Pretty crazy how the 2007 game and the 2017 National Championship ended almost exactly the same way, just with the teams reversed.

This is my most favorite game of all sports all time
It is amazing how this team stepped up and showed out in great games like this, Auburn and Hawaii during that 2007 season, yet we had those ugly losses to South Carolina and Tennessee. If we win just one of those games, we play LSU in the SEC Championship for a spot in the BCS title game.

The funny & interesting thing about this game was that this was the last time UGA wore their white uniforms against Alabama. Since the SEC East Division Winner is designated as the away team while the SEC West Division Winner is designated as the home team in odd-numbered year SEC Championship Games, this upcoming season would be the first time in 12 years that UGA would wear their white jerseys against Alabama who would be wearing their crimson jerseys.
Yep 2012 SECC, 2018 Nat, and 2018 SECC were all home jerseys for Georgia.

@@bonkcaesar9849 That I agree on. Had a convo yesterday about how wide the gap between 10-2 and 11-1. Richt's 10-2 teams remind me of how Auburn will be every year. Overly inflated record, can't get it done when it counts.
