The Wicker Man is a good film. My friend Lesley Mackie played ‘Daisy’ in the film. There’s a good book called Scottish film locations. You could visit various locations around Scotland. Enjoying your adventures in Scotland. I’m off to Fife in my camper. Have fun exploring. 👍🏼
Love to watch you two on your travels! Cheers me up when we can’t get out in our Motorhome. 🥰 Absolutely loved your chilling out part rummaging on the beach. Thank you!! 💕
I have visited Anwoth Church. A lovely old place. When they filmed the Wicker Man, some of it was filmed on Lochinch Estate where I was working at the time. I saw some of it from a distance. I am glad I found your channel and I am now subscribed.
Well done to the both of you! My daughter and I love to explore the old graveyards and kirks whenever we go home to Bury. I really enjoy the history that Dan gives with each place. And Mazzy, the montage and music went great together, well done! As I was watching the beach part, I thought to myself, "that would be a great place to pull up a beach chair and read"! Thank You both and have safe and happy travels!....
Wicker man is a great film but not watched it in years I didn't know it had locations in Scotland you learn something interesting on this channel everyday.
Hello you gorgeous people! This was so interesting! Thanks so much for sharing things I wouldn't be able to see where I live! Your history is fascinating! Loved, liked and shared!🙂😍😘
If you like old churches or Kirks, then go and stay on a campsite called Witches Craig in Stirling and walk up the hill to Old Logie Kirk and Graveyard there are graves here dating back to the 1100's. Skulls and cross bones everywhere on the grave stones. Also the campsite is named after the cliff or Craig that they used to throw witches off. Fascinating stuff!!
My mum (Cheryl cheetham) and dad (Colin cheetham) and their little dog Roo are currently touring Scotland in their camper. They love watching your videos and are hoping to bump in to you guys xx
Did he make that door safe of my plan . it needs to be a tighter fit to stay in place. I have just made one for rob and Lynn van . But not givin it to them yet hope you are both having a fabulous time in Scotland stay safe Alex and jean 👍🏼
Yes it was off your plan but it went wrong because it needed to be less than 1 inch thick to fit through so it was all down hill from there when we tried cutting it in half. Alls good though :-)
Go to burrow head in Isle of Whithorn thats where the wicker man's feet are the plinth where he stood. And the main house from the film is in isle of Whithorn
@@TravelTrollsTV yeah I watched your video and was hopeing youse went to the site my family been going there for over 30 years we love it enjoy the rest of your trip
Always loved that film, the original with Christopher Lee, not that American remake nonsense lol. I used to know the late Ingrid Pitt who also was in the wicker man
