I think that this is why GymShark is one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. Ben actually cares about the day to day of his employees, and by the looks of things is not putting profits ahead of employee satisfaction. Imagine if the company you worked for, created a facility specifically for you and your workmates to pursue a healthy life in the most convenient way possible. You would love your employer and would want to work for them even more. In return, people will work harder and there will be less attrition resulting in more profits. Well played Ben, you inspire us every day.

Well we could use a gym like this in the netherlands. Most people go to commercial gyms where they just put as much equipment and people in a small space as they can. As they progress in fitness, most of them prefer a more 'professional' gym. They are ready to pay a bit more as well!

And that everyone going there will be so damn vain. It’ll be a club show instead of an actual gym. Ppl showing up to look good/cute/dressing up with clothes hair makeup. Just there to really good rather than sweat your all. And no overweight out of shape person will comfortable going there I bet you
It's not for out of shape people. It's for people who fit the lifestyle
bodybuildingdaily news This is wrong. And seriously an awful thing to think... the gym is for staff and family/friends and the occasional visitor. “Out of shape people” could easily come into these categories and be working towards the goal of a healthier lifestyle.

It really blows my mind, the owner of gym shark is only 27!!! And he owns an empire worth hundreds of millions of dollars and has offices and gyms in different countries. And has a huge staff working for him. insane.
Sasha Sauber over priced gym apparel made for status kids who can join their little group in their genetically superior. people want the brand, and he knew how to take advantage of that.

He was smart by getting the original fitness youtubers to advertise his brand at first but now the brand is only worn by little annoying rich kids who go to the gym to take selfies and then leave. Wait til the activewear and “Look at me I go to the gym like everyone else” trend dies and he’ll begin to lose money

They don''t fit me either but that's because I'm too small. Would be nice to have a full spectrum of sizes for the clothes.
@Nicholas Hutchinson why don't you tell the other guy to lose weight? If I gained 25lbs I'd be classified as obese. My frame is tiny, super small skeleton that's why i wheigh very little even though my bmi is in the middle of the healthy range. I just want some slim fit t shirts that aren't skin tight. Like XS size

20m in profit from 100m sales? I dont know shit about business but that seems low? I thought the clothes were cheap to produce but overpriced. Does the company have a lot of staff they are paying salaries too? Wheres the money going from 100m?
@@JG-ge3ui It's very good for a very new company. Companies like microsoft aren't far ahead in terms of profit margin but they bring in a lot more profit overall due to their operations being on a much larger scale and additionally their products/services appeal to a larger market segment.

Simply put, you did need some expenses to not pay taxes on your massive net profit and you did the right thing to invest it back into the company...
And they realise building a 'culture' and being the face of that culture is a genius way to build a consistently growing and stable customer base. A lot of their money is dropped into marketing, studios, samples and content. How much better is it that your athletes can make content, work out, do shoots and have meetings all in the same place. And it starts the idea of a club ontop of the 'gymshark family'. "It's a movement not a product". The business strategy team have some brains on them.

Alphalete is different, this brand is built on value, family, it's something else. When you go to Alphalete it's like you go to a cathedral.

I don't think what they're about is more than just supplements and gyms. They're building a brand and a culture and a bunch of gyms isn't what they're after. Anyone can open a chain of gyms.

I must say but, it is kind of a waste putting it in Birmingham. Should of put it in America. I don't really think many GymShark athletes are going to be willing to move to Birmingham to train there.
