I started Kayak fishing for Barramundi In Lake Tinaroo

So i would say i have been kayak fishing for about a month now and
It have been very fun and relaxing for me. In this time i have dropped 3 Barramundi and landed close to 100 catfish, But i finally did it i landed 110cm Barramundi in the kayak with no sounded.

Its been hard fishing up there due to the cold weather. I was throwing around gulp shrimps with like 1/4 or lighter jig heads. I found just about ever log or old tree have catfish on them lol. fish in there are as followed Barramundi, Sooty Grunter, Red Claw, Fork-Tailed Catfish, Tilapia, Archerfish, Mouth Almighty, Bony Bream, Silver Perch, Sleepy Cod and Mangrove Jack.

Should definitely not dangle it over your legs in case it does a head turn and drops of on to your legs and shaking around it would make a mess trust me bro and the slime in the serrated spines on those things are no joke I've stood on one and the was enough

right now its hard because of how much water there is the barramundi have all moved with the environment change. best thing i can suggest is to look at winds and fish the points and shallows.. feeding barramundi will be in the shallows and the wind pushes everything to the points so the bait fish should be there feeding that brings the barramundi in. if that doesnt work try night fish with lures or live bait most activity is around sunrise and sunset. moon faze is also a factor to check out tides4fishing.com is a great easy app. there really is know secret spot the truth is you probably thrown at 100s of barramundi in a area but they just not active, timing is everything to get the bite
