Delivered many a tracked digger or Bulldozer in the 70's, the contractor sent me on a two week course to Bovington as the Army were the only people able to issue a Track Laying Vehicle Licence as was not always possible to access the site with a Low Loader and had to unload on a road and drive it on to the site.

We had them cable drums delivered to the field behind where I live. The hornsea 3 cable corridor goes through part of the field.

Yeah the convoy of the merc and Volvo held me up and made me late to college when they held up traffic in Thetford when they were coming along the A11

Yeah, cables for the hornsea windfarm, ........... seen a good few convoys on the A148 between Fakenham and Cromer, always a lot of cops with them.
