I have an Astra 300 my great grandfather tactically acquired on the Western Front in WW2. It's serial number puts it in production around the time of the Spanish Civil War. It's quite possible that it was acquired during German intervention in the Spanish Civil War. Mine is actually in that good of condition too, with 2 mags. Neat guns!
I think, the Astra 300 called "The purito oo Little cigar,was in 7x65mm ,.32 and too 9x17 mm ,corto (short,.380"), same like Picasso"s desing,very nice

The Condor Legion guys really liked those guns so it is very possible...talk about a piece of history.
