All these musicians performing here are really at the 'top of their game'. What an awesome groove--and awesome bassline AND Bass Player! Thanks for sharing this, Jeff Berlin!
I saw this line up open for Ginger Baker at the Calderone Theater in Hempstead Long Island. They were great! I've been working with Carmine Appice since '96 and have asked him many times over the years; "Are you SURE you don't have ANYTHING from Astro Port? Even a PHOTO GAPH?" Well he does now...always check youtube first. Ray Gomez is a true GENTLEMAN!
This is incredibly great! Killer arrangement and the vocal performance is excellent. Never knew this existed. Looking forward to more gems and killer jams. Thanks Ray!
Too bad this band never got any commercial exposure. Excellent playing and singing! It must have been recorded around ‘75 or ‘76 before Carmine hooked up with Rod Stewart.
This is fabulous hearing my hero of all bass heroes back in 1975 when I was 7! Jeff Berlin changed my bass world as much as Geddy Lee.
Wow never heard this before!!!! Really some great music !!! Maybe a little ahead of its time !!!!
Ray killing!
I’ve never heard this. Almost a Steely Dan meets Yes vibe. Thanks for posting
Jazz fusion with some serious Crosby-Stills-Nash level harmonies thrown in there. What more could you want?

That was a wild ride! Wonderful vibe and energy. As a big Bloodrock fan, it’s great to hear some of Stevie Hill’s post Bloodrock work.
