Jesus came to forgive our past, present and future sins. This spoken untruth is having people believe that they can continue in a life of sin and then simply repent and God will forgive them over and over. This is why many believe that if they repent just before they die then Jesus will save their sinful soul. This twisted reasoning would mean that you can continue to steal and then simply repent. You can then lie and then repent. You can then murder and simply repent. You can keep committing whatever sin you desire and simply repent afterwards and you will always be forgiven. This is simply nonsense that is fabricated by the devil to make you believe that you will always sin. Jesus came to call sinners to repentance since we are all born in sin. This meant for us to stop sinning entirely and to start living holy and righteously just as God commanded.

He who overcomes will inherit all things but anyone who continues in sin will only take part in the lake of fire. So if you do not overcome sin then you will never experience a sick free life in this fallen world nor might you be spending your eternity in heaven.
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. So scripture clearly states that whoever sins does not know God, so that is you. Whoever sins is of the devil, that is also then you! Whoever abides in God and is born of God cannot sin and does not sin, this is me! Anyone who believes that they can never stop sinning is simply a deceived believer who does not understand a thing about scripture or the blessing that Jesus provided for all of mankind.
