Yeah. I normally lay a ground sheet down under my sleep system . Not always though, depends on what your sleep system is Thanks for watching and take care 👍🏕️
Cheers J . Yes mate seems like it could be a handy one to know . Not sure there would be much room in fully enclosed mode with a 3x3. Anyway hope you good bud and as always thank you 👌
Really like this Mark, think ill give this a try in the garden before out on camp. Like you say, may be a bit too small with a 3 x 3, but them I'm not as tall as you. Cheers mate ATB
Yes mate seems a good option. Yeh probably wise to have a play around with it in the garden or local woods before using it on a camp ( unless you got plenty of time . Cheers bud take it easy 🏕👌
I've never seen that set up before . Gonna have to give it a go .I'm not sure it will be as clean and crisp as your tho lol. Thanks for sharing bro . Much love
Thank you Dan . It is a handy adaptable shelter . As to setting it up , its just a little patience and practice. If you have a tarp just take it with you and practice some differant setups and you'll soon be able to do tarp origami 👍 . Take care 🏕
Great setup. I've just received my DD 4X4 tarp, can't wait to use it. I'm from Ontario Canada and I've just subscribed to your channel. I'm looking forward in watching your past videos.
No worries mate . Its a nice setup. . Only used it a couple of times . Seem to keep reverting to the plow point . But that one is good. Very adaptable. Take care 👌🏕
@@treksntarps I've seen the weather you have camped in buddy, this will be perfect for that. Looking forward to seeing get out. I'm just trying to catch up with everyone 👍👍

Hi . I'm not to sure . Might take a bit of research. I have a few tarps by DD hammocks , don't think they're silnylon though. Aqua quest make a variety of tarps to . One of them might suit your needs. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance . Good luck in your search 👍
@@treksntarps You’re welcome. When are you doing an camp overnight? Please use that red light again. It made the forest look absolutely amazing. It looked surreal.

I have the 3-5 x 3.5 and will get out soon to test and set up. It's impressive that you made this video in the rain. Question, with this set up, in a real blow rain would enter the tent from the opening. What then, Mark? Cheers.
Hi Morris . Thank you for watching . Yes rain and wind can be an issue . Generally , as long as the wind isn't blowing directly into the opening its ok and keeps you dry and sheltered. So you take into account wind direction if needed. The wind can change direction and that can be a problem. But if you're out and you know rhe weather is going to be potentially bad there are loads of ways of setting up your tarp accordingly ( a hexamid is very good in bad weather ,a plow point offers loads of cover ) Wouldnt advise camping in a hurricane though 🌪🌧. I've spent the night in fairly breezy wet conditions and been dry and comfortable . I would say before you head off on an adventure practice setting up and research some configurations. You can make anything that works with a 3x3. Hope this helps . Take care 🏕👍
Not sure . Might pay to test it out. It will in the open style don't know about the fully enclosed version. Hope this helps and good luck if you test it out 👍. Thank you for watching.
I like tarp setups with a floor. The ground is almost always at least damp.

Yup, I like that set up.... Real clever👏I tried it with my 3x3 and it would do at a push.... but a 4x4, now we are talking👌😉Great vid as always bro😎

@Treks n Tarps Don't get me wrong; it's a perfect setup, and if it was windy and hammering down, the closed up tarp would be ace 👍
@@BurtonOutdoors yes mate . Handy to be able to adapt it quick . Not sure how spacious it'd be "enclosed " with a 3x3 though .
