The anime made Senta’s sacrifice double emotionally. I can relate and respect Senta's feelings for Yuzuriha. It’s equally amount of admiration, romantically and honorable. He real man and warrior to the highest degree.
Loved Yuziriha this episode. Such a fighter's mentality. Know when to run, know when to stand and fight to the death. She see things so clearly underneath her playful nature.
This Tensen is "Mu Dan", which means "Peony" in Chinese. The Tensen that Gabimaru almost soloed is "Zhu Jin", which means "Hibiscus" in Chinese. The two Tensen who were making out when the brothers ran into them are "Tao Fa" and "Ju Fa".... Peach blossom and Chrysanthemum, respectively.
This series is really good with its characters and their relationships, I especially enjoy Yuzuriha and Sagiri's dynamic (it's hard picking a favorite tho, they're all so good), it's fun seeing this duo's origins again
I love this episode, because it was basically an introduction for one of my favorite character dynamics, Yuzuriha and Sagiri (I meant to say this in like a ‘working together’ way, but it’s also one of my favorite ships in the manga). I also feel so bad for Senta, and I love that Shiina came in to save the day.
RIP my guy Senta, keep drawing forever! Great episode, I really enjoyed seeing more of Yuzuriha and her interactions with Sagiri. The little bit of background info for Senta also really added some depth to him, the idea of trying to rationalize killing.
Seems like Tao has type differences like Pokémon types. Makes sense because that Peony Tensen is basically a grass and flying type, and Peony used bullet seed
I wonder if it was just a near death or an actual death as this Tensen laid there before transforming. Obviously, it wasn’t actually dead, but with Gabimaru, he beat his opponent into the dirt, but Sagiri got a good, clean cut in a vital area. Also, Yuzuriha has shown great instincts in preservation, like when she avoids fighting unless she has to and tried to flee once this Tensen showed up. I would think that she wouldn’t be caught off guard like that unless her opponent seemed to be dead.
First Tenza and now Senta 💔 this show is rough on us. Loved the dynamic of our trio this episode! Hopefully Shion can go full blind-anime-swordsman mode on this dumb flower
I have some questions after rewatching some eps. In ep2 is the person/thing that came back from Hell’s Paradise an experiment? Is Gabimaro ‘s wife dead? (Look at her flashbacks) Does Sagiri have feelings for Gabimaro? Why is Gabimaro so indescribable does he have elixir in him?

As someone who stopped watching at episode 5 and then binged to this current episode, this show turned it up.
