It's so weird. I own maybe 8 shadows and we only have 2 in common. Just goes to show how many shades Colour Pop has released. Of course I saw about 15 more that I love! Thanks for the video, it looks like a lot of work and I appreciate it!

I believe Colourpop is a European brand, and school buses in Europe tend to be blue (from my experience living in Belgium/Switzerland)

Exactly but everyone loves them
That is the definition of a Colourpop “metallic” eyeshadow. They’re extremely disappointing. My theory is that the girls who love them don’t have enough experience with better brands that can actually deliver super foiled finishes, glittery blinding results. I can’t explain why anyone would rave about them. Their mattes are bomb though. No complaints there. But all of the metallics/glitters/duochromes I’ve tried, I’m always let down. They’re very uneventful, generic, nothing special 🤷♀️
There’s indie brands that compete with Natasha Denona and Pat McGrath finishes. Now, those are STUNNING duochromes, metallics and glitters.
@@simplyrowen what indie brands would those be? I have some foiled and duochromed from Makeupgeek and I'm in love. But if I'm sleeping on other brands I've love to know. I feel the same about colourpop
Karina - I’ve heard great things about MUG, but I don’t own any. I’m frugal and I need to think about it for a few weeks to a few months before making a purchase 🧐 lol.
I follow a few on insta, that look STUNNING! Like Chaos Makeup, Devinah Cosmetics & JD Glow Cosmetics. I can most definitely vouch for JD Glow 🙋🏼 I purchased 4 items at first and I was blown away. Mind that I’m frugal and take months to make a purchase. I bought 6 more singles within 14 days. I have swatched them and compared them to Pat McGrath special shades. I have swatches and short clips on my insta if you want to take a look. It’s @alexmakeuptalk

I will admit that this swatch video brought me to your channel. And I'm SOOOO glad I found you. Firstly, holy cow! Now that is a ColourPop collection! This video is incredibly helpful. I am always on their website looking for new things to buy, but it's hard with their SuperShock shadows because they usually translate very differently on the skin. And I can read a hundred reviews but everyone's opinion is so different. This video just took my ColourPop game up a notch. It's certainly the best ColourPop video I've personally ever watched, and I've watched a ton. You did such a great job with your swatches and labels. You did an outstanding job putting this together. Very well thought out and put together, IMO. Amazing job!!! I added this to my all time favorites EVER playlist. And girl, you have a new subbie! Now.......I must binge watch!!!
