- I have never seen an animated short like this for any Genchin character before...but I'm so glad that for the first time, it was done for Arlecchino. I never knew how much she had went through, and who she lost. This animated short puts some pieces together, but of course it only makes me want more. This woman is so powerful...and who was that at the end?

That dismissive comment about "grotesque wilted flowers" was about Clervie and the other kids who didn't make the cut. Good riddance to that false "mother."
Oh, I first interpreted it as the mother regretting not being more strict with Arlecchino, which led to her becoming rogue, instead of being her best pawn.
I interpret it as Clervie alone. That flower is Lumidouce bell, and Clervie’s pendant is that flower. Also when Mother described her as innocent and kind(when helping and befriending alecchino) but useless(couldn’t win the challenge).
@@krispypatata6723most likely than not clervie is crucabenas biological child, considering what arlechinno said earlier "do mothers usually argue with their daughters" on its own doesn't stand out much since yk it's an orphanage, but combined with the fact mother was specifically looking at the lumidouce bell while talking and the fact that only her and clervie seem to be the only ones with pink hair at the house, i personally think it's safe to assume that she was talking about clervie and that she doesn't seem to care that her bio daughter is dead
Remember that Arle doesn't kill Cl but she sacrificed herself by the hands of Arle. The flower is Lumidous Bell refers to Cl and her pendant symbolize that. Also the pot that current Knave is holding was given by Cl. She becomes emotioneless when Cl sacrificed herself the one and only friend/sibling (not by blood) and become cold bloded which is why she hates the word "Mother".......
She became the opposite of what she was made by. She was raised by a kind, loving "mother" on the outside, but was cruel and evil on the inside. Arlecchino in turn became a cold, intimidating, and unfeeling "Father" on the outside, but caring and loving on the inside
@@mynameisbonbon yea it was pretty much clear when she said as a strict and unfeeling father. This line already tells she is different from Mother.

That scene where she promotes to be harbingers shows alot of revelations.
1. She rose to the ranks and got her current position as the 4th Rank. Because Scaramouche, Capitano and Signora are there which also indicates that the Doctor is on the ranks.
2. She is still Young and showed a lot of Potential to rise. Also she might be the hardest Harbinger the traveler will have to face yet.
I mean she is the Fouth Harbinger, It would only make sense for her to be very powerful but not as powerful as scarmouche boss form.

We know that child in the end is neither Lyney (we know when and how he was recruited and it's 100% not that) nor Freminet (he was under previous Knave). So just random recruit.
Everytime when i use Arlecchino and pick the Sunsettia. I definitely cry 😭, Hoyoverse really cooked up Arlecchino.

I dont think Al killed Clervie, I think her death was cause by one of the other children. When Clervie dies, the knave is still holding her own blade, so maybe Al found Clervie almost dead and that scene happened in her last moments before death. So the mother’s reference to the wilted flowers probably meant that Clervie was never going to make it and that someone was going to kill her. Which is why I think that one of the other children could’ve stabbed Clervie and been killed by the knave when she arrived
Arles blade isnt shown in that scene though. Its pretty obvious its her sword going through clervie
Well she might have sacrificed herself by Al's hands so that they won't have to fight.

Yes... in her right hand... the side that would fit perfectly in position with where Clervie was impaled.
It also has the light curve of perueres blade.
It really obviously is her blade that went through Clervie.
But she didn't kill her. Clervie impaled herself on it.
It is why "mother" said, that innocence and kindness are useful. Clervie was kind and innocent enough to throw herself on Perueres blade, so she didn't have to kill her childhood friend. It is also why Clervie said "I'm Sorry". She wants to apologize for breaking the promise of going to snezhnaya together.
And that final "no" Peruere said to mother was in regards to the only question she asked: "Wouldn't you agree?"
In regards to referring to Clervie as a wilted flower that she (mother) should have killed long ago instead of seeing it wither (lose).
Also: Peruere seemed to dislike the idea of fighting each other as a child already, as she didn't attend the story time as well as not wanting to kill her friend.

No it's a completely different thing. This is made by Mihoyo's animatiton team, the Genshin anime will be made by Ufotable(known for Demon Slayer and Fate so expect better animation than this).
