Personally I really like the aftershow because it lets the people who can stay keep doing a bit of extra podcast stuff. Like often how Shawn has had to leave but then everyone else just keeps going in the aftershow for anywhere from 15-45 minutes after. Of course it’s up to you guys, the Mega64 podcast is gonna be good anyway. Thanks for all the Blu-rays you guys put out this year btw

I’m subbed on the Patreon so I’m not saying this because I don’t wanna spend money, but I’m not into the idea of locking the aftershow behind it. I’m not in a position where I can watch the show live, and I’m willing to bet a lot of other fans are in the same boat. If putting it on there was in an effort to simplify the format I don’t really see how making people go to a different website to watch the aftershow makes it easier. Still love the show and ultimately it’s your decision on what you wanna do with it just thought I’d add my thoughts.

Why is it crazy? As someone who openly references Breakfast of Champions with their YT handle you should totally understand the ironic absurdity of his existence. I'd be more concerned if he actually wanted to live in reality.
@@zoydcompson Kilgore Trout is a recurring character in Vonnegut's works, not just Breakfast of Champions. He would've hated the vision pro, straight up Trafalmadorian technology. I'm all for it, a vision pro figure update would go so hard!
Amazing podcast but really bummed out about the aftershow changes tbh. It's harder for me and others who live in different timezones to catch the show live, so it's unfortunate that we're essentially losing access to it, even as twitch subscribers.
As someone who works at a Mercedes dealership, I can't wait to try and explain the new wil.i.am feature to old people buying their new car.

The new format idea isn't great for viewers in different time zones, the podcast in the UK is at like 2AM
Putting the aftershow behind a paywall is lame as hell.
Keep the after show the way it is
if the type of stuff that would normally be in the aftershow gets rolled into the end of the main show then it won't matter much in the long run. I did personally like the aftershow because it would shift into a more relaxed vibe, even tho they were two separate parts for arbitrary reasons.

This podcast is five bags of popcorn with a large sized soda.
I hate the idea of the after show being a Patreon thing... half the time it's better than the main show anyway.

the recent Todd and Aaron was fantastic, interesting to know that the charged lemonade bit wasn't the original plan. The fact that you only realized afterwards that you coulda just bought normal lemonade makes it even funnier.

So in short:
You merge both normal podcast and aftershow into 1 video. Ok whatever.
But you take a portion of the aftershow out and put it behind a paywall on patreon. That i do not like.
Mega 64 must be having trouble financially.
Maybe that is why derrick does appear as much anymore.

Saying that having a show and an after show as two separate videos is too confusing but then changing it to a show and an after show that is now just on a separate website locked behind a subscription and that's somehow less confusing is beyond stupid
I worked for a terrible startup that was trying to do the exact same thing as sound drive. It was a shitshow and completely useless. My old boss would have died and gone to heaven if he could have gotten Will.I.Am to demo our tech.
