Ohio guy here and a FWD fanatic. Love to see the Civic battling with the rear drivers. What a neutral setup. Can't believe how composed it is off-throttle. Looking forward to finding you at Gridlife next season to check out your car! What a great video. Had a blast feeling like I was out there with you.
Yeah, mid Ohio is also a tough track for slow straightline cars. Can't really pass anywhere besides the end of the long straight which I'm too far to try anything anyway
big greetings from Georgia ! amazing job my friend, I am with you your whole journey starting from hatch back in the days, keep your head up and push it to the limit as you always do, remember, you are the one who is defending civic community's pride !
It was good to catch up on your content. I had a few I needed to watch. Almost glad it took you a while to catch up on your editing, haha! Good racing. Definitely tough to be down on power. Hope the blow-by issue isn't anything serious. Also, very nice Integra in the garage! Is it a GS-R?
@EricKutilRacing Awesome. I actually saw the back end in your airdam video, so saw it was an R there. Colour threw me, haha. Wrapped makes sense. Cool car. I was a VW guy back in those days but there were a couple of GS-Rs around the scene back then, and only the more wealthy guys had an R, and they never hung around with the regular car crowd, lol. Always loved the last two gens of Integras from that era.
IMSA broadcasts could take a page from this production. so immersive and tons of data too. a bad day raving beats any day at the office, or so im told :)
I've noticed from this series that the winning formula is to just have a fairly heavy car with way more power than the lighter cars are allowed to have. Like, sure the power/weight may end up the same, but after a certain point, the horsepower just carries. And on top of that, those cars get to have nearly as much cornering speed since (I think?) they get bigger tires?
just got into gridlife today the way you control the car and distance between you and the other cars are extremely impressive especially how you calmly brake a hairs width without crashing I would be stressing and panicking haha
How not to love your content when you show us all the data during the races man, that's so useful to understand what we're seeing on every single corner, the braking, the partial throttle during cornering and how a FWD should be driven at the track. Regarding the Vettes, nothing a little 2.0 can do man, fucking torque monsters those cars. Eric, i've sent you a message on IG, same nickname to check if you can give me some guidance please!!.
Bro you should turbo your car or at least put some NOS in it. 😆 Tough race man. P2 overall and a running car is still a good weekend brother! Congrats!
I have a fairly large oil cooler, I think that temp is exciting the block. But regardless, im not worried because the Motul 300v can handle it, 10w40. Also, power is limited. It's a power/weight series
@@EricKutilRacing Thanks mate. It sounds awesome. Your videos are really well made it seems that all you do is highly proffesional. Enjoyed your rebuild series. Looking forward to be following your adventures. Thanks again.
Honestly, that's what I thought that weekend but it never happened again. I was also checking the data and my top speed was identical to the mph or two for each session. Maybe I overfilled the oil and it puked out what it didn't need. The car would dyno the same numbers at each event after as well. Weird issue
Hi from France , the Kumho v730 are like or better he AR1 for you ? good race man ! the Motul Gear300 is good for Torcen helical ? because i don't like the MTF3 in track
S2000's have incredible ABS systems and good weight distribution to take full advantage. It takes a brave and talented driver to use that full braking potential though haha
Could you do anything to improve the car's aero efficiency/reduce drag, like adding a full underfloor and diffuser, wheel hubcaps, etc.? Are they allowed within the rulebook?
I have so many questions for you. I’m in the process of getting my license through the nasa HPDE and plan on going into the nasa Honda challenge series. Is there any way I can load you up with some questions? I have a 97 ek hatch civic. I love your spreadsheets idea. If there’s a way I could get ahold of you and just ask a few questions I would be very grateful.
Car is still running and family is good. I'd say your still winning brother, glad to see your still givin er!
Absolutely man, can't disagree with that viewpoint!

Thanks buddy! I appreciate it 🙏
Man i can feel the pressure ,those vettes are nutty . keep it up !!
The are weapons with fast drivers. Really hard combo to beat!
First from Australia brother!!! I’m your biggest fan
Thanks buddy! I appreciate it 🙏
Its crazy seeing how much time you can make up on the breaks. Great driving!
Yeah. Really makes me want to add ABS back in lol
Some days you’re the bug, some days you’re the windshield. Still Not a bad finish over all in the end.
Yeah, P2 overall is still a very successful weekend without a doubt!
Digging the new pedal cam, your boots are quick from all that hockey.
Hahaha, hockey making me a better racer lol!
You were so much faster in the turns. Can see why you were frustrated on the straights, only to see the work walk away.

Fantastic as always! Pure analogue driving ❤
Thank you buddy!

Thanks dude! It's a type R, just wrapped!

loosing makes winning amazing!! keep it up💪
Trueeee!

Yup, correct on all fronts there
Good drive man. You and the car will improve more. I know you'll improve more.

hope my car gets to be as impressive as yours someday
Thanks man! It's some extremely tight wheel to wheel action, that's for sure!
What a drive! Cheers from Italy!
Thanks for watching!

Thanks man! I appreciate the support. Yeah, its actually a Honda big block, 2.4 baby hahaha. But yeah, tiny vs the LS v8s. I’ll check the DM!
@@EricKutilRacing nothing that 0.4cc difference will fix against the LS anyways jajaja.
Absolutely good racing man. This definitely made me feel confident in doing race car .
Great Race and Car! You are doing what you can with what you have! Those corvette's have too much torque! Regards from Panamá 🇵🇦🇵🇦🇵🇦
Appreciate the support man!
the hit markers will never get old xD
lol, they crack me up, but it's also a good notification of contact to the viewers. Sometimes its hard to tell visually
Time to rebuild the hatch! Keep ya head up Eric, still giving off crazy driving pressure.
Hatch is long gone my friend D: but I have some ideas to improve the sedan!
Bro you should turbo your car or at least put some NOS in it. 😆
Tough race man. P2 overall and a running car is still a good weekend brother! Congrats!
Really enjoy your vids. Are you not concerned to run 265 degree oil temp? What kind of viscosity are you running? Also are you not allowed more power?

Third from a fan here in Ireland 🙌🇮🇪
Love the support, thank you!
definitely some cleaner lines/ throttle placement thru 2 of those chicanes.. tuff following RWD to stay to your FWD line... Eric would know best tho..
The catch can maybe foreshadowing an engine refresh.

Good show. Were the Vettes dynoed after?
Yeah, all passed without issues.
I do the same "sassy" hand gestures lmao

The braking performance of that S2000 is insane!
Is that the car or the driver?
S2000's have incredible ABS systems and good weight distribution to take full advantage. It takes a brave and talented driver to use that full braking potential though haha
Solid drive, looks like a ton a fun. Noticed multiple corners didn't require a downshift, ever considered trying left foot braking?
Could you do anything to improve the car's aero efficiency/reduce drag, like adding a full underfloor and diffuser, wheel hubcaps, etc.? Are they allowed within the rulebook?
Kind of. Flat floor isn't allowed but wheels are free. In the next video, I make an Aero optimized front bumper which maybe helps a little.
is the oil color ok? Honest question
Why is it tht when u are flat out around 6.5k to 7.3k rpm tps % still reads 85% instead of 99% or 100% ?
I still run a mild detune using the DBW Throttle body to pull power down to 204. It's a power/weight series so I have a hp target
@EricKutilRacing I figured it was tuned that way but totally forgot about hp target. Those races got me hooked up lol, keep up the good work !!
the vette shake and baked you to hold numba 1 for a bit 🤣
loool, yeah. That bump was intense ha
when I saw this comment and then got to that part in the video I laughed for a good few minutes. cheers man haha
wish that B.O.P. was adjusted to give this man 10 more HP.
I wish too man lol 😆

I'm not a Honda fan, that was my brother's fave. But man I love that VTEC sound.
Thanks man! She does sound really good, a bit loud though but that's the normal for a honda boi hahaha
@@EricKutilRacing are you running B series or K series?
K24, mostly stock besides oil pump and e85
Man just watching you drive makes me want to hit the track. I wish I had the time to build a track car.
Haha eye 4 an eye lol
what the tyres setup bruv ?
Details in the video description, 265/225 Kumho v730
