Today we are covering my 2023 Path of Titans tier list, which is of course full of the most controversial opinions and rankings known for any Path of Titans player. So... Is this more controversial than my last tier list video? (Yes)

Path of Titans is an upcoming MMO RPG Dinosaur survival game, created by Alderon Games. The game has been in production for just over a year and is already looking set to become one of the most successful dinosaur games of all time.
Path of Titans is set to enter early access in September 2020 and has already racked up over $300,000 from crowdfunding. It has an extremely dedicated community and a dedicated team of developers who are providing huge amounts of content for us.

The problem with balance in the game stems from two things Apexes and turn radius. There are simply stronger dinos that make other dinos redundant.
Dasp and Allo are made obsolete by T-rex. They just sit in this weird spot where they are well balanced but many dinos around them are not. Basically dasp and allos are only good at fighting other dasps and allos. If equal skill they can never kill a t-rex nor any apex 1v1, they can never catch anything with more than 1000 speed (Which is over half the dinos in the roster) and everything with a abusable turn radius can just tail ride them to death. *Looking at you Alios and Deinonychus.*
Same goes with the Alberta its just a smaller Trike. If you want power go for trike, if u want speed go for styra. Alberta is just there, sure its ok and well balanced but fills a very small, middle of the road, niche.
Another example is the pachy, with the resent buffs to the Pycno, pachy numbers have dropped dramatically. Why use a smaller and slower dino with knockback when you can have a bigger and faster dino with knockback?
As the game is right now there are only two things that make a dino good in PvP, combat weight and a good mix of speed/turn radius. The dinos with highest numbers in theese stats and strong combinations of them are the best. Hence why you rarely see things like camptos, amargas or dasps.
Amargasaurus stam regen was actually nerfed. Not buffed.

The only issue with this, the modded creatures don't follow a consistent power scaling, like a dinosaur may look really good, but it'd abilities might be shit, and vice versa

DB Deinosuchus, incredibly overpowered. Tanky on land, formidable in water, heavyweight, insane dmg, has grab, deathroll, bone break, can bite at 90 & 180 degrees instantly.

I agree Allo does need more love, while the new attack is a welcomed bonus, it feels a bit weird, it is a very situational attack.
The problem with amarg (correct me if I’m wrong) is that in its natural enviornment, it wouldn’t be competing with things like rexes and spinos. It would be the big bruiser in its environment, and the carnivorous dinosaurs that did live near it would be smaller, so it would have pure bulk on its side, something it doesn’t have in game.
I agree with you there, its speed doesnt help it either, with Apexes able to keep up, makes it go into an unfortunate position

The amarg before July update was the 6 strongest Dino in the game and could kill all but two Dino’s. Now the amarg has been nerfed in literally every aspect. It’s water speed,water stam, oxygen, it’s defense was nerf by 30%, it’s stomp cooldown by 5x, stomp aoe never hits where before you just had to make the legs hit, speed was nerf from 650 to 615, the June Amarg could take on eo with stomp, duck and spino with tail attack only loss to bars and rex now they buff the duck and spino land speed and stamina so like why the amarg getting nerf in every aspect of the game.
@@jamesfarmer1057 amargas speed has always been 615 and it’s oxygen,water speed and Stam wasn’t nerfed and it definitely couldn’t take on eotrike lmao ducks speed and stam was nerfed not buffed where u getting this information bud because I know a lot of stats about this game and your completely clueless it also couldn’t take on spino it was slower with worse turn and damage.Amargas hp was also buffed

I recently got back on my amargasaurus and it has been VERY impressive. If you get a direct stomp in, it's a one-tap KO on stuff like Alios- which have been what mainly target me. I've been baiting attacks on purpose in GP and it's been raining trophies. I've even defeated Pycno pairs on MULTIPLE occasions and have sent solo suchos running. Two stomps- even if not directly landed, mixed with a head swing or two is enough to kill a pycno. Since Amarg has a lot of health i usually end up with a little less or a little over half my health before my opponent dies. As long as it isn't an apex that is... I'd give Amarg a B at least

A defense bars can tank everything in the game from Eos to Rex depending on the situation. Bars has great speed and stamina for something with such high base defense, a stackable defense call AND an ocean of health. I've yet to be killed by an eo or rex just because they can never manage to get to my head. Idk how spino fairs against it, but Deinocherius stands no chance against a bars at any point- it can't get around one and just doesn't have the health, defense or damage to hold its own. On that note I think Deinocherius is actually the worst apex as it loses in water to the other semi-aqautics and loses on land to the other apexes. I'd definitely make bars S over duck. Everything else I more or less agreed with though, fun video!
I love bars and ya 1v1 it wins agasint everything pretty easily even in 2v2 on land vs spinos is easy. Most people suck at bars but bars and duck are my top 2
I feel like this may be a bit controversial but Struthio is solid C or D. They are too fast for anything to catch and when fighting the 2 most powerful things in the game right now (raptors) they out class them so well. They cant never be pounces and when they are their kick still hits the raptor. When bleed on raptors is gone this thing will be a raptor killing machine. Their heal is very good aswell. It would be nice to make thing thing more powerful though. I agree with you on that.
not controversial at all, i personally think campto and struthio just need a bit more love and they shoot up the table massively

The "sea runner" is my favorite for its ability to both fly and swim (and isn't too bad on the ground).
As a allo player I said this to another guy saying is allosaurus worth growing
Allosaurus needs a head and front limb secondary slot
For the head it needs a charge bite attack that does bleed
For the claws it needs a charge slash for bleed plus it needs senses and voice since it's better as a pack mid tier

Not even just give it another head slot w a better ability than hatchet bite, maybe a call ability and take away the claws stamina drain and it'd be fine. The fact it's like the only carni rn aside from sucho I think that has a claw attack that drains Stam and that rn is its only downside imo
Why does it need a charged claw attack? Maybe claw barrage like sucho, but I don’t think a charged claw attack is necessary
I'd say give him a grapple and remove the stam debuff on traction plus decrease the amount of turn you get to even it out

In my personal opinion, Spinosaurus is in b or c tear now. It got nerfed very hard this update. The Stomp attack is okay, but losing its charged bite and losing the bleed on its claws now makes it very hard to fight rexes or most other Apex dinosaurs.
Literally nothing can handle my speed Spino dude , any Apex can get it in 1 v 1 water or land doesn’t matter till i got the right build on . I got plenty of clips of me dealing with packs in water and taking souls .
With heavy bleed on claws or charged bite Spino would most certainly be Op and get a nerf so I’m happy the way he is now . Hopefully the devs will show him some love with a vocal ability or a new and better swim posture. 🤞🏻
Bars would easily hit a tier if the cooldowns were reduced for its tail it needs a stomp or back kick move or Atleast front kick

Thalassodromeus is S tier. Nothing can get you and you can both fly and swim away if you are in danger, and you are quite fast on the ground too. It is almost impossible to die as a thalasso if you are smart enough.

The only downside on Thalassodromeus is that it’s difficult to hit other creatures and doesn’t do a great deal of damage unfortunately. It’s the best creature if you just want to vibe and be an absolute pest but still
Thalass is F tier, it has less combat capabilities than a struthi sure they can fly away and go in water but if their only purpose is to run away and physically is incapable of doing anything else it’s F tier, this game is a pvp based game and to add a dinosaur with 0 pvp capability is just dumb
I def think Allo should get a lot more love. It has little to nothing in its kit plus the hatchet bite was just a really old theory and with how much damage it deals I really feel like we should’ve gotten smth like grapple or maybe a tackle ability instead. Also, dunno why goose honk never got added in
I wish it had a grapple so it could grab and slow down its opponents while doing bleed and losing a bit of stam

I really love solo, non-combative play so tend to favour things like Thalasso, Campto, Struthio, etc...but not including Thalasso, it feels like the devs tend to put more focus on the gnarlier carnivores because they're the 'cool' ones. (This is more a critique on what the playerbase finds popular and thus what the devs put more focus on - kind of like the voted-in creatures in Ark 🙃). I've really enjoyed Pachyceph as well, but Struthio will always have my heart. I really want to see some updates for it.
Trex in a is wild if you play well you kill anything in the game if you have head tank ability.

I think the reason he put it in A is because it gets overshadowed by Spino which is the same strength but can go in water, Rex is terrible in water so having them both in the same tier wouldn't make much sense in that regard but it definitely deserves S tier imo
Eo wouldve been S tier in my opinion if it had slick scales, but it doesn’t so I would’ve put it in A tier instead.

Allo could do with an acceleration buff, turn speed buff, slower stam drain. a sense and a voice and it would be fine. Thats how much it lacks rn

I must ask, is this a survivability tier list, or a combat tier list? Does this account for playing in groups with others of it's kind? Is this a solo only tier list?
This is more of a generalised tier list, based on personal opinions so I would take it with a grain of salt. I do try mix all factors when making my judgements however!

Bars is my FAVORITE playable. I main it and I wish it got some love in the updates 😢 maybe give it an AOE attack as well?

You forgot to mention Rex’s new “Facetank” ability definitely putting it in S tier. Lone survivor plus deep rumble and facetank idk what’s winning against that except a Ano.

I’m just waiting for Thalasso to get a combat weight buff or more attacks. It’s just way too weak for an oversized pterosaur that is tall as Amarga.
On my server we gave it stam and CW buffs, works great. I aimed to make the tier list based on Official stats tho, which is just quite lacking

yea that would be better tbf, i was gonna say the CW increase would only be slight, very slight. Stam increase would be needed!
Personally I would never put Ano in A tier, mainly because it's useless without Hunker Down and dies very easily if not crouched. As for Daspleto, its Piercing Bite is crazy broken against big playables. It can literally 6 shot Rexes and Eos with it.
With Hunker however it is A tier, while it has it at its disposal that is. Dasp is very strong now I do agree, way better than Allo

Allo is still amazing if you run the Defense species with Bal Tail, Traction and Armor Hide, its turn radius is insane and you can easily tail raid Apexes, whilst also being able to turn quick enough for the smaller ones.
But I'm sorry, Hatchet Bite is hot garbage and Allo's deserver better. Devs give Sucho a stomp but not the Allo? Okay then.
Personally hatchet bite would be better if allo got 2 head slots. with it being one, you have 2 lackluster head attacks to choose from, it would be better to be able to use both imo

Hate the current balancing. Raptors are the new apex with lag and pounce on their side. Most playables have a broken tailhitbox, so you cant actually reach them from behind (like sucho that bastard of a playable atm). But most importantly, the lag sucks. In terms of tiers id rank em like this: small: laten

Yes I noticed tail hitboxes are really weird, some make you lose a lot of damage, some dinos less. It’s interesting
NGL i only agree whit rex, iggy,sarco, stego, eo, lat, duck and campto the rest is just BS (also in the recent update spino got bleed removed from its claw attack)

On WWD server, they upped the campts bite damage to 60, this defo made a huge difference to how the dino can defend it self, the 20 damage on live simply isnt enough.
I have never had any luck in fights with my EO and it’s so disappointing for me. Rex on the other hand I’ve had some good times with
I hope they never get rid of the sarco grab being able to pick the ano out of hunker cause it’s litterally the only counter to ano now if you don’t want to either bring a apex out or take a year to kill one of them
They can no longer Hunker on the banks of water and be terrors to society now that they can be grabbed. The amount of Ano's I've seen who have now suddenly lost the balls to Hunker near water is hilarious.
So I was curious about megalania, I knew their group slot had been changed from 3 to 2 but I didn't think the combat weight was lowered. Do you think it was a small change? because compared to dinos I fought before, it still looks like a very large gecko. And with the changes on venom they really hating on the gecko players.

Idk I’ve reallyyyy been feeling cera lately. When I first got pot it was the Dino that made me get the game and yet I’ve only just now grown one but wow I didn’t die once in a normal combat setting. The one time I died I got attacked by like 6 adult herbs lol. But playing cera has pushed me to fight a lot more than I usually do and I easily solod an allo and a subadult duck. I even got dragged into the middle of crater pond by a Sarco and just from that new tail damage nerf I escaped with like a fourth of my health left from constant bites from a SARCO to my butt. The nerf to butt damage is that good. not super squishy but I think I could solo every other mid tier carni in the game. I’ve seen cera solo suchos
Spino Claw doesnt get bleed anymore and its the slowest creature in the game (i think) on land so you arent catching anyone who doesnt want to fight you. A Duck beats you by simply trading diseneging then trading or just using hiss and outtrading you. Spino is in a rough spot honestly. I hope it gets its bleed back. Or some sort of ability to do with its Sail like some sort of enrage ability.

You ever consider talking about some of the modded dinosaurs? A lot of people play on unofficial servers and I’d love to hear your opinions on modded dinos. Especially the ones who’ve gained some infamy in terms of being busted.
I think the only thing I'd change is putting conc in B tier below alio he's got great speed good stam and if you focus on a terrestrial conc he's one of the best wear down pack hunters there is, basically just a better Meg atm
You do know that pycno has the second lowest health in the game, so it doesn't have a high health pool. Like ik its combat weight means it will technically mean its got more health than the smaller dinos but still

Throughout all the updates and constant changes, kentro has always been a very good underdog. I've probably killed every dino with it. I wish its traction ability didn't reduce stamina recovery though

I just 1v1 an pycno in a deathmatch and we were both low until a raptor ruined it and they almost got killed by the raptor but we scared it off and i told him he would of won :)

Both cera and pyc have reflective hide which is a passive, spino lost charge bite and claws no longer bleed. I’m a spino main and id have to say Rex with deep rumble and FT wins against spino

Ranking Spino that high and even above Sucho is just absurd. Spino has nothing going for it anymore. With Bleed from Claw you could force people to move by channeling Charge Bite. Now you lost both and everything out-trots you. Sucho has more DPS, ist faster with more stamina.
Spino is still tanky asf. Sucho may have higher dps but spino will outlive it. Spino is still better overall.

Yea pycno is great. A tier for sure. They seem weaker alone, like a pycno cant 1v1 a dasp but in a 2v2 pycnos can dominate dasps and even allos.

Come on struthi and campto is very fun to play but camto needs a kick attack. Struthi needs a claw attack or something.
They are fun, however I do think they need to be put into a specific niche, a true support scout dinosaur I think, utilise group buffs or passive buffs that can help provide a group information. They have mobility to a T, just need to go properly into Support I think

Bars is really good. It is better than eottike. I killed a eotrike on my bars two days ago and I had just been fighting off a pair of Cara’s attacking my baby. They had gotten me to 3/4 health then the eo got me to 1/4 health so in my opinion the bars is S tier as it can also kill Gigi’s easily without much health being taken off.
Attacked sucho and smashed it as pycno, also attacked 2 sub adults rexes and killed 1. Pycno is really good. Only weakness is raptors or cerato.

The suchos buff can be beaten with an iggys back kick. Had 2 ride my tail separate fights. Killed them only with kick.
In my opinion i think amargasaurus should be a bit higher on the list because when i play it the only problems i have is apexs and in a 1v1 matchup against any mid tiers amargasaurus can usaully win i normally play amargasaurus alot and can sometimes even beat multiple dinosaurs in one fight but this is also my opinion.

The only issue I have is that velocci placed eurhino above Kai when in reality Kai is about the same if not better than eurhino
Cerato should be A tier, one alone can demolish a pycno, alio, metri and even a dasp S tier for a mid tier
Ay the allo might have one attack but it is the only carnivore that can kill anything
Spino belongs in B at the highest, fighting them as my rex and my duck, or my trike since the update. it's a joke, They have no bleed anymore, they have no charge bite. They go down like a sack of rocks. Slow turn radius, mid-tier damage, and very slow on land. I've 2v1'd them as a rex. and 2v3'd them as a 2-pack of trikes. They feel like a worse version of sucho, primarily because they are.
To be honest I think Allosaurus being one of the most popular Carnivores ever should be better in this game then it should be, feels too squishy, too lack luster etc as for raptors I say switch em, Laten is lackluster in cases of looks while Deinonychus is pure beauty, better skins too
Also EO's are literally easy to kill now, get four raptors together and that eo is gonna die.
Then there's Metri as a Healer, worst choice for the dino ever, should've just made an Oviraptorid as a healer.

Love that Rex is consistent the buffs are amazing got me back into the game! Amarga needs more love should be able to take down a spino or a Rex! Bars needs a nerf! Imo it’s not realistic! Eotrike is great! Also rex had a sceptic bite in real life from the bacteria in its mouth. That should be in the game imo.
I think Rex will always be a A / S. I put it into A because I felt Deinocheirus and Spino had more upsides, being able to go toe and toe with a Rex but being a Semi Aquatic as well gives them a big edge on it as it has an extra benefit
@@VelocciYT it’s not that realistic though. I’ve actually done numerous research studies on tyrannosaurus in comparison to the true Spinosaurus from the fossil record. And new modern conclusions have been reached about Spinosaurus ability to walk on land, due to its immense body weight it could not support itself on land at larger sizes for long periods of time as its own sheer mass would crush its organs similar to how modern day giant crocodiles adopt completely aquatic lifestyles to accommodate for massive sizes . The Spinosaurus was most likely a quadruped fish eater which was unmatched in the water for the most part (even tho rexes have been proven to be highly aquatic as well) however on land it was very slow and likely could not chase down prey, it most likely reared up on its hind legs and used its claws defensively when confronted!

I think you’re right, however it is still quite strong, additionally with it being semi aquatic, it makes it somewhat of an apex in both land and water
Duck ruins Spino land or Water. Sarco outruns Spino in water(unless full water build), everything on land outruns spino and bars would kill a spino outright.
What encounter is Spino good at? Anything spino can kill it can be outtrunned easily and since bleed is gone they have no reason not to run.
Rex has a charge, spino had charge bite to ambush and bleed to stop things running but both is gone.
Spino needs some new stuff and its bleed back. @@VelocciYT

@@VelocciYT I should probably give some good reasons why kais kinda op. 1 he has a longer lunge than eurino and if i'm guessing longer than mossas and leeds. 2 he cannot be grabbed by a sarco. 3 his long neck makes it easier to dodge attacks and land attacks. 4 his barrel roll is good for enemys charging at you like a sarco or eurino. 5 if you get pounced by a eurino lunge on land shake the eurino off, then bite it until it dies. ( I recommend having beachcomber equipped) I said all of this just because of how underrated Kai is, so hopefully this helps a bit.

I wouldn't say ano is a tier anymore because Meg and laten/deinos have pounced, which ano has nothing against.
I'd say the biggest problem is that sarcos can grab ano while hunkered down. Useless if close to a river.
Mhm I see what you mean, I do think the hunker down and bone break is really strong still, sarcos grab is the bigger negative mind as for some reason it can be picked up
