I have a problem with the kawasaki klf250 carburetor dismantled, cleaned, set according to the instructions, fires ok, drives ok, the problem shoots from the exhaust when releasing the gas, the candle has a metal color
Its supposed to hook to a hose to route the gas underneath the quad, but the only reason for it to leak is if the level in the fuel bowl is too high. you probably need to adjust the float.
Yeah..I finally just bought a rebuild kit for it. runs good, doesn't stall, idles high after it's warmed up. Can't readjust the idle enough to bring it down . Gonna have to take it off again. Now, getting those needles right is the biggest pain in the ...neck.
Hey 220 bayuo.. need help... Starts Everytime...but it's idle really really high... Is it the air screw making it idle high... Used to run really great with no issues but me n my ex wife broke up n her new lover , I think her new lover put something in there my gas tank bc everything was white powder ... I changed out everything new gas lines, petcock, carb , oil change, list goes on n on ... But it's idling extremely high... Why
I like the new carb for $25 way better than rebuilding one. Cdoublejj says they are different but how so? Often aftermarket are slightly different but if Amazon says it's the right carb for your application, then it should work well. I didn't hear that it didn't work so I'm going for one .
@@deanstuder1775 it'll be a cheap China brand carb for 25 bucks. Mikuni is the way to go. Mikuni carb, buy mikuni brand rebuild kit and it'll be like brand new
Cheap aftermarket carburetors are a crapshoot, If nothing is physically broken on the carburetor, buy a rebuilt kit, disassemble it, soak it in carb/parts cleaner and re build it and will save you a lot of trouble. The aftermarket ones are “almost right”. The bayou 250 China carb has a smaller float and the choke plunger and cable adapter are not the same.
This video was bullshit doesn’t show us how to put the carburetor back on I’ll do it in another video he says that is the whole reason why we came to this video!!
That's the overflow on that year bike on the video it so it doesn't flood
AS I watched you backed that screw out are you making 5 complete turns or 5 half turns which would be 2 1/2 turns?
jerry c He was doing 1/2 turns.
My carb is set at 2.25 turns out. That should get you real close

Dude, what’s that PVC pipe all about?
You can just buy a whole brand new carburetor for $25 before you go buy a rebuild kit.
we did that and new carb isn't quite the same.
