Are we supposed to choose courses that are electives only or also choose the ones that are required in our program because im doing computer science and for example if i choose math 1007 it says restrictions: CS software(included) so what am i supposed to choose

How do you know the courses that run for two terms?

they'll show up as 1.0 credits, and there will be a note when you put it in your time table

After registering for my Fall courses, do I have to register for my Winter term courses as well?

you're to register for both

You can and SHOULD do both at the same time. Otherwise you risk having your desired winter courses fill up and there is no real reason for waiting. For both terms, you will have a 2-3 week window near the start of the term to change any courses around if something doesn't go right.
