Such a tragedy, she was SO MUCH MORE that a (VERY) pretty face: a brilliant mind and a kind and gentle soul... I agree, let's not glorify - by naming them- the devilish gang that took her and her child away from their loved ones, and from us all...
She had one of the sweetest voice ever. It's a pleasure to hear such an educated and normal girl. I would love to see the video but thank you so much for giving us her voice and charm. 💜
@@jayrowe6473 Absolutely. She never loose that innocence. And in certain way that attitude on her makes her final worse. She was lovely and sweet. With everybody arround.
@@JoesVinylShow1980No totally different movie. In this interview she had just completed Valley of the Dolls. 13 Chairs was her last movie and came out after all this. Eye of the Devil was originally called "13" so that is why it is confusing with the later 13 Chairs.
I love that picture of her. My favorite. I have never seen a copy like that one without so much black eyeliner and dark eyeshadow that she often wore. I have seen pics of her without any makeup and she was ridiculously gorgeous either way. RIP Miss Tate. 😢
Thank you for finding this treasure, greatly appreciated. Sharon's voice was absolutely heavenly. May she and her son and her loved ones that have past away rest in peace 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
Thank you so much, it's so great to hear Sharon's voice. You've also answered a long standing question I've had, as to whether Sharon was a Tonight Show guest. 😁
You can hear her voice in her movies as well as interviews on UA-cam. Also there’s footage of her talking and Roman too, at a playboy party with Hugh Hefner.
Please find the video, someone please! Somewhere in a vault! Sharon on Johnny Carson. Wow! Did they really destroy all the pre 72 tapes? I saw in a doco once that these tapes are stored in an underground site for posterity.
Sharon Tate was beautiful and all heads would turn and she was so full of life and she had a promising career as an actress and she knew Bruce Lee and they worked on a flim called Wrecking Crew and Bruce Lee attended her funeral and I was a fan of Sharon Tate Valley Of The Dolls Dance Of The Vampires, were her biggest hits. She was only 26 yrs old when she died. RIP Sharon Tate August 9 2029 will be 60 yrs the anniversary of her death. Also RIP to all the victims who died. Poor people.
I JUST WATCHED VALLEY OF THE DOLLS , AND ITS SO PROPHECTIC TO SEE THIS FILM TODAY IN 2023 , SHARON TATE POLANSKI WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL, TAKEN AWAY TOO SOON , RIP SHARON 😢💔🙏🥀
I have to say Sharon Tate was beautiful and she was a huge starlet and she was amazing in Fearless Vampire Killers, and Valley Of The Dolls and Sharon Tate was pretty and she was in a couple of TV shows and she had alot of friends like Bruce Lee, Jay Sebring, and Roman Polanski loved Sharon and she married Roman. Margot Robbie played Sharon Tate in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and Margot Robbie wore Sharon's outfits and she made Debra Tate cry b/c it reminded her of her big sister Sharon Tate.... RIP Sharon Tate
Sharon Tate was a fantastic personality, so natural, smart and beautiful in every way. Every time I see an article about her many ‘what ifs…’ come into my mind, that hasn’t changed ever since I learned of her death when I was a child in that crazy topsy turvy year - 1969 - Manson Murders, Woodstock, Altamont disaster, Apollo 11 Moon landing.
Aw what a drag the visuals are gone. I wonder if any stills exist of her visit to Tonight Show? No doubt she looked gorgeous as always. Thanks for posting this.
I believe Johnny Carson's wife at the time, Joanna, (around 1972) discovered NBC was recording over old sessions of the tonight show to cut costs. (Some 'Suit' at NBC thought the couple of bucks saved were worth it) Decades of the tonight show were lost. Someone, however, was making an audio tape of every tonight show. They recently came to light, and I suspect this was the source of this audio recording. As VCR's were not commonplace for another decade, I suspect the shows are gone forever.
Never saw or even KNEW about this. THANK YOU. Did she say 13 as one of her films? I'm confused because she didn't mention Eye of the Devil and 13 chairs wasn't made until 1969. She was actually pregnant during most of the making of it.
She was killed by the Manson family almost to the day 2 years later on August 8th. 1969 I was just born 3 months before the murders my parents didn't live too far from there in Los Angeles. Everyone was freaked out in the area these murders had not been caught. Wasn't until December before they were arrested.
Something very iffy about Doris Day in this tragic story, Candace Bergan knows more than she’s letting on as well. The whole truth will out in another 50 years or so. Rest Easy Sharon Tate.
A truly beautiful actress. I think she would not have made it as a leading lady but would've been a huge personality through the '70's and '80's. I wouldn't say she was a babe-in-the-woods if you look into all the details about her, but who was in 1960's LA?!
I liked the movie but,all that dancing around, that Margo Robbie did,was too much. I'm sure Sharon Tate just didn't go around dancing every chance she got. Come on.
No, she doesn't say queer vampires, she says the title of the movie which is The Fearless Vampire Killers. It's an amazing movie, you should get it....
@@retromoviefan944It's actually at 4:40 she says queer vampires. At 3:39 she does say the title of the movie but I also put the captioning on and at 4:40 she says she is "stolen by vampires and, you know, queer vampires."
Someone said there was a fire at the studio 15 or so years ago so if that is true it might have been in that fire but hopefully not and it is found someday.

All the sexual references by Ed and Johnny make me cringe. Does not age well.
This was around the beginning of the sexual revolution so Johnny and Ed probably thought they keeping up with the times.
