Hi Jan, It's a great value guitar...After a couple of plays, I found the neck pickup to be too microphonic, so swapped it out here - ua-cam.com/video/B4Ua_XXD5DY/v-deo.html Cheers, Matt 😎😎
Thank you. It's a nice Tele - after living with it for a couple of months there are a couple of other points - The pickups are quiet microphonic and cheap sounding when used clean - I hope to upgrade them soon - the gloss coatd on the back of the neck is a bit sticky - may need to do some light sanding... Still think it's a great value guitar and hope to get a lot more playing in. cheers 😎
Great question - difficult to answer but I'll try... They're both great but if forced to choose I'd probably gravitate to the 70s. They both look great the 60s may just edge it for me aesthetically and finish wise. The 70s has a slightly chunkier neck and feels more comfortable to play. The 60s has a slightly overglossed neck and feels a bit sticky (may have to sand or wool this) but the fret ends seem better finished. The 60s is lighter The 70s has better electronics with the wide range pickups sounding nicer than the 60s single coils. On which note, probably will change the pups in the 60s in the near future as they are very microphonic... Hope that helps, cheers 😎
Yes, I just did unbox one, and here's another~
lol! It’s well out of synch with GAS vid from last week 😎
Great telecaster , wonderful sound, great playing.
