Pillagers when you kill the leader: I'm going to kill you!
Pillagers after you drink the milk: I've never met this man before in my life
Yep.
it cures u from their memory cuz apparently the sight of us is a curse. you could say we had an EFFECT on them.
It seems to be in universe more so a curse that makes the pillagers know when you enter a village and as such using you as a way to locate villagers
And maybe milk cures this curse

Gold isn't actually poisonous. It's basically inert and therefore, despite being boring, actually pretty safe.
The real danger would come from eating 8 golden ingots in one go and having them clog up the digestive system. Minecraft bringing a whole new meaning to "blockage".
Edit: Female cows also have horns if the males of their breed do.
If you could make infinite water in real life by digging a small cube hole then the entire world would be at peace
Or the world would be completely flooded
@thishandlefeaturesucks if everyone is dead there is no one to fight hence the world is at peace
Yeah...
I think there's a Kevin Costner movie about that 😅
Presenting, the cambrian explosion with skyscrapers as makeshift sea corals
Cows having udders and horns is actually normal in the real world as well. Both cows and bulls have horns.
Not all kinds of cows have horns, which is where this misconception came from
I think it can also depend on the breed of cattle. Some have been bred to be hornless.
The reason that the dragon egg doesn’t hatch is because the last dragon was female and never got its egg fertilized. It’s actually the most realistic egg in the game for some odd reason
Dont give Minecraft more Ideas to remove for being "too realistic"
yeah. that's what happened with the fire fly.
Actually gold isn’t poisonous and our bodies don’t have an issue if you digest it, they have edible gold in fancy restaurants
This video just proves how hypocritical Mojang is, I want fireflies
But most of these examples were made by old mojang
They could have EASILY added them and not have the frogs eat them
...even though you need frogs to eat LAVA enemies to get frog lights ...it's dumb thanks to dumbass social media
Actually, bonemeal is a real thing. I use it in my vegetable gardens. Tomato’s particularly need a good amount of calcium in the soil. There is also something called bloodmeal, but that’s a different conversation.
Yes but it's not random chance and it's not instant. This is a game mechanic.

32:08 I was not expecting the facecam nor was I prepared to see Toycat with a mustache... this has now made me realize how much time has past since I began watching your videos.
btw I do like the mustache it just caught me off guard.
He has been trying -and failing- to grow facial hair. Man is definitely not Italian! 😅
I like how you were saying the infinite water is unrealistic but not the fact that the water stays inside the trap doors without seeping through the bars.
Frogs. Eating. Lava.
Polar bears being a neutral mob is VERY unrealistic!
Polar bears in the real world are one of the few animals that actually see humans as prey, so if Minecraft was being realistic Mojang would make them hostile and hunt you!
9:52 I remember hearing something about this. Apparently, Minecraft used to be realistic in this aspect, where oceans would be like 3 times as large as they are now.
*Some additional notes:*
2- The stairs recipe used to be even worse in Alpha and Beta, it only yielded *one* stairs block for every six blocks you put in
3- The crafting recipe yields 3 doors, not 1
4- The upcoming Copper Trapdoors use the crafting recipe for the Wooden ones, with 6 entire blocks, for some reason, instead of the Iron one, which uses four ingots
5- and 17- Gold in its solid form isn't poisonous , it just has zero nutritional value and may get stuck in the digestive tract due to its extremely high density (1 cubic meter or 1 block of gold weighs 19.3 metric tons). Dissolved gold ions, on the other hand, are toxic, as are most other heavy metal ions. So the same conclusion follows, do not feed gold to animals.
14- Cacti do not occur naturally outside of the Americas, whereas in fiction, _All Deserts Have Cacti_ is a very common trope
16- Early record discs weren't made out of PVC (vinyl), but out of shellac, a polymer harvested from aphids, and were even more fragile
24- Instantly boiling/evaporating warter implies that the Nether is either 100+ °C hot at standard pressure, or has a much lower air pressure. Either way, if it was realistic, you would die within less than 15 minutes in the Nether.
Technically you can eat gold leaf covered food but yes generally speaking I can't imagine the quantities of gold depicted being used in Minecraft crafting recipes would be considered safe.
I need to keep emergency milk around me at all times. For ya know…the assassins…
I love how you pointed out that sponges aren't realistic in the Nether. You know what else is not realistic?
The Nether
Random fun fact: when a husk falls in water it takes twice as long for it to convert into a drowned then a regular zombie due to the fact that the husk has to transform into a regular zombie first then into a drowned
Also unrealistic:
Zombies lol
Gold isn't poisonous though.. it's non toxic in itself (unless alloyed with toxic metals or made into a solution, but even then its not the gold that is toxic)
MrBeast made a video where he ate food topped with gold.
@@Devlinator61116I’m pretty sure TOYCAT ate gold at least once! Weird mistake! 🤨
Gold is considered safe to eat as it is chemically inert, it won't break down during digestion. However, most gold is impure and will have traces of other chemicals that are not safe to eat.
Disclaimer: Please do not attempt to eat gold, this is not medical or health advice.
@@avail6797You make a good point that most gold is not safe to eat due to impurities. 👍

from day one I've found the claims of attempting realism and the fuss the community makes over it to be completely absurd. this ought to be plastered all across MC related social media pages indeed. you and your team have done a fantastic job
Dogs are that way because you tame a wolf into a dog. They could fix this by adding colors/breeds that pop out randomly from breeding the wolves. This would lightly follow domestication process this way.
This is a good idea! 👍

Fun fact: Cats, squirrels, and anything smaller than a rat will survive terminal velocity.
Not true! A study of animals brought to the vet (so those that weren’t just straight-up dead) found that cats, at least, had more severe injuries after falling from greater heights, and were more likely to ultimately not survive those injuries. They ARE definitely more likely to survive the same drop than a human is, due to being much smaller. 🤓
@@misspat7555 you’re a top commenter on this channel so I’ll believe it 😂😂😂
The term used here was survive. Cats survive (with minimal injury) falls over 32ft 75% of the time.
The number of injuries skyrockets between 20 and 32 feet usually because the cat does not have time to prepare for the landing.
I do not have numbers for mice, but have been told before their terminal velocity is too low to end them.
@@nikkibrowning4546Makes sense considering that the human body suffers severe injuries let alone major trauma after falling beyond 3 times your height. Goes to show how fragile we are as lifeforms lol

Gold isn't inherently poisonous. Eating any large amount of gold or other metal is harmful, but there are foods like steak wrapped in gold foil that is not going to poison you, the gold foil will just come out without being digested
Since gold is unreactive it is fairly safe to have a small amount, because it does not get digested.
Gold actually goes into nails keratin, so that's a way of getting rid of it.
But the large amount consumed (however much an ingot is is too much)
Would be interesting if you could dump a bucket of milk down the same way you do with a bucket of water.
Also we need a bottle of water to drink, but we drink the whole (pun unintended) bucket of milk.

Minecraft was never meant to be realistic in the slightest, because the unrealistic aspects of the game make it what it is. It knows no bounds and shall only know no bounds.
Will edit as I watch with more inaccuracies:
1: Cats can survive a fall of any height. At a certain height, they change how they fall to minimize terminal velocity. They can survive that fall, and anything higher. (Of course, lack of oxygen and burning up in the atmosphere don't count. Specifically from fall damage)
Edit for clarity: DON'T THROW YOUR CATS OUT OF SKYSCRAPERS. Can doesn't mean will, and they will be hurt still.
2: Gold metal, and the other 7 noble metals are safe to eat by all nonmythological animals, including humans. The only "poison" is a cosmetic poison, and has no tested health effects. (This is for the metal. Ions are different, usually because the other half is dangerous regardless of the metal)
3. Again, gold isn't harmful. There are untested theories that gold has health effects, some even saying it's related to longevity. Which explains the carrot being healthier with gold. Cannot be less healthy, can only be equal or better. Exceptions are mythological creatures that are harmed by gold.
4. While not entirely realistic, turning raw wool to yarn, and turning yarn to carpet, all lower the volume and increase the density.
Cats cannot survive a fall from more than a few stories high. They don’t have built in parachutes, unfortunately. And anything too low they will not land on their feet bc they won’t have time to. Idk where you got this information but it’s super wrong and with love, it bothers me that you’re sharing it as someone may believe this and injure their pet. Nobody should ever put their cat in danger as even a fall from a small height could still cause them severe injury. They are small and fragile, they are not impervious to fall damage because they are good at landing.
Sorry if I seem overdramatic I have seen some silly people online, I’m sure you know ❤
@@bevishhh from an article:
"In a 1987 study of 132 cats brought to a New York City emergency veterinary clinic after falls from high-rise buildings, 90% of treated cats survived and only 37% needed emergency treatment to keep them alive. One that fell 32 stories onto concrete suffered only a chipped tooth and a collapsed lung and was released after 48 hours"
@@rmt3589 okay that’s a surprising height to be fair. But your original comment said “any height”, and buildings nowadays are far taller than they used to be. Quite a few suffered quite substantial injuries at those heights. I’m saying it’s a myth that they can survive any fall, and that they’re not invincible is all.
@@bevishhh It's not a myth though. They reached terminal velocity. Terminal Velocity is the key term in this conversation. IRL fall damage is limited by speed, maximizing at Terminal Velocity.
Surviving doesn't mean unharmed. Can survive is not a guarantee. Once you reach terminal velocity, it doesn't matter if you were dropped high enough from a building or launched upwards from the top of Mount Everest. The speed will be the same when you hit the ground, and the potential for damage will be the same. (I specify upwards, because being launched downwards can move you faster than terminal velocity, but you will be decelerating until you reach terminal velocity or hit something. Due to air resistance, we cannot fall faster than terminal velocity. When shot up, you'll accelerate downwards until falling at terminal velocity, even if shot up faster as the acceleration slows the velocity until you momentarily stop, and begin to fall)

When crafting wooden stairs, you need to remember that in the real world there will be waste material. If you took a cubic meter of wood and wanted to cut a quarter of it off to make a stair you aren’t going to take the quarter you cut off and glue it to the other scraps. Yes technically you COULD do that but it’s not going to be the same size as the others because when you saw through wood you are removing material. Those quarter blocks of wood are slightly smaller than a quarter and are thus “useless”. Of course a real living wood worker wouldn’t throw those scraps away, and would eventually use them for other projects, but I don’t think it would fit the game to have “scrap” material after crafting. Although I do think that if you put 6 planks in a crafting table you should get 6 stairs. As for the doors though, that’s just a huge rip off.
P.s. gold is not poisonous lmao
~21:45 They're not dogs, they're tamed wolves.
🐕
re: doors/stairs crafting: maybe we're just really inefficient with our crafting table?
Maybe they could make a carpenters table, like the stone cutter? And a new villager type?
The crafting table doesn't change the amount of woodplanks use for stairs, which are six
While a stone cutter use only one block.
But if you use the crafting table they still require six blocks, same for stone fences.
And yet you can craft them without a C. Table.
I love how the map has all of these little people built from Minecraft blocks. Props to the person who made that map.

I'd argue if you were able to carry the same tonnage as Steve, you'd be hungry too all the time
Fun fact: a liter is defined as a cubic decimeter, or a cube such that its sides are a tenth of a meter long. You can do the math from there.
A cubic meter is 1000 liters which is 1000 kg
Or 1 ton.

4:30 gold plated food is actually not harmful. There are a few fancy restaurants using goldleaf in their dishes.
Yes, Gold is very toxic, but it's also very non-reactive. Which means that in it's metal form it doesn't get absorbed into the body and you just poop it out.
However, if you have it in another form like a compound, then its very toxic.
So
Is it or not harmful?
You state is not
But then you said it is.
@@AgnesBooth-zu7tw gold plated or gold leaf isn't harmful. As in gold you would be able to tell is gold, like the shiny golden colored metal seen in jewelry.
However, there are certain medicine and compounds which use Au in its formula, the chemical letter for gold. This isn't gold as you'd understand it or as is depicted in minecraft, but a compound which has the element gold in it.
COMMUNITY Minecraft logic is what has limited this game for years now.

Certainly! While **Minecraft** is a game known for its blocky and pixelated aesthetic, it surprisingly incorporates several elements that add a touch of realism within its own context. Here are **sixty-nine** reasons why Minecraft exhibits a semblance of realism:
1. **Day-Night Cycle**: Just like in the real world, Minecraft has a day-night cycle, complete with sunrises and sunsets.
2. **Weather**: Rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall occur naturally, affecting gameplay and visuals.
3. **Gravity**: Blocks fall when unsupported, obeying gravity.
4. **Biomes**: The diverse biomes-forests, deserts, oceans, etc.-mimic real-world ecosystems.
5. **Plant Growth**: Crops grow over time, and trees sprout from saplings.
6. **Animal Behavior**: Animals exhibit natural behaviors, such as grazing and fleeing from danger.
7. **Mining and Smelting**: Mining ores and smelting them into usable materials mirrors real-world processes.
8. **Farming**: Tilling soil, planting seeds, and harvesting crops follow agricultural principles.
9. **Breeding**: Animals can be bred to produce offspring.
10. **Sun and Moon Movement**: The sun and moon traverse the sky, affecting lighting conditions.
11. **Ocean Currents**: Water currents push boats and items.
12. **Temperature Effects**: Cold biomes freeze water, and hot biomes cause thirst.
13. **Fire Spreading**: Fire can spread, consuming flammable blocks.
14. **Mob Behavior**: Hostile mobs hunt players, while passive mobs graze and wander.
15. **Redstone Logic**: Redstone circuits simulate basic logic gates.
16. **Erosion**: Water and lava erode terrain over time.
17. **Natural Resources**: Minerals, wood, and other resources are finite, encouraging exploration.
18. **Health and Hunger**: Players need food and rest to survive.
19. **Crafting Recipes**: Crafting recipes mimic real-world item combinations.
20. **Building Materials**: The variety of building blocks resembles real-world construction materials.
21. **Tool Durability**: Tools wear out with use.
22. **Biome-Specific Flora**: Each biome has unique plant life.
23. **Cave Systems**: Intricate cave networks form naturally.
24. **Lava Flow**: Lava behaves realistically, flowing and spreading.
25. **Fishing**: Fishing mechanics mirror real-life fishing.
26. **Villager Trades**: Villagers trade goods, akin to bartering.
27. **Natural Disasters**: While not frequent, events like lightning strikes and creeper explosions add unpredictability.
28. **Animal Breeding**: Breeding animals for specific traits parallels real-world breeding practices.
29. **Ocean Exploration**: Underwater ruins, shipwrecks, and ocean monuments encourage exploration.
30. **Biome-Specific Mobs**: Each biome hosts unique creatures.
31. **Endermen Behavior**: Endermen react to eye contact, similar to folklore.
32. **Seasonal Changes**: Although subtle, seasonal variations exist.
33. **Coral Reefs**: Coral reefs in ocean biomes resemble their real counterparts.
34. **Desert Temples and Pyramids**: Inspired by historical structures.
35. **Enchantments**: Enchanting tools and weapons adds depth.
36. **Natural Light Sources**: Glowstone, sea lanterns, and lava provide light.
37. **Ender Pearls**: Ender pearls teleport players, akin to magical transportation.
38. **Music Discs**: Collectible music discs enhance ambiance.
39. **Cave Sounds**: Eerie cave sounds create tension.
40. **Nether and End Dimensions**: Unique realms with distinct rules.
41. **Ender Dragon Fight**: The final boss battle feels epic.
42. **Bees**: Bee behavior and pollination mimic real-world bees.
43. **Villager Professions**: Villagers specialize in various trades.
44. **Biome-Specific Structures**: Jungle temples, igloos, and witch huts.
45. **Dungeons and Strongholds**: Hidden structures to explore.
46. **Mushroom Islands**: Rare, eerie biomes.
47. **Ender Chests**: Portable storage with magical properties.
48. **Cauldrons**: Used for brewing and dyeing.
49. **Bookshelves and Enchanting Tables**: Libraries and magical enchantments.
50. **Nether Fortresses**: Sinister structures in the Nether.
51. **Potions**: Brewing potions with various effects.
52. **Nether Portals**: Interdimensional gateways.
53. **Horse Breeding and Taming**: Realistic horse mechanics.
54. **Cats and Ocelots**: Taming and breeding felines.
55. **Wolves and Dogs**: Taming and training wolves.
56. **Iron Golems**: Protective constructs.
57. **Snow Golems**: Created from snow blocks.
58.
What in the chat GPT
11 is certainly not there, there are no Ocean Currents. Dolphin's Grace can sometimes give you a speed boost in the direction you are going, but that is given by nearby Dolphins. If you stop a Boat in the middle of flat Water it will not go anywhere. Pour a Bucket of Water down a Mountain and a Boat will flow down with it, but that is not an Ocean Current.
12 is also sort of problematic. While Water will freeze in the cold biomes, hot biomes do not create 'thirst'. It will create Husks (dried out Zombies) and the Nether (a Hot Biome) does instantly dry out Wet Sponges (Deserts might also, I can not remember).

TIL: toycat would rather get severely injured on a flight and still get to his destination than not make it to the destination whilst not getting injured. that made sense right?
Most of the things you list are actually realistic, but in a different way than you think, the trap doors are a good example. Trapdoor means you can use it to catch something, but if all NPCs and mobs know whether the trapdoor is open or closed, they can never be caught in an efficient way (making the trapdoor useless), or in other words, you need a good redstone machine or you have to stand next to the trap door to open it when the mob or npc is standing on it and it's a game so the npc or mob checks the nearest block in a certain time so the player them can close and open at the right moment, so that the mob or NPC does not know that the door is open, and the Dillema would be the same as before the step, namely that mobs or NPCs walk over open trap doors. Another thing is the cookies. To make it more realistic, first you need cookie dough and bake it into cookies, but cookie dough will be a one way item, no other use, only for baking cookies, and that's not how Minecraft works, all items have more than one use, itself the most useless item, rotten meat, has more than one use, you can use it to heal dogs and you can trade it to a clerik for emeralds, Minecraft doesn't use all the steps because it would be too much, In the real world you have to in order to get cookies To bake, make chocolate from cocoa and you need butter and flour. Add all of these steps and you'd have a lot of items and crafting, sorting and storing would be a mess. Minecraft doesn't try to play in the real world, rather the opposite, which is clearly evident in the fact that the villagers are not humans and there are no humans in this world except the players and the zombies. So it can't really be realistic because it's not supposed to be the real world. I suspect it's supposed to be another dimension where things are simpler than in reality, so you can go to the nether and end when you're in the overworld, and to get to the overworld you need a portal (pc,console, smartphone, tablet) in the real world. In the real world you can't glue three iron ingots and two sticks together to get an iron pickaxe, you have to make a mold and melt the iron, but in Minecraft it's not that complicated, it would be possible to program the game like that, but it is intended to be much simpler. If you can melt three ingots together into a pickaxe blade, why shouldn't the crafting table instantly bake cookies?
In my eyes, the overworld is a dimension like the Nether and the End, it is not a copy of the real world, so things there don't work like in our real dimension, but more like Rick and Morty. There are similarities in all alternate worlds/dimensions but they are never exactly the same. Often you ask why it isn't changed and most of the time you answer that it would be less fun to play, but I think that's only part of the answer, I would say the other is that it wouldn't be realistic related to Minecraft overworld rules.
But in addition to what I think is the wrong initial assumption (Minecraft is supposed to copy reality), I think it's a very successful list of differences to the real world, there's already a like for the building and the effort, it looks like a castle overgrown with chorus plants 👍
