Do you get sheet music or just listen to the song til you find the right notes? I'm getting a flute for Christmas I always used to play and miss it so much!
I usually do not write comments on UA-cam and maybe you won't read this anyway but miss, you are AMAZING. The way you play the highs is incredibly smooth, the sound is so relaxing and touching. I used to study music when I was in high school, I wanted to be a great flutist. Sadly I had to quit it because of my studies and the martial arts training. Now, I'm 19 years old, my flute is in its case exactly how I left it the day I stop practicing and when I hear you play I think "maybe it's time to start again". Someday I will play as beautiful like you(: Well, I will try. I'm not as talented as you.

Try to change your embrochure a bit and try a comfortable position till you get use to them
