Thank you very much, as always, Sir Paul. I am a 65 year old amateur small village church assistant organist, and I learn so very much from you. I am currently having fun installing a very simple Hauptwerk workstation in our small church choir/organ loft. We have an excellent 2004 Allen "Renaissance" organ down below in the Sanctuary, near the front altar and choir, with 6 surround-sound Allen speakers, and a massive Allen sub woofer. Our main Allen organ is glorious. So when I hook up the Allen organ via MIDI to the loft workstation, we can play absolutely anything. This is SO FUN ! Thank you Paul for all of your inspiration and for demonstrating the Hauptwerk stops. And your musical compositions are absolutely glorious. I really mean that as a real friend.
A fabulous demonstration of this organ's potential, Paul: congratulations! It has all the trademark E. M. Skinner tonal qualities - lots of wonderful 8' tone; good solo stops; a powerful array of reeds; muted mixtures and mutations . . . and a thunderous 32' bombarde! It will be glorious for most organ repertoire, but particularly the romantic school. It's a very good example of a classic 20th century American organ.
We’ve needed a really good E.M. Skinner sample set, and this is it! One of my very favorites, and I find myself practicing on it for hours. Excellent demonstration, Paul!
Thanks for doing this Paul. I too have this sample set (along with 3 other Skinners) and it is my favorite. I've spent a lot of time voicing it to my room and your tour helps ensure I don't get too far off the mark!
Fantastic Paul!! I just got my hands on this set and it's remarkable - thank you for this tour of the sonic possibilities. It really is a superb example of the american/skinner tradition - all those wonderful strings - endless possibilities with sub/super octave couplers - skinner tradmarks (the 'flute' celestes and the french horn) - a true delight :)
I hardly can't find words for how a brilliant organist you are! Thank you so much for a brilliant performance and presentation! So well played!🤗👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@PaulFey yes it does. Sadly the Sanctuary organ was in bad repair even in the 70's. I mostly took my lessons on the Schlicker in Shatto Chapel. As a treat Tom Murray would take me into the Sanctuary to play the big organ. When Tom moved back East, I started to take lessons with Lloyd Holsgraf at First Congregational Church and had the opportunity to play many a Noon Day Concert for him.
I‘m happy to hear that! For this price these 3 sets are incredible! You can message me on feypaul@web.de if you‘d like some additional information on the other 2 😊
Yes, Augustine's Aeolian Skinner is really good, especially since it's free. The only thing I wish it had is chimes. The original had chimes, but they weren't working when it was recirded, so it doesn't have any.
Thank you very much, as always, Sir Paul.

You're so welcome my friend!🤗👍
Paul- I took Organ Lessons there with Thomas Murray... what a treat that was.
That's awesome! Does the set come close to the sound of the real instrument?

Some really nice sounding stops there. Particularly like the strings. (Oh, and the 'Variations on a Trumpet Tune' 😜😉)
Haha, thanks! 😜😀
WOW!!! ❤️👌👌🎵
Thanks for watching 😊
Maestro let's play
Too expensive for me :(((
There is a free Skinner Organ (by Augustines I think) available too! I‘ve featured it ok the channel aswell 😀
