This is what eventually became "After Me", which is one of my very favorites from Marillion.
I happen to prefer After Me, but I do like this version too. They both are good for different reasons.
There are combination of "Sugar Mice" and "After me". But, Steveh Rothery play the guitar like a GOD.
Its a pity that only the first three songs are related to each other. They should have made a concept album once again like the one before. But it was and always will be a masterpiece.

@damidob The reason as far as I can understand it that Fish split with the band was aschism between him and the bass player. If you look at the reunionvideo up here on youtube you see that when they meet on stage all greet eachother friendly like except fish and Trevavas.
I can honestly say that both Fish and Hogarth has excellence in their songs but on the whole I personally like Fish's songs better, though songs like Cover My Eyes, och No one Can are almost as good as the best Fish songs. Still after all these years I buy Fish's Solo albums but am not that keen on the new marillion, they just don't get that good again to me.
Most of lyrics an music went into marillion next two albums ..an some ideas an lyrics went into fish stuff ...but really just the leftovers that wernt good ENOUGH then orwere still in the making
But they (Fish and Trevavas) hug each other at the end of that performance.
Both 'versions' of Marillion are great. But I don't think they would have lasted as long if Fish had stayed. He maybe has more charisma but his singing is not as good as Hogarth's. Could you hear Fish singing Invisible Man or Fantastic Place? Marillion have moved on and are a better band for it because Hogarth's voice is more versatile and he is a good musician too so they have broadened their musical scope. This piece of music sounds better on After me on the Seasons end album.
The fact that they made new songs out of the leftover demos of this album, shows that they were really the same band after Fish left, the music isn't too different from when Fish was in the band, just different lyrical content...unless that is what you particularly liked about Fish.
It sounded better as the 2nd half of After You! Thank god they got rid of Fish!
