I want to say as a beginner tattoo artist I’m really really enjoying this podcast , it’s given me more confidence and inspired me more. Really Over listening … lol listening while cleaning the house … a necessary task, but you’re making me want to stop drop and roll into the chair to do some drawing haha !
Oi Mate. Thanks for puttin on an outstanding interview with Grace. You delivered a great show and directed the conversation beautifully while maintaining authenticity. Your questions were direct and allowed for dynamic answering from Grace while maintaining structure and flow. Yall smashed it collectively. From one tattooist to another, better put, from one artist to another, well done both of you. Prost. Timeless Truth Tattoo
Man, I’m working on my portfolio now to eventually get an apprenticeship and this podcast has truly been such a motivation. Unfortunately I’ve finished them all 😩 but honestly, best podcast I’ve seen so far about tattooing!
What an amazing pod cast! Loved every minute.. thank you sooo much. Grace, you are absolute stunning inside and out, a beautiful, caring, genuine soul and with you what you see really is what you get ❤❤🌹🌸🌺
Such a sick podcast, both of you giving good insights into the industry. Nice to see how Grace is progressing, was tattooed by her way back in 2017 and she was super sound then aswell. Can’t wait to watch more of this series
I'm 61 years young and well I found this interview very very powerful emotional and yes interesting because I honestly believe people have to be whom they want to be.
I just don’t understand why “body modification” is not just available as plastic surgery. These artists should be given reputable places to give clients what they want safely. Getting your tongue split is no less serious than getting a BBL. It’s a really stupid double standard.
In my tattoo parlour there’s a lady that has so many modifications, piercings and tattoos that it’s impossible to not have a reaction while looking at her. I always wondered what it’s like for her in everyday life.
Yes I live in Surrey and someone actually called me disgusting for dressing alternative 😂 people here are closed minded, I started on my bodysuit now, already had some dirty looks lol
Patio or Shed ? , id say Shed, in a thunder storm, you can be of comfort or shelter to somone in need and a place to be safe , as a child and as an adult , standing in my parents shed when its hammering down with rain, tapping on the roof was probably one of the most worry free places to be in the world, a patio in a thunderstorm, no matter how beautiful its design, I would imagine being quite a miserable and vunerable place to be , so most definetely a shed.
I’m so sorry that just bums me out you should be able to do and what you want to do and where you wanna go I have a handful of tattoos. I also don’t care about what other people look like or what they’re wearing just as long as you’re happy, and you’re doing your own gig.
Are they not conforming to counter culture standards? Like when I think of the stereotypical counter culture person Grace fits the description perfectly. In fact I would argue because of the effort and dedication required she is more of a conformist than those of the culture she critiques. 😆
baby girl it’s not that deep conforming to the general mentality. Tattoos are just seen as taboo desecration of flesh most people with tattoos are insecure wanting to be seen or be looked at a certain way, then complain when they’re looked at that way. in some cases it’s truly art and a test of discipline like with irezumi
Grace is so fascinating I could listen to her talk for hours and hours.
She's so fly, good to get to actually hear her speak on a format like this.
It’s always having a pleasure hearing Grace talk

Great work with the podcast. Love the relaxed nature of the conversations. And being in each artists shop makes each episode more dynamic.

People remark on untattooed people too. Anyone who looks a bit different is bound to get dumb remarks, unfortunately. Best to ignore them.
You are a beautiful freak, I love your content, you are so smart and your content is educational ❤
Caviar??
Body mod and the culture in general used to be "anticonformist" now it's just fking normal.

Patio - you can hide the bodies under me. I tipped this onto 666 likes. You're welcome :)

How can you be a reflection of nonconformity when everyone and their grandma has a tattoo. I’m the odd one for not needing “tattoo therapy”
You are a liverpudlian, arent you?
Shes so beautiful. Love from Sweden.
