actually love when u double down on the basics. This video there's so much more of the slow paced "wait for them to commit to a direction" shots from what i can see
as a hanzo main, usually a couple times per game i have a real good momentum boost and get like 3 or 4 headshots in a row. Arrge seems to be in that momentum boost at all points in the game. it is genuinely amazing
Great content as always sir. People commenting "lucky shots" have to be new players... the shots are obviously intended, there is flick movement, enemy movement prediction, etc. Keep up the good work!
I still understand them. Hanzo is kind of a bullshit character in the sense that it's very common for any player to get lucky headshots on him. It's frustrating feeling like your head is 10x bigger when going up against a Hanzo. However Arrge has a lot of consistency, and patience in his shots, which make it clear that it's most definitely not luck driven
Arguably it’s a bit of luck, enemies can always move unpredictably at the last minute, but for sure it’s like 95% skill 5% luck. His reads and aim/lead are on point. He knows how the enemies are most likely to move and as long as they don’t deviate from the predicted path he doesn’t miss. I play quite a bit of Hanzo as well, and although my aim on him is decent I don’t predict or read my opponents enough to consistently hit shots, which I think is the hard part.
Nice Hanzu. It's Interesting how Argge's style is much slower and calmer than for example Wraxu's beastly/aggressive style. Both are valid ways for Hanzo for sure.
honestly youre the reason my hanzo got to masters, I was a mid plat gamer until I learned how to properly take my time to shoot you'll always be one of the best shots on hanzo in my mind thank you ^^
since i started to practice what i see from your videos people started to complain in my games how lucky i am and before practicing these kind of shots, i couldnt understand how this shots are connecting and when i watch a hanzo shot, its so clear now which one is intended which one can be considered as luck. now i see them differently
I always said the greatest power of hanzo is learning the ability to mindcontrol the enemy into your arrows. They can dodge the arrow, but they can't dodge the mind control.
hey arrge, just wanted to tell you thanks. back then i started with hanzo and droped him due tanks were more appealing to me. now in ow2 with just 1 tank ive decided to go back to hanzo. after so many years i forgot how to play with him and watched one of your guides. well, it worked perfectly fine and after 1-2 games my aim improved drastically! so thanks for helping new ones and veterans. keep it up!
One super annoying bug that has been in the game forever now is that sonar arrows don't contribute to weapon or crit accuracy. Love the video and the tips Arrge, good luck with your climb!
It makes sense actually. A lot of times those shots are not intended to hit a player, but to hit terrain for vision. If they counted only when they hit a player, then that would inflate your accuracy since it wouldn't be counting the times that you intended for a sonar arrow to hit a player, but missed. So they could make either all sonar arrow count, or none of them count. Since most sonar arrows are used for vision rather than as a shot, it makes sense that none of them count toward accuracy.
@@Johnny_Jackpott right, but a lot of the time they will not be shot at an enemy. So if only the hits are counted toward your accuracy, but misses are not, then you will have an inflated accuracy number, making the stat itself less useful. My point is it's not a bug, it's most likely intended to work that way.
Tbh i learned a lot on watching your Hanzo Clips,Before i cant even Drop a single headshot in like 5 games now i can do multiple, thanks for the tips and guides love your Hanzo plays man, this is the reason why i main Hanzo aside for being a Weeb myself
I clicked on this not knowing what to expect, most of these "POV: You're top x% on a character" videos I've seen have been impressive but nothing that made me think oh wow that's actually the character being played optimally, at peak efficiency. That was NOT the case with this one, I understand it's an edited montage of plays, yet the shot consistency in those first clips is absolutely insane. The Hollywood Genji 180 actually didn't look humanly possible. At least not something I could imagine myself being able to do. Absolutely wild and very impressive.
honestly hanzo is the main i been playing for so long and your right spamming shots isnt the greastest but always funny when people walk into it. I love keeping my aim on headshot levels and anna is always the problem i have to kill. They so small at a distance rofl.
I struggle with keeping my aim level like what you're talking about at 6:20 I don't know if it's just me getting too stressed in game with everything happening, but my aim tends to twitch around. Do you just have to consciously focus on keeping it level?
Perhaps your sensitivity may be too high forcing your aim to jitter which creates a need to constantly readjust your crosshair -- or maybe you yourself are getting too stimulated and twitching/shaking. Just relax and trust yourself
hanzo is so cool i want to practice him more but i always feel bad playing him, even in qp because i feel like i don't contribute since i miss so often
A lot of games I get roughly 35% to 50% accuracy but my overall QP accuracy on Hanzo is like 23% because I played so many games in OW 1 where I just missed a ton of shots. It takes time so keep practicing. Eventually you will get a sense for how to aim in most situations, and you can practice the things you don’t get to play against often (like finding a workshop code to practice against double jumping Genji or a flying pharah + mercy).
Also, this is more effective to go for the one shot, one kill than randomly shooting at an angle waiting for an opponent to go in the sight. Because they will not. Arrows are clearly visible so once you're spotted, enemy will dodge your next shot (or at least, they will try). Arrge said it in the video: as long as you're not spotted by the enemy you want to kill, go for the most effective shot, aka headshot.
Honestly great shots mate. I don't get the people really hating and calling it luck. Projectiles are all about predictions. In regards to spamming, one could argue that it does create space for the team to move in, a long time player would know how just a stray arrow can 100-0 a support or dps so it's actually a useful habit in many situations and since hanzo isn't adept at relocating or escaping like a widow, the common playstyle is actually just staying close to the team brawls and output as much damage as possible.
Hanzo can win games if you play patient with him. People play with patterns, and if you can watch and wait for them to repeat their movement, you can get picks and swing the momentum of a fight.
Arrge I started playing ow because of wraxu but after he left overwatch and all this time even wraxu is back I think u are the best hanzo out there, but still love wraxu.
tip from a master hanzo/widow main, sit back, in a comfy position, where u can just relax, not very close to ur monitor, and very very light mouse pressure (not for arrge but for anyone reading this)
love to see it, so satisfying! I was wondering: How much of your aim is really focusing on your crosshair, and how much is it just a "feeling" where to aim? I guess that's hard to answer, but if you can that would be neat!
Anyone know if he played original hanso with no drop in shot? If so this impressive a lot of people who were perfected original Hanzo didn’t transition as good on second hanzo
I am getting better with hanzo. Sadly I am scared of using him in comp right now since i have the best rating I have ever had.. this actually helps me alot ty
I rlly am learning alot even tho i was already a good hanzo with around 40-60% normal accuracy every game but i rlly am learning hiw to headshot from him😌
come hang out with me live twitch.tv/arrge
arrge arrge, i have learned your assassin's ways and have become a nasty hanzo main, and has been stomping QP non stop for the past week.
Sir do you know when overwatch match making will be fixed
This video has increased my accuracy AND my testosterone levels by 10%
Thanks arrge

as a hanzo main, usually a couple times per game i have a real good momentum boost and get like 3 or 4 headshots in a row. Arrge seems to be in that momentum boost at all points in the game. it is genuinely amazing
This momentum boost is you just accidentally creating a situation where you catch enemies off guars
@@Arrge that makes sense. actually. still learning but I look up to you big man. stay saucy🙏
Great content as always sir.

would love to be lucky 45% of the time all the time. then i would start gambling and you would my body in a ditch a week later.
Or really old ones, people used to hate on Arrge when he was a Hanzo one trick before the rework that gave him the jump.
Arguably it’s a bit of luck, enemies can always move unpredictably at the last minute, but for sure it’s like 95% skill 5% luck. His reads and aim/lead are on point. @Replakn Not necessarily, good sonars are stuck to enemies. It not only tracks the enemy it's attached to, but their teammates in proximity as well.

I switched from Hitscan to Hanzo, it seems much more rewarding to get backline picks and more useful than being a Frontline shoot the tank bot
Yea hanzo is a great Assassin hero because of his mobility and the fact that he’s so quiet due to him using a bow and arrow and not a gun
This is canon hanzo
So smooth aim, I need to watch more of your guides, I wonder if I can use this aim style for widow. Probably not
great highlights arrge :)
Damn dude you're nutty.
What's that slow motion effect you're using? I swear it's the same as people used in Cod Montages back in the day?
I notice you are going for hits with the recon arrow. If you miss those shots do they count as misses?
True definition of a Hanzo player no one can complain about you. The exact opposite of spamzo
Your personality and skills is the best combo.
Very huge Hanzo gg man !

Haters gonna hate. Been watching you for awhile, great stuff man!
One thing I like about difficult heros like hanzo, is if you play hard it pays off well.
HES BACK IN MY RECOMMENDED
Do you have any tips and tricks on getting that good with hanzo
love to see it, so satisfying!
I was wondering: How much of your aim is really focusing on your crosshair, and how much is it just a "feeling" where to aim? I guess that's hard to answer, but if you can that would be neat!
Arrge aims with his eyes closed and moves the mouse with the power of his mind.
You shouldn’t really focus on your crosshair, aiming is like catching a ball, you don’t focus on your hands, you focus on the ball/target
you focus on the target and move ur crosshair towards the target
“I know what you’re thinking these are just highlights so to prove you wrong I’m gonna show you the highlights”
Would "affect your aim"? What are you aiming exactly?

No

Problem is that the actual dragon strike arrow counts on accurate and so does the radar arrow I believe he’s in the 80’s

Any of y'all know what the settings of that crosshair he has?
Bro how many times have you been reported for aimbot
it is amazing how slow he is taking to aim and not miss
Ngl I play Hanzo a lot and normally get around 45% or higher on weapon accuracy but still lose my games lol
its okay if you dont want to but could i get the settings you use?
This makes me feel so bad with myself
might i ask how you practiced to this level of accuracy?
