This is the best RC truck I've ever driven that i don't want to own. My buddy bought one and i liked it so much i got myself a SBR 2.0. Neither are bashers but the SBR has been more durable so far. Best part is that both last year when i bought mine and again this year the SBR has been on sale for practically the same price as the UDR and its quite literally a lot more truck.
I debated on being the sbr but I like how this truck drives more. Something about the look of the udr pushed me towards it a bit more. Sbr is a beast though for sure. Tough choice to make
Nice video. I have had mine for just a little over a year now and have been extremely happy with it. Other than a shock leaking fluid it has been flawless so far. Although I do not beat it very hard. Enjoy !
Thanks man. It’s an awesome truck. I didn’t think I would like it as much as I do but it’s one of my favorites. Definitely not the truck to beat hard you’re right about that but for scale driving it’s so fun.
There several issues this truck has, but I’ll mention only this one-planetary gears. The middle one gets hotter faster than the motor (I’ve checked this out many times), and if you are not monitoring this you’ll take the risk of melting the housing and will need to buy a brand new one. To combat this I bought the Vitavon one. Good vid btw
@@Oni_Blxck they are worth it imo. I got the traxxas brand window nets and they really do enhance the scale realism enjoyment. The paddles I got are teaxxas but this weekend I got proline pre mounted tires. My stock tires are coming unglued. I drive on pavement a lot so it’s probably bound to happen. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but I’m digging the proline tires and kinda wish I would have gotten proline paddles.
@@Oni_Blxck one other thing, I also got the link for the app. After connecting the link it did a firmware update to the transmitter and esc. The truck seems more alive now and the adjustments are easier and more in depth.
The proprietary battery tray these companies do is so annoying. It really limits everything. But when you do get it running it’s a blast. Easily in my top 5.
These udr trucks are so top heavy it traction rolls so easily. It flips way too easy. The Mojave is a much better handling truck. The udr is more scale
It really depends on the surface you’re driving on. In loose dirt and sand it’s probably the best handling truck there is. In high traction situations it’s terrible. The locked axle is the biggest difference.

I 💙 my udr 💯 I also have it in blue I'm planning on getting the red shell, I also put a fan on the motor works well, cool video 🤙💯
Hell yeah these things are crazy fun. Thanks man 🤘🏻
Just yesterday the front centre driveshaft (plastic) ripped to bits 🙂↕️

That’s good to know I’ll definitely keep an eye on it. I have some vitavon parts for it but I may need to grab that as well. Thanks man. 👍🏻
Its not a badher..but its bad ass sweet. I stored mine for a year when I moved. Its back out now ready to run. Its fun and super detailed.
It really is a fun truck. It’s one I can just drive around and still have fun without having to jump or anything. Easily in my top 5 rc’s.
Open rear diff kit makes it handle a lot better
It would but it would detract from that authentic desert truck feel. For the UDR I enjoy the realism
Just curious what camera you is on the udr? Cool shoots
Thanks man. It’s a go pro that I hooked to the rear fender
I got paddle tires for spares and window nets so far.
The paddles are awesome. I need to grab some window nets. How are you liking them so far?

Only opened today, got the 6500mah batteries found 2 of them wont fit in the chmber😂 havent run it yet..don feel like running it

The differential is locked that is why it's sliding so easy and tyres are hard
The way it slides combined with the soft suspension is what makes it such an awesome truck
@@Oni_Blxck yep why I love trophy trucks

@jalee6587 some are looking for scale and udr doesn't really seem top heavy but plush suspension
