I find the story of this noble looking woman, this midwife, heartbreaking. How she is able to push aside grief for her barreness at every delivery is heroic.

I feel so sorry for the Midwife. She can quote scripture for days, but it doesn't take away her intense pain. May G-d grant her comfort and peace, and fill her arms with babies in the next life.

Eugenie Syro you assume that she feels intense pain because like so many people they can only ascribe emotions that they would feel personally.
The idea that this mid-wife far from feeling intense pain actually feels great joy and pride in her work bring new life into the world on a daily basis never occurred to you.
After all if it was you that was unable to conceive your emotion would be that of intense pain and that in your opinion is the ONLY emotion one can feel if unable to bear children of your own.
I think the fact that she is surrounded by one of the great wonders of the world each day by that I mean NEW BORN BABIES gives a great joy and happiness that so many parents in this world don't feel because they have children out of duty and instruction and are made to feel like MONSTERS if they do anything in there life that is solely for their own development and enjoyment. Depression amongst mothers that have bore 8 -10 children by the age of 33 to a husband who's main ambition isn't to provide for his family but to study the Torah must be pretty high.

Sadly, I've seen many orthodox Jewish people treat their own children this way. That was one of the reasons why I left the Jewish community. I couldn't bear the materialism and lack of warmth - the children never got so much as a hug and were required to spend their entire time studying. There was no time spent together as a family, no time for the children to play, no loving interactions between parents and children - and most certainly not between married couples. It is heartbreaking.

Ofcourse ancient jews had dark skintone, they originally lived in the Middle East. People in the Middle East don't have darker skin tone for fun or by accident :) They would have looked like Arabs in regards to skintone. Arabs and Hebrews (ancient Jews) are both Semites and are distant cousins. But many migrated to Europe and it doesn't take a lot of generations to completely wipe out those traits.

You do have to realise that Jews are not one group who share in the same beliefs. They are fragmented and one group will not support another. In fact, some of them, even within the strict orthodox faith will oppose and compete with one another. The Jewish faith and people is an amalgamation which at its heart is an individuals connection and relationship with God. It's every man for himself in the quest to please God.

Instead of introducing the ultra Orthodox Jews to Internet, it would be better to be introduced to intranet.
    What I mean.
Intranet is a closed network only accessible by registered users. It doesn't offer access to Internet and the temptations it hides.
The ultra Orthodox Jews will have access to blogs, photos, videos, comments that are only posted by them and not foreign anonymous users.
They will have modified android tablets with restricted features and high security.
For example the tablets could be opened only with the registered fingerprint of a male user above 40 years old, no codes will be allowed. The physical presence of the proper user of the tablet will be always necessary for the tablet to operate. That technology exist and is not expensive.
To avoid the access of different wifi spots only WiMAX technology will be used. WiMAX is wireless, fast, encrypted, powerful, quite cheap and above not accessible to ordinary computers. It can cover with a few repeaters the small area of ultra Orthodox Jews.

Not quite. The customs of these particular Jews did evolve in Europe, but that has nothing to do with their interpretation of Judaism. That more to do with how they dress, pronunciation of some letters and a few minor changes in prayer. Barring that, they are virtually identical to Middle Eastern Jews- both use the same Code of Law (Shulchan Aruch) with only some small changes and to Yemenite Jews who do use a different book (Maimonides) but it is identical in the vast majority of its rulings.

Exactly! We infidels only obey PROVEN Prophets as Moses, who the Almighty himself appeared to in front of over million eye witnesses on Mt Sinai - NOT in some so-called old cave! As for Jesus even the Christians don't look at him as a Prophet , as the era of prophesy has long ceased, and only the Messiah will be the next and last prophet!

I don't know what you mean with that aunt comment. Lev. 18:12-13.
    I'm not a zionist either.
I don't know if it occurs to you, but there might be room for a third option where children aren't stolen from their families but were still allowed into the government.
I wonder how the Turks were treating these people that they felt the need to do this...

After Bible destroyed by humans, Quran came as a rejuvenator with Messenger of God Muhammed (S.A.V), and God said, After that there won't be any religion, and you should act with basis on Quran. Deniers didn't come Islam, but people who believes in God trully came.

If the rebbis allowed them all ,men and women, to read ISAIAH 53, they would see who the Messiah is.

Look how awful of a relationship the rabbis daughter has with him. She never even knew him. Yet, he had plenty of sex enjoyment to conceive her and her siblings to ignore them like that. Same as the Mormons and Muslims.

Do you think that mixing men, and women work? well let me put it this way, me as a 5"4 tall black men, where ever I go, I have to confront the fact that there is always a white woman who is afraid of me at work, and who is going to try to get me kick out just because she fears Black men, If the American society was like the Israel society I would be in a much better condition by now. I believe in the separation of men and women on the work place.

People should be free to live their lives as they see fit provided it doesnt interfer with others. But it is reasonable to limit your childrens education and connection with the rest of the world that they might have to live with closer in the future. The more I understand religions the more I thank the gods they dont exist.
