    Thanks for sharing!
Would you say that the tarp was a must have? After all, a good tent should do the job for a night...
Also can you share the type of tent that you brought with you on this hike?
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing the rest of the La Cloche videos.

      My pleasure.
The tarp was a really good addition to the setup. As nice as the Double Rainbow tent by Tarptent co. I Have to say that it let me down in one way in particular. The crosswind was just too much. There isn't much in terms of shield from that. It handles rain quite well but the wind is definitely a minus. Great summer tent and it is ultra light but a little to breezy for fall. The fail is the all around bug screen and no solid inner walls.
The tarp came in really handy on this trip.
It gave us the much needed wind screen and extra room for all our gear.

@@WildernessBushcraft Thanks for the reply; based on the sites you have seen, would you say that is challenging to bring a 2p frameless tent? The tent I want to bring needs to be pegged and supported with trekking poles and if I need to pitch the tent on a rock, I wont be able to...

There is plenty of space to pitch a tent on most spots. There are a few where you will need to use a rock or two to set up. Use the poles and rocks to mimick the pegs. Works well for me.

I make some content that has absolutely no talking in it. Usually solo trips I take throughout the year. Take a look. You may like them better. Here is a link to the no talking playlist I put together.
