Is the wheel made out of rubber? Because I think rubber won't work on Mars; because of the temperature, its elasticity would be gone and it would destroy the wheel
The Mechanical part and the frame of the rover is very weak....it is wobbling when making a turn....also it's not very smooth while driving......soil collection unit is very good but the steering system is poor.....could have worked better if there would be dedicated servos or steppers to turn the wheels.....and no rover has that kind of wheel......good teamwork but finally not satisfying results.....happened to me also
Well, I guess I'm a bit late to comment. Why do you think the wobbling is there? On what basis do you think the frame is weak? A design is made to offer a solution to a particular problem. If you would've researched, the competition takes place in the US and not on Mars, therefore the wheels at that time were a perfect decision. Moreover, understand that a project has several limitations and delimitations that were critically thought upon. What results were you expecting?
Great work guys !! Proud to be a part of MIT and witness such in depth work with clarity.
which model did you train for object detection?
which framework did you use to train data?
with raspberry pi can you achieve required accuracy?
great work guys! good CAD animation.

Excellent work. I appreciate the right first time concept.
Thank You sir.

Wheeleez, it's an US based company mostly caters in low pressure tyres.
what type of motors did u used to drive it?
