2023 Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup Final | Athlone Town 2-2 Shelbourne - Athlone win 4-3 on pens

Athlone Town have won the 2023 Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup, their first ever FAI Cup triumph after a penalty shootout victory over Shelbourne at Tallaght Stadium.
In front of 3,526 spectators, both teams provided an entertaining game that finished 2-2 after extra-time and had to be decided by a penalty shootout.
Athlone clinched it 4-3 on spot-kicks with Dana Scheriff, Chloe Singleton, Kayleigh Shine and Jesi Rossman all converting when the pressure was on The Midlanders. This is their second piece of silverware this season following on from their President's Cup triumph over the same opponent.

Think i will be an Athlone Town supporter.When they played better than Shelbourne Shels went 2-1 up thought heads wud drop but they fought back to win. Well done from a Dub.
