eternal shroud is 49% MR which is 11% less than BKB at all times if you can survive long enough for 6 stacks to accumulate, which viper can. bkb = do i need stun resistance? eternal shroud = do i need sustained magic resistance? it also feeds you mana for every stack it accumulates, which viper needs.
