I love how they recreated the original duet from the actual 25th anniversary and never realized how similar Chancey looks to Dan Seals! Very well done and Brooke’s voice is so good. I was really hoping this would be a single. It’s a highlight on the album.
I just realized Chancey does look like Dan Seals.. in any case for those that may not know of course this was originally written for Seals by Paul Davis...
This is one of my favorite songs, and though nothing will ever surpass the original (imho), it is very worthy cover. It's a very difficult song and this attempt hits the mark.
Nice cover. Anybody else notice how they recreated the Classic pose on the stools and clothing that Dan and Marie wore when they performed it on an award show almost 40 years ago. Chancey even has the same beard that Dan did. It's eerie.
@@pickaname29 At first I thought you were saying it was better than Dan and Marie. Nobody is better than Dan Seals. It's flat out impossible. The one you linked was nice.
Had a chance to work venue crew setting up stage and all that as a college football team project, decided I wanted to be there the entire weekend. Got to work like security after all was said and done. Chancey William’s band was playing as a second opener and I got the opportunity to watch them soundcheck this song and it was quite easily the most beautiful thing I’ve heard
Uhh, excuse moi, Dan Seals WAS a country artist in the 1980s and 90s. He was only a pop artist when he was with John Ford Coley and back then he was known as England Dan, a nickname given to him by his brother Jim Seals of Seals and Croft when they were teenagers because of a slight English accent when speaking
I love them both! Of all the concerts I have gone to, you will be lucky if they sing this for you, I did - got lucky to see them more than once. Love the CWYBB! #TheNavajoFan
I wish I could have said hi, or bye, when the Chancey Williams preformed at the fair in HemingFord, Nebraska. All I got to do was go up to the stage with my best friend when they started to sing "Country Roads" by John Denver. We got to sing along. I wish that could happen every night! But then again, wishes don't always come true.
Living up here in Alaska one of the things I miss about the States is the live music. Come to Alaska next summer Chances!!!! I’ll help organize and put together the show !!!

You guys sound great.. Looks like your both hired to sing.... Not the same Kenny and Dolly vibe i was hoping for . Nice Job though putting life back to a Dan Seals song! Thx for the entertainment!!
Dan Seal is one of the most underrated country artistes. He deserves to be on the Country Music Hall of Fame if he is not there already.
Saw Chauncey Williams in Montana, this song was so epic when they sang it! So glad they recorded it!
Hello. 👋🏼 Bonjour bonsoir!
What a SPLENDID TRIBUTE to...Paul Davis, Dan Seals & Marie Osmond.
Merci!!
This is the song that came out the summer my hubby and I moved back to the Big Sky Country.💙

Marie is great, but Dan is even better.

The best way to memorialize the greatest musician ever, Dan Seals, is to cover his songs.
I just heard this for the first time today 2024 & oh my gosh it took me back to the past under that blue sky!
Chucks y'all made me cry like the original. That's a hard bergen.
Good cover but Dan and Marie is hard to beat.
This one's by far better and it's not sped up with extra stuff added in. ua-cam.com/video/dAFa87jOLyI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

I'm thinkin the next cover should be Trent's "Ropin Pen"

Don't worry too much about what you're missing. There's a pandemic type thing going on down there right now.

You’re kidding right ? Country music isn’t what it used be,here’s is more proof to back that claim !!
@@davidday8417 Really?? This is a Dan Seals song from the 80’s.
@@ChanceyWilliams yes Dan Seals and Marie Osmond sang this song this version isn’t even close !!

Sorry but it's an old Dan Seals and Marie Osmond classic!
Really??? Thanks for letting me know! #CaptainObvious
Whose that nice lady ?

Thanks Pete!!
I’m the one that was on stage I’m Brooke pates son
Nice try, but not Dan and Marie.
They are ok. Love Dan and Marie's way better.
Love the song. The band being extra in the background for no reason throws me off on the video though.
She pulls the mic away and she is still singing. Nice lip sync... not.
Eek.
Not going to knock the effort, but change the tempo that little bit and it just doesn’t work for me
Not so much …. 😂😂😂😂
Could her dress be any shorter??
Bet
why cant people do there own songs?sad!!!
I thought it was more of a tribute to the original
@@derekkinder2427 maybe, but a tribute should do it justice i thought?
